Things here have been super quiet... I need to try to get on more often.
Hope all of you are doing well!

Work has been busy, life has been busy...a lack of free time restricts my HIH time. We got out new oven installed last night. YAY! But we still have quite a ways to go on the kitchen before it is usable.
Hope everyone had a nice holiday weekend.

Howdy!! DS was back to school on Tuesday & I haven't worked this week since getting my paycheck & seeing some shadiness with how they're doing things with my pay. I emailed the treasurer & cc'ed the superintendent. I'm completely over it. I'm sure they think it's trivial but if they were being shorted, they'd probably feel different. I just want to gtfo of here tbh.

Also DS is having a field trip to the aquarium in a couple of weeks & they aren't having parent chaperones this year. Last year was the zoo & there were formal "chaperones" & then just the option to come with & accompany your child. I'm thoroughly confused. Like I literally can't come, pay full price & make sure my kid stays safe? There's a lot of punks in the 1st grade class at his school because all classes are going. Just yesterday this kid in his class told him Mickey is for babies when he was drawing him. It really bummed him out when he was telling us about it because he's been on a Mickey kick lately. I told him eff that kid (I chose better words lol) & said, clearly he hasn't been to Disney World. LOL

Things have picked up here. Between spring break last week and more tests for me this week I haven't gotten on. I see the GI again next week and I'll be demanding my gallbladder come out asap. This shit hurts and I'm over it.

NamasteBirches kids this age can be assholes. So what if he still likes Mickey? I know I did at his age. That kid needs to mind his own business.

Luckily he said two of his classmates came to his defense but this kid is a troublemaker (+ a couple more in his class) so I'm feeling a little uneasy sending him alone on this field trip. :/

Mickey is awesome. For all ages.
Its a little late in the school year but today is picture day. Hopefully DD won’t give me too much trouble when picking an outfit. I bought a dress and its pink which is her favourite colour so should be ok. But today might be the day when she tries to go to school in sweatpants and t-shirt that don’t match. And, also, hoping her hair plays along.
