I stayed within my weight watchers points for two days and a row, now I’m just lying back waiting to be thin. That’s how this works right?! I wish!!

Hello! Dyed eggs w the boys today and they wanted to do practice hunts to get ready ready for the Easter bunny so we did that for awhile. It was cute.
Using the wrap has been life changing. She napped in it for 1.5 hours twice. If she started to fuss I just bounced and I was able to make the egg dying, lunch and then later on the hunts happen with nominal stress.
Having one of those days where she’s soooo sleepy. Falls asleep at every feed. I’m worried it’s going to bite me to tonight!

My H and I are having a date at home tonight at our basement bar with champagne and sushi. He called our favorite place for carry out and they said 2 hours! 😱 I threw a mini tantrum and told him to drive there and place the order in person. They quoted an hour to him so I’m trying to patiently wait. I’m starving!

The past two nights have been really rough. I’m hoping it’s the first leap and she will go back to going down easier and staying in the R & P. It’s taken over two hours to get her down the past two nights and she hasn’t wanted to stay in the R & P, she has ended up in bed with me far more than I like and I can’t sleep deeply enough with her there. Needless to say, I am very tired! My mom is here today so at least I have a little help, but DS was really missing me and needed some mommy time, so I couldn’t stay in bed longer. We are having Easter here with my in-laws on Sunday. Hope tonight is better for you 🤞

Have fun rebeccabunch that sounds like a great night! I hope your food comes fast! [b You and me both! And you can’t over feed your baby. We have many days where she’s constantly eating. I track all feedings and she can be a slow leisurely eater and we have days of 5-6+ hours spent nursing. No lie.

I keep hearing from family that maybe I'm spoiling him by letting him eat so much so I was starting to doubt myself. Enjoy tonight!! 🍾

Don't listen to them. You can't actually spoil them at this age. Just soak up all the snuggles. Also feel free to drop knowledge on them it's impossible for a bf -baby to overeat at the breast. There are two components to nursing; nutritive sucking and non -nutritive sucking. They're both very important. Not only to milk supply but to the mom -baby bond too! My mom constantly told me I was spoiling DD1. I just followed my mom instincts. 🤷♀️ you know what's best for your baby!

We had a fun dinner at my parents' house but LO got way overtired and was screaming his head off at bedtime. He was so upset he wouldn't eat at all. That's never happened. Sometimes he will get like that after 5 min of nursing but he's never refused to nurse altogether. I'm sure it will just mean another wake up. But still. I hate for him to totally miss his last feeding. In other news, LO is so cute I can't stand it:

I spilled my first bottle of breast milk (for this kiddo) this morning. Heartbreaking! Luckily I'm not a just enougher or I would have cried.
