Age: 3
Milestones:
Challenges: it’s snowing and I don’t have good boots to take him outside and our car is getting fixed so we are home bound and starting to get mean with one another.
Funny/cute stories: he met a mini Reese’s peanut butter cup for the first time on Easter and before I could talk to him about it he takes a big bite right into the full tin foiled Reese’s, it was hilarious. I was like woah woah we have to unwrap it first.
How are you? Trying times in our house this week due to weather and normal life challenges (heavily sarcastic), overall good
Anything else?
QOTW: Did you have a good Easter (if you celebrate)? Did you have a good weekend (if you don't)? It was his first year where he got the concept of egg hunting so that was fun, did not have to explain it to him at all. He had way too many treats and I haven’t let him have anymore since. Meanwhile I’m still eating treats.

Age: 2 3/4
Milestones: No more night time nappies! She's been dry at night for months, so we decided to see whether no nappies at night might encourage her to try underwear during the day. It's completely typical for my child to do it backwards!
Challenges: She's two. And I've been ill, and it's school holidays so no preschool. And she was under the weather yesterday. It's been a rough ten days.
Funny/cute stories: I've mentioned before that she's obsessed with Thomas and Friends at the moment. She's also crazy about books. So she's started setting up her trains with a book each to read when she needs to go somewhere else, presumably so that they don't get bored without her.
How are you? I'm tired, but so relieved not to be feeling ill any more. Still hoping that it isn't serious or long term. Next appointment is on the 16th so we'll see.
Anything else? We're going away for the weekend tomorrow, for my dad's 70th. We're going on a steam train as a surprise for L. I can't wait to see her face!
QOTW: Did you have a good Easter (if you celebrate)? Did you have a good weekend (if you don't)? Easter was lovely, and L still has so much chocolate! We did a little egg hunt for her at home, with Thomas minis in the eggs. But she got chocolate at church, from two godmothers, and from her grandparents! We had dinner with my parents (who don't go to church), and it was a lovely family day.

Age: 3
Milestones: Nothing new.
Challenges: Potty training and constant fighting with his brother
Funny/cute stories: He was devastated Tuesday when H went back to work and DS1 went back to school. We had lunch with H to help him feel better, but then he was so mad we couldn't get DS1 from school. He kept begging to just "go hug him real quick and then leave." Then of course when DS1 came home from school, they spent the rest of the afternoon fighting with each other...
How are you? Busy, but good.
Anything else? Nope.
QOTW: We did! This was the first Easter that DS2 really got into things, and it was pretty cute. Getting candy for doing nothing was mindblowing for him.

Age: 17 months Milestones: she is starting to do a lot more pretend play and her vocabulary is exploding Challenges: she has another sniffy cold Funny/cute stories: she always pretends to feed us her sippy cup and we say nom nom nom, so she pretends to feed her sippy cup to her stuffed animals, little people and she then says nom nom nom. It's so cute How are you? OK just tired Anything else? nothing QOTW: Did you have a good Easter (if you celebrate)? Did you have a good weekend (if you don't)? It was a good easter, she had so much fun and so did we. enchanted, swim classes sound great, we started E up again with swim classes, and while she loves the pool the class doesn't really teach her to swim. They just sing songs and do pool safety, I think I need to find a new class over the summer.
