I won’t eat gummy bears. I don’t find most candy appealing. I am not a fan of the non chocolate candy, but give me all of the (good) chocolate.

I would venture to say that a public swimming pool has less germs than the average hotel bed. Just a hunch. Wut. I’d still pick the hotel sex.

I don't mind houseguests but I've only had my mother stay longer than a weekend. If anyone wants to come to Germany you can stay at our house. My kitchen might even be finished by then!

Dh and I celebrated (ate fondue and cheesecake at home) our 10th dating anniversary on the 4th. We haven't really done anything for it since we've been married, but 10 years seemed worthy of a small celebration. The week before, he claimed it was April 5th, but I was adamant that I was correct.
Yesterday, the 5th, my FB On This Day is full of happy anniversary posts from years past. 😳😬
I also always forget if our wedding anniversary is the 13th or 14th. I am the worst.

Can we make confessions on behalf of our H's? I was woken up around 4:00 am the other night. He had fallen asleep walking back from the bathroom and walked into the bed post. (He was OK and I didn't laugh until the next morning)

This Sunday is Orthodox Easter. Every year I say I'm going to make it to midnight mass, and every year it comes and goes :/ I'm so burnt out by 9pm anymore. It makes me feel really guilty. I feel so half assed and non deserving just making lamb and potatoes on Sunday rather than celebrating the holy week. It makes me feel like I'm just "claiming" the holiday.

rvasc you might be a saint. That would be a haaard pass for my introverted self. I had house guests last weekend and I’m good until the end of summer. Well I’m not an introvert. And I bought this house then furnished it to sleep 8 in a bed, plus I can squeeze at least 3 more in the bonus room. And they’re all people I want to host. Just maybe not all this cluse together. Related: if we ever do a Charlotte GTG, I get to host!

Mh's family is Russian Orthodox and we celebrate with food only. Orthodox church on high holy days is 3+ hours, so I don't think anyone should blame you if you don't attend. Enjoy your lamb!

I’ve never intentionally purchased gummy bears, but I can get down on some peach ring gummies.
Pregnant me stopped at 7-11 for fiery hot Cheetos and peach gummies at least once (ahem twice) a week.

We don’t have a dating anniversary. We just banged for years on end, while constantly reminding one another we weren’t exclusive. And then one day, he called me and said, “rent is really high in NY, want to get an apartment together?”
Who says romance is dead?

We did nothing for our 5th last year because I was sick as a dog in first tri (almost second, maybe?). Actually, we did have a couple kid free hotel nights because of a wedding, so that was nice but also... sick. So. We are at least going to a baseball game next week, so I guess that is celebrating our 6th? Lol. We will also probably go out to dinner. Or more likely, dinner and a movie (Black Panther).

God I have no clue what to do now. I feel like a 5th wedding anniversary is like an excuse to do something more than usual and celebrate the milestone. Hmmmm.
