I feel like we may have talked about this somewhere, but I’m not focused enough to find it so hopefully no one minds sharing again. Anyway, my cousins have asked to throw me a shower, so I need a more specific registry than I’ve been keeping for myself.
What sorts of things did you need double of and what sorts of things was the regular amount (like for 1 baby) enough? Any twin specific items I should be aware of?

The only twin specific thing we got was a double stroller. We didn’t want to get a lot of baby gear since we were limited in space and budget (registry aside). We did get two boppies to settle babies vs a twin specific pillow. I EP’d and supplemented formula so I got a billion bottles (18 for each kid). This way I could make the next days bottles without having to first wash the bottles from that day. The babies went to daycare so maybe I wouldn’t have needed as many if i was at home. We got two cribs, bouncers, and fisher price space savers high chairs. Everything else we played by ear. If there was something I was seriously wishing I had more of for a week than we got it (how we ended up with so many bottles). If I could go back I’d skip the regular pacifiers and get a bunch of Wubbanubs. I was constantly losing the regular ones but the wubbanubs were easier to keep track of. If my twins weren’t the first I’d probably also register for some toys that would be good for independent play for my older kid.
