Seriously though. I feel like we’ve been trapped inside forever and my children are just angry.
I’m up nursing baby. This is the first time she’s woken up before 7am in weeks. But she still slept about 9 hours so I’ll take it. Hopefully she goes back to sleep so I can get everyone ready for the day in peace.
This morning I’m dropping DD2 and 3 off at preschool, then driving to Kansas City to visit my sorority sister who has a baby 5 days younger than mine. I’m excited to see them next to each other again. Arden outweighed him by a pound at birth, but by two months he was two pounds heavier than her. Interested to see how much of a size difference there is now.

Good morning! We were out of town this weekend for my cousin’s wedding. Kids were not invited but they provided a babysitter, so DD1 had her first non-family babysitting experience. After her initial freak-out she did ok! And I just wore the baby to the wedding.
Back to a normal week now of toddler tantrums and H traveling. So glad there’s warmer weather in our future!

I’m unsure of what my day holds ahead. DD1 hurt her knee on Saturday and has been very weird about it. I was planning on taking her in to the dr today but MH said she walked across the room this morning completely fine. So now I’m just waiting for her to finish her breakfast so I can watch her walk. If she’s still hobbling I’ll take her in. If not, we’ll have a long day at home since i still want her to take it easy and not re-injure her knee

Snow here and it will be over 70 in Thursday WTF!
Not much planned besides getting the boys to preschool this morning and then going to get them 2 hours later. Too much packing up for not enough payoff when a baby is involved.

If you are BF, has anyone gotten their period?
With boys I got my period the week of their first birthday. My PMS was awful both times, no question what was coming.
I just wiped and had some pink on the TP. She’s 10 weeks. No warning. I hate when things don’t happen as expected. It wasn’t from sex. Seems weird to happen out of nowhere but also doesn’t seem like the start of my period.

I thought I had posted something in the MOTN thread but I may have imagined it. I saw every hour of the night. The baby’s congestion is causing him to cough and gag. By 3am I couldn’t take it and decided to bring him downstairs into the rnp and I attempted to sleep on the couch. He finally got some sleep but I really didn’t. The lawn care company came today and started leaf blowing and mowing. My house now smells like gasoline because of it. I am solo parenting all day. MH leaves for work in 10 minutes and I won’t see him until 7:40 tonight. It’s going to be a rough one.

We got 5+ inches of snow yesterday. I'm so over it. Another system likely coming next weekend but we have upper 50s a couple days mid-week. Nothing exciting planned today.

Around 10 weeks I had some bleeding that I thought was a period but looked more like lochia/pp bleeding. Then it went away. Baby is almost 15 weeks and I still haven't had a real period which kind of worries me. Maybe your bleeding is like mine and not really a period?

Yes. Fake spring. You are the bane of my existence right now. Our backyard still has this much snow in it because it won’t get warm enough to melt That’s my garden. I’m growing snow drifts. Lol! Anyway. Somber night last night attending our community candlelight vigil at our rink and coming home to watch the live feed from Humboldt’s. Our kids did great and were very respectful as both vigils were very captivating. DS had some questions and asked why we had to say good bye to so many people and it was an emotional moment but we also have to remember he’s getting old enough to want to know what’s going on. On a lighter note, I was up early this morning to get into the online queue for SaskParks and me and friends got a camping trip booked together for August long whoop! They open up 2 parks reservations a day online for the next couple weeks so I’m back doing this tomorrow to book a trip with my parents as well. H is back to work this week and DS back to preschool today. Hope everyone has a good day!

Snow flurries here in central Ohio this morning (my parents are 2 hours south and have about 2 inches) and it is supposed to be almost 70 on Friday. I'm not holding my breath.
Faith was back in her crib last night and while she woke up more than normal it was a lot better than Saturday night. I think the new sleep environment is allowing her to wake up easier during her sleep cycles. She has little experience sleeping flat on her back since she has been in the newborn napper thing in the PnP or the RnP by our bed.
Today I'm working... DH has an interview this afternoon and we are hoping he hears back early this week for an interview back on Thursday.

It could be coincidental, but we’ve noticed much improvement in DDs attitude starting Saturday. She’s still not napping well, but her awake periods are much more pleasant. Lots of smiles, happier to chill on her activity mat etc. Its enough for me to think going dairy and soy free was the right call. Even DS1 was like Scarlett’s finally happy!

rebeccabunch I have had some super light spotting the last couple of days. I am exclusively breastfeeding, last time around I had got my first period around 8 weeks. I also got an IUD put in about 2 weeks ago. One would think between the breastfeeding and the IUD I would be in the clear but I guess my Aunt Flo is a strong b*

With my first iud I spotted on and off for 12 weeks. It’s been 4 weeks with this one and so far it’s the same. I’m a FF so I get my period too which is fun. I’m hoping in a few weeks, my body will be used to the iud and my periods will be light spotting like they were last time. It was glorious.

I took it at night and don't remember any side effects. My period might have been slightly heavier than "normal" but I only took it for long cycles so it was probably a thicker lining to shed instead of a med side effect.

We had another weird vomit episode today. But she seems so gassy, I'm going to try mylicon and if it still happens call the ped. Between the puke, my 2yo having an accident right at the potty, and no sleep I just can't. Plus my H is being petty about being at 6w (sex) and I just kinda wanna trade him in. Why are men so single minded?

Fucking props to you ladies who do this every day. After today I'm ready to say dueces, time to go back to work. Not really but I'm close. I won't be super upset.

I had some mixed reactions about going back too. Mostly that it was nice not to be in charge of her for awhile. DH is taking the lead during the work day except when she needs to nurse or has an interview. And while I wish this transition isn't because he was laid off it will be to my benefit when she does start day care when he gets a job. Right now I have the best of both worlds, I'm with her but not in charge of her. I wish we could afford a nanny so this could be the normal routine.

sunfrogger My H has given up on trying to talk me into sex. We haven't had sex since I was 6 months preg. He pestered me around the 6 wk mark but until he starts meeting my needs in life so I'm not stressed out about my work at night, good luck buddy. Have you straight up told him to back off? You have a lot on your plate right now.

I love the look on their face when they’re staring at them. She has also realized she can put them in her mouth and her eyes always get so wide. Lol.

sunfrogger my DH is getting annoyed by the lack of sex but yeah, sorry. I’m holding a tiny human for multiple hours a day and there are constantly other small humans touching me. When they’re in bed for the night I just want no one touching me.
