I mean, I like running, but if you don’t like it, it is miserable. I can walk for miles but running is torture Try the first few weeks of C25K and see if you like it. My experience was that it made the beginning stages of jogging way more pleasant (you get to walk just at the point you start getting out of breath) and allowed me to work up to really enjoying the longer runs. If you find you really hate it, then it’s definitely better to find an alternative! Walking or biking are always good options. 🙂

I was looking at that one! Thank you! I’m debating now if I add another day of OTF to my life or buy one of these. I get two intense work outs a week, but really want one more. For me personally, I would get bored doing the same workout all week. I would probably end up buying this to mix it up. Plus it's a workout at home.

I like that it will be from a friend who was there literally day one from the beginning. We crashed on his couch for the first couple months of our relationship and he is excited to be there to share how he saw our love grow (sorry for the mush). I prefer that over someone we don't know.

It is a really slow time for my team right now, and I am SO bored.
I suppose there are a few things I could do that aren't very important but I don't have any motivation to do them.

Well, all this workout talk has me feeling guilty I took my rest day today instead of Saturday. I was supposed to run 6 miles this morning.

@grumpychat , do you have Class Pass in your area? It's a great way to try out a bunch of different types of classes to see what works best for you. I've been using it for 15 months and I absolutely love it. Every week I do Spin, Running, Shred/HIIT and Megaformer. I can send you a link for $40 off your first month if you want (I also get a $40 credit, just to be open about that). Send me a PM with the link! I’m game to try anything and help a friend in the process. Lol

Even though its grey and dreary here, I heard it was going to be 60 so I put on one of my new dresses to help it feel more like spring. It's got pretty flowers on it, paired with a spring green cardigain. This dress is so comfy, even if I do have to wear nylons with it for now.

I was loving going to the gym for my zumba, dance, and hip hop class, but then I got a little bored of the same songs etc. I did sign up for the beachbody ondemand and like that the 21 day fix is a different workout each day of the week. Plus I can do the many other videos they offer, but I am also still at home so less likely to make an excuse not to do it

If you sprint each time it’ll probably stay torture but if you go at an easy jog you can probably go a lot longer. Also I hated running till I got over 3 miles. I still hate those first 3

For me, I would want to know the person is properly licensed with my state and knows what papers need to be sent where and what papers need to be signed and by whom correctly.
I also didn't say anything about your friend. No need for short bio.

Can anyone compare the peloton rides to a soul cycle class? I’m trying to convince MH we should get one but I’m not sure if I would miss my soul cycle type classes. Like I’ve heard it’s a lot more seated riding?

@dazedandconfused can you ask for an RD consult? Like a second opinion on the calories thing? They also might have some tips to help you work around the hospital set menu and add more appetizing or healthier calories that way, if needed. I'm sorry - it must be hard being in and out of the hospital so much. An I ask why you requested no cooked items? I did ask for an RD consult and they were less than helpful (thus the yogurt). I don’t like to order any of the real entrees here just because cooked hospital food is pretty gross, lol.

Please check your state to see what qualifications are needed to perform a legal marriage. This has nothing to do with religion per se, although many states do recognize ministers of many religions as authorized to perform a marriage. Also, many times judges, etc., can perform legal marriages. A quick google showed me that for Texas, for example, there is some regulation. I'd guess your friend likes you enough to check the statutes and ensure he's doing things right for you. Presiding over a wedding in Texas is an act that is regulated by state law. The Texas Family Code regulates who can perform marriages. According to Texas Family Code 1.101, every marriage is valid unless challenged. The state regulates the type of person who can perform the ceremony as a way to ensure that the marriage is legal from the beginning.

I still hate those first 3 The worst part of any race is the first 3 miles. Agreed. I have to keep pushing myself to get to the three mile point and then I know my legs will wake up and all the kinks are worked out. I think a great way to get out there and run is to go get fitted for proper running shoes. Also, get yourself a new sports bra. I'm thinking that this summer will be when I finally am brave enough to run without a shirt so I need to make sure all my ratty sports bras get permanently retired.

ok, I don't know why you always have to shit on everything. I'll bio a motherfucker if I want. I wasn't shitting on anything. I said I wouldn't feel comfortable with those credentials. I thought you posted the spaghetti pic for reactions in the first place.
You said we're not religious. I said I wasn't speaking to religion.
I don't care who you bio. I was trying to assure you that I was not judging your friend, your desire to have the friend involved etc. My comment was about the photo that was posted. Clearly you are projecting some baggage or your own issue onto me.
I can carry on as though I don't see you moving forward.

C has declared today C and momma weekend day and refuses to take his pjs off. He’s fine. Totally not sick. But I could use the day off so I guess it’s not all bad.
So far we took R to school, went to the grocery store where I forgot half my shit that I needed, and sent a few farm related emails. I had plans of cleaning the house today but a lazy day sounds pretty good too.

wasabi I’m in a different state but I’m ordained by the Universal Life Church Monastery and officiated my Uncle’s wedding. I never even had to buy credentials, no one asked to see them. They did call the county first to make sure that church was recognized and legal but that’s it. So if he wants to sign up there for a back up it might be a good idea.
