Glad it went well lfig !! Speaking of what we do in the house, do you guys generally stay dressed till bedtime or put on pajamas/comfy pants when you get home? What about your H? As soon as I know I'm home for the night/no one will be coming over I practically rip my bra off while singing "I want to break free..." then it's knockoff LLRs from Walmart in garish patterns for the rest of the night. I just gave you a stunning visual didn't I?

That's so sweet cagoldi! Be as schmaltzy as you want you hormonal goddess. She seems absolutely perfect. And now you officially have enough kids to have a real band.

lfig and jewels glad the surgeries went well. cagoldi P is so cute, I'm glad you got to snuggle her and I hope you had a decent meal by now. wineallthetime any results from A's testing? Sorry he didn't get home. So far no signs of infection! They'll watch the cultures for 48 hours to be sure nothing shows up. They think he's just acting like the 34 weeker that ge currently is and was using too much energy.

Yes all day long to baths in a Jacuzzi tub or deep claw foot standalone tub.
No thank you very much to shoes spreading dirt and germs all over my house. I have a few family members who do this and I don't know why I still have to ask them to take them off to this day. Not changing my mind, guise. Plus, I have all these tiny dents poked in my hardwood floors which I suspect was from someone who's nub wore off a high heel. I don't know for sure if it was from before or after we moved in, but I am 99% certain I would have noticed it beforehand.
I also don't wear mine or let my kids wear their shoes in other people's houses either though.

I like pajamas or comfy pants. MH gets annoyed when I come downstairs in my pajamas pants anytime before like 9 or 10, and I think it’s weird he’ll hang out fully dressed all night. I was curious to see if we were normal about it or not We both change into comfy clothes it gym clothes when we get home. Pj or yoga pants when it's cold, gym shorts and tees when it's warm. Same.

wineallthetime This is probably not what you want to hear but my husband has had a hemorrhoid cut off before. They can also band them to let them 'die' and fall off.

I don't like to wear mine in other people's houses either, but I'm very often sockless and never know what to do in those scenarios. When it's a good family friend or family member, i put a pair of socks in my bag and slip into those if I'm planning to stay for a while, but with things like neighbors or more an acquaintance, im always a little awkward

I wear at all times, it only comes off for sex and showers. They're just too big and heavy for me to feel comfortable without one. wineallthetime that's great his labs look good so far. Have they given a new expected discharge date?

I’ve stepped in dog pee & vomit too many times to walk around the house without shoes on.
Besides, too many years of dancing have totally messed up my calves/ankles/knees. If I go sans shoes, I’m feeling it the next day. Not worth it.
If I visit someone’s house and they’re not wearing shoes, I take them off. Several of our friends don’t wear shoes in anyone’s house but it’s more of a culture thing.
The news did a piece not too long ago talking about how there were more germs on the bottom of your purse than in your bathroom. I bet all of us have put our purse on the dining room table at some point.

Have they given a new expected discharge date? We're still in the wait and see stage right now. We need all of his cultures to come back fine and he needs to take all feeds by mouth and do well on room air for at least 24 hours. I'd think that we are looking at Sunday as the absolute earliest, but probably longer. How's P doing?? I wish we were in the same NICU!

I was just lurking in the GD UO and the no shoes discussion came up; I find it absolutely fascinating that people wear shoes in their house, it is so weird to me and I would never do it and feel comfortable, in my house or someone elses. My H wears shoes all the time...I can't do it. He has bad feet though, so walking around without, makes his feet and back hurt.

My H changes as soon as he gets home from work, but he's a mechanic, so covered in mud/dirt and grease. Plus his work boots are uncomfortable and with the cold weather, he wears multiple layers and would roast inside. I stay in the clothes I wore all day until time to get ready for bed. But I wear jeans pretty much every day, so I'm comfortable.

Those that change when they get home...do you feel overwhelmed my laundry? I guess I'm imagining work clothes, comfy clothes then PJs everyday. I'm overwhelmed with work clothes, gym clothes and PJs..the idea of adding another outfit makes me want to cry!

So if I get home and put on leggings and then change into pj pants a couple hours later, I'll wear the leggings again. I also wear pj pants more than once. Maybe this is a confession...

I'm supposed to wear shoes all the time, but it bothers me. I grew up running around outside barefoot. I hate all shoes.

Sometimes I put my pjs/loungewear on earlier in the evening. Other times I keep my clothes on till either I shower or go to bed. Eta: DH showers immediately when he gets home. If he plans on going somewhere or doing something he’ll put on clothes but 99% of the time he puts on gym shorts. I also rewear my loungewear/pjs (which are mostly the same thing) multiple times before washing. I don’t usually wear a bra around the house but sometimes I’ll wear an old nursing sleep bra If my shirt is a lighter weight material to hide my nips a little more.

In college a girlfriend of mine really considered her corduroys her comfy clothes. And now I see how that ages me.

I do at least one load of laundry every day so it never really feels too overwhelming, but it's still a lot.

When I worked, I usually stayed in work clothes until I put pjs on, usually after I put the kids to bed. Now that I'm home, I wear jeans everyday until I put pjs on. Jeans hold me accountable for working out/eating better than comfy pants.

In fact the other night when I fell asleep at like 7 I was wearing jeans until I woke up at 10:30 and changed. For the record right now I’m wearing soft pants and a cozy sweatshirt.

Jeans hold me accountable for working out/eating better than comfy pants. Don’t you go somewhere every day too, though? If I’m going somewhere or am having people over I change into “real clothes” which means jeans. If I don’t plan to leave the house I pretty much just stay in my pjs all day.
