J has started realizing he has hands. He has no idea what to do with them but he looks at them like they are a foreign object. It is cute to watch. Here too! Finally let go of the death clinch. Lol

I totally posted DS1 on the floor to get him to nap, no shame! Lol it worked. DS2 is also sleeping, I need to finish cleaning the kitchen before he wakes. It’s spring break and today is the only nice day this week. Maybe we’ll walk to grocery later. Ohh we had a weight check and DS2 is on the charts (1%) Woot my baby is coming up! It’s crazy that he’s almost 6 months.

jessijean I've just basically ignored his advances and such. I am so tired anymore that even if I wanted to I'd fall asleep halfway through.

N has started chewing on her hands and drooling sooo much over the last couple weeks she’s starting to freak me out! Her sister had 2 teeth by 4 months...I don’t want her to grow up that fast too!!! 😭

I found a little certificate in baby’s bag from school that said she rolled back to belly today! I tried to get her to do it for me tonight and she didn’t. I hate missing this kind of stuff 😢

Faith is starting to chew on her hands and drool and blow spit bubbles. I think I feel tooth buds but I'm not sure.

This thread title made me LOL. I live in TX and we had 30 degree weather over the weekend which is crazy for April! Today was back to beautiful spring and we took advantage by playing in the backyard a lot and going to the park! I’m sorry for those of y’all who are still dealing with snow!! Ds2 is 9 weeks and I just can’t believe how fast it’s going! He is starting to have much more alert periods for longer and is getting interested in toys. And he is SO smiley!!!!

I hate missing this kind of stuff 😢 My friend's day care has a "no firsts happen here" policy. So even if the baby does something like that, they don't tell the parent. I guess with rolling it could be a safety issue so maybe they would but they don't talk about first steps or anything like that!

This is just part time care at a church though so I guess they don't really think about it. I am sure full time daycares are more sensitive to parents missing this kind of stuff than a part time program would be.
