We survived the birthday party. Phew. My husband ended up going to the elite 8 game with a friend so I’m solo with the kids. We’re keeping our pjs on and having excessive amounts of screen time. And I’m cleaning and doing laundry. So much exciting stuff clearly.

AND.. J is napping in his crib!!!

Why do all the sit me ups have to be hideous? At least on Amazon.

At least once a day I am struck by all the reasons I am glad I’m not pregnant anymore.
I can easily carry heavy things. I can carry heavy things without my mom yelling at me that I shouldn’t be. I can put on shoes and socks and breath at the same time. I can climb a flight of stairs without gasping for air. I can climb two flights of stairs without feeling like I’m dying. I can sleep on my back. I can sleep on my front. I can wear most of my normal clothes.

Why do all the sit me ups have to be hideous? At least on Amazon. I just embraced it and ordered the frog one with the giant eyes. I feel like baby items in general have awful retro patterns most of the time. |

Both kids have been napping for over an hour now. I think we have fallen into this good schedule with S where he ends up napping for at least 1-2 hours sometime during DD’s nap & quiet time which is from 1-4 usually. So H and I are just lounging around drinking coffee & reading! It’s so quiet & I love it

I had to work this morning and it is DH first time taking care of both boys alone. The baby was crying and nothing was helping so he put him in the snoo. He passed out slept for 1.5 hours!🙌🙌[br

All 3 of my boys are sleeping. The little should be up any minute but I am enjoying the quiet and playing on my phone. I have been getting L to nap once a day for 3 hours and it’s magnificent. Steak and fries is what’s for dinner and I am excited. I already meal planned and plan to go grocery shopping tomorrow when the big is at school.

My sister and niece left and everyone left (except me) is down for a nap. I did take a long bath and have had two glasses of wine while they've been sleeping though so it's not all bad. Also.... wine makes grading papers more enjoyable.

Thank you for the birthday wishes everyone!! We dropped the girls off at my sisters house and had a fantastic dinner at Capital grille. It was so so good. Diet is back on tomorrow!! 😉

Why do all the sit me ups have to be hideous? At least on Amazon. I found a few neutral-ish patterns on there but they were more expensive and it pissed me off. I know kids are stimulated by bright colors and high contrast, but why haven't more companies figured out how to do that without making everything jungle themed or something else so obviously "kid". It is so hard to find baby gear that looks like something I wouldn't hate to have in my home and I'm not even that picky when it comes to decor. |

They were having a special this week that they run twice a year... u got to pick a salad, entree (which came with mashed potato and beans), and a dessert from a set list and it was only $38!!! The waiter said that it was a bit smaller portions than usual, like my filet was 8oz where off the regular a la carte menu its 10oz, but such a crazy deal!! |

Loved when she was just mine. I did enjoy the baby kicks. But another thing I love is that when I want to check on him to make sure he’s ok, I don’t have to wait for him to roll around! Also definitely in the camp of happy this is my last. Two and through! |
