@dazedandconfused can you ask for an RD consult? Like a second opinion on the calories thing? They also might have some tips to help you work around the hospital set menu and add more appetizing or healthier calories that way, if needed.
I'm sorry - it must be hard being in and out of the hospital so much.
An I ask why you requested no cooked items?

So tired. Baby is teething and was very angry overnight. My parents are coming this afternoon, trying to decide if I should sneak out for a run, go shopping or take a nap while they entertain my kids. Or clean my bathrooms.

We’re in the 60s-70s for the foreseeable future. A true no-snow winter. Sounds great, but this is CO and horribly wrong.

LOL yes the Peloton and Cher and sterling served me some kool-aid and now I'm part of the Orange Theory cult. Then we recruited brux. Who else wants to join the cult? Congratulations!!! So proud of you! I like your reward idea too, those might go on my list. I might join that cult in the summer. I’m currently in the Core Power Yoga and BBM cults.

I’d love to do OTF. There’s not one remotely close to home or work for me though

HilarityEnsued, I watched Bull last night and really liked it. It was just the right combo of entertainment and brain exercise. Lol

Oh we talking cult? I just got home from OTF and now I’m on the Peloton watching RHoA. I’m basically funneling KoolAid. The Peloton cult is a good one. Such a good home workout. I’m just casually riding right now while watching the DVR. The baby is still sleeping, only one wake up and this has never happened ever so I don’t know what to do with myself.

I think my next cult is Lifetime Fitness. There is one opening near my house probably late next year so hopefully we can join as a family and just do all the fitness things there. Apparently the one opening near me is "Diamond Club" level which seems like a code work for "even more overpriced", so I guess we shall see. We have one. It’s over $200/month for a family. ETA: Jk, ours is onyx, so I assume you’ll need to sell one of your children to afford diamond.

I wish we were still close to one.

HilarityEnsued I do think if you join before they open, you can get a deal, and everyone I know who has a membership does love it.

The baby went to bed without fussing and slept until 5AM for the third time in his 10 months of life. Maybe there is hope for us after all.

I work late tonight and somehow I'm caught up on housework and homework (it's because I busted my ass last week) so I'm on the couch with coffee and a movie. This is a real treat for me

SO's friend really wants to be the minister or whatever who marries us so he got ordained online. We went to his place last night and he showed us the certificate and omg, he actually got ordained by the church of the flying spaghetti monster. I thought it was a joke when he said it at first. I'm dying. My parents are going to die in a different way.

I just priced out the other diamond club near us and it's $279/mo for a family so... that's a lot. What do memberships include? Am I going to have to pay a la carte for everything on top of that? Mine was diamond and more than that for a family. It included all classes except small classes and personal training. I think it’s great if you will use the pool and all the classes but honestly I get more out of OTF for less money.

HilarityEnsued, the diet part makes sense. My doctor said good is 75% of the battle and exercise enables one to be lax on occasion.

My friends brother got that then found out it’s not accepted in our state as legit credential so he had to reordain through universal life church. It was only five minutes to reordain but better done before you have to sign docs.

I really need to make more time to work out. I feel like I never even left work between last night and this morning. I still have a free membership to a barre studio that I never use.

Before anyone says, “you just haven’t found something you like,” I have never enjoyed exercise.
I’ve been relishing in the fact that I can now send the boys to play while I sit, but the easiest thing would be for me to get out there with them.
And then I start to hate myself bc FFS, I live in CO, lol. I’m surrounded by fucking nature and outdoor activity.

You won't be be able to track your progress like you can with the whole bike unless you get the parts to hook up to your bike, but it still gets the job done having access to all the classes.
