killertofu - Oh no! Resting is the best thing you can do right now. Not cramping seems like a really good sign. Have you done anything recently that may have irritated your cervix? Even straining lifting things or during a BM can cause some bleeding. I hope it stops soon! I did work today, nothing strenuous but I was on my feet all day. I have tomorrow off, so I'm going to rest up and call my OB on Monday. The bleeding has stopped for now, and I'm really hoping it stays that way.

Hugs killertofu, hope it's nothing. No cramps= good. akwild, listen to the voicemail please! Nymeria, my MIL did the same thing with DS2 on facebook. Like, STFU woman. I could have throttled her. I'm beat, it's the middle of a 4-day conference. I'm on 8am panels both Saturday and Sunday. Someone clearly hates me.

Finally done working for the day. Eastern time zone... TGIF.
Good thing some coffee is allowed - I'm going to need it for FSIL's bridal shower tomorrow morning.

killertofu bleeding is so scary! I have had bright red blood (more than spotting) several times and my ob just said sometimes it happens and our cervixes are so sensitive right now that even a little irritation can cause blood. Hoping that everything is fine and you'll get some reassurance on Monday! It does always seem like the worst things always happen on Fridays!

We made it to the mountains safely. It was soooo narrow and curvy. We explored a fairy garden place yesterday that was fun. think we are going to try the cabbage patch doll factory today. I'm hoping SO will make it here today to join us but he's been across the country for almost three weeks now. Last night he had to change his flight again so fingers crossed. killertofuThinking of you. I can relate to the bleeding and I understand how scary it can be. Hope you got rest and feeling better.

knittyI'm sure it is where you are thinking since I only know of one Cabbage Patch place. Yesterday we went more north though, near Young Harris. That was some white knuckle driving especially when raining. We like to get away up here occasionally. DD is having fun so far, mostly because of the indoor pool and giant jacuzzi in the room.

Thanks everyone. I am definitely taking it easy today. I haven't had any more bleeding which I think is a good sign. I'm debating about calling in to work tomorrow and Monday until I get the ok from my OB. Do you think that's overreacting? My job isn't strenuous, but there is some lifting and I'm on my feet all day.

Is anyone else finding themselves short tempered/lacking patience? I'm feeling like a terrible mom this weekend because I just can't handle L being, well, a toddler. I'm usually a very patient person, but this past week has been extra challenging.

killertofu I definitely don’t think it’s overkill to call in to work until you get the okay from your doc if that would make you more comfortable. The best case and most likely scenerio is that all is well and your doc will give you the all clear, and if taking it easy in the meantime is what you need to do I think go for it. knitty getdownplease ugh the ‘irritability’ is at an all time high here too. DH and I got in an big argument last night because he spent a bunch of money to watch mortercycle races online. I should have just let it go — staying up late fighting was so not worth the loss of sleep lol! It just takes less than usual to get me riled up!

getdownplease chriskoo I'm glad it's not just me, but I'm sorry you're dealing with it too. Thankfully H and L have both been very understanding of it for the most part, but I'm driving myself crazy.

I'm hoping it gets better when I'm not so tired and still sometimes feeling sick.

This comment would have fueled some rage in me. Followed by a side of guilt - thanks hubs. I seriously feel like I cannot control my impatience. It's just part of the whole package of uncontrollable things happening to me/within me right now!

My job isn't strenuous, but there is some lifting and I'm on my feet all day. I don't think that's overreacting either. Especially being on your feet all day and lifting. I would mention to your OB the frequency and estimated weight of what you typically lift at work.

Bitchy, party of 2. That's me right now!
I can't keep myself from crying at everything so it is no surprise that I also can't control my grumpy either.

Oh I am super grumpy. Some days I cannot control it. Then I feel bad for my students because they have no idea and it’s not their fault.

Is anyone else feeling stupidly uncomfortable already? The back of my hips have been hurting and my lower back and sometimes my pelvis. My abdomen feels like it's painfully hanging out already - as though my abs have completely given up on their life. I feel like I need some kind of belly support already. It's WAY too early for all this 😣

Also I'm mad at old Navy because they no longer carry their maternity in store. By the time I found out I had no time to order online and get it tomorrow mom's before we fly back. :/ So I went to motherhood maternity for the first time and that place is EXPENSIVE! I bought a few sale items, but man. Target does have some cute maternity jeans right now and I got a couple of those.

I never used a support belt with DS but I'm already considering it this time! I also think I need to work on my posture 😕 Since I haven't felt good for weeks on end, I've just been all slouched and slumped. I imagine that's making a big mess.

blurnette989 sorry you couldn't get Old Navy in time, but glad you found some other stuff! I got it in my head that I want a pair of grey skinny maternity jeans, so I'm on the hunt for that. Target was my first shot, but they didn't have them. My Target had mostly shorts! It's still only 30° here! Who's buying shorts?!

Maybe it's already time to haul it downstairs. Great suggestion! I hadn't even thought about that even though I see that ball upstairs every day!

This is hilarious because my mom lives in a beach town and they only had like 1 pair of shorts at Target and all jeans!
