pinkcat , like maddisonrose was saying, I think our DS had reflux too. He spit up soooo much and it was kind of yellow-y. He also flipped out if we put him down on his back, even for a minute. I feel like there were other signs too but those are the ones I remember most. ETA my tag doesn't make sense where it is, I meant to say our kid spits up a ton like hers!

Oh and when I was shopping today I was wearing a crappy, saggy nursing bra so I def need to try on the dresses with bras that lift a little more. I'm almost ready to swear off nursing bras and just wear regular ones and pull them down, stretch them out and say hell with it. I'll need new ones when I'm all done nursing anyway probably.

This is pretty much what I do. I’ve spent too much money on nursing bras that just don’t cut it after a couple wears. I’ll be getting sized and buying new bras when I’m done nursing so I don’t feel too bad about stretching the few I have that still fit.

How does DS2 know the instant I come down from putting DS1 down for nap?! Almost daily he starts fussing within a minute and just wants to cuddle. It's adorable but I get no me time.

I just realized I posted in Tuesday thread. I was supposed to be off work today but ended up having to go in for a few hours and pumped on the way to work. Then I left my milk in the fridge at work when I left. Argh.

maddisonrose, the tea tree suggestions are good - they make shampoo with it in it as well to help keep lice away. If he gets it, it's all about the combing! Get a metal comb, not the shitty plastic ones that come with the lice shampoos, and comb comb comb comb. The reason lice usually is a long problem in schools is because people don't comb all the nits (eggs out). The shampoos don't kill the eggs so they just hatch and voila, you have lice again.

We're having a great day. I taught 2 barre classes and the boys did really well for the babysitter. Now both are napping (and baby is in the RNP and not on me!) so I'm getting some more me time. The weather is gorgeous so we are heading to the park after DS1 wakes from his nap! Picking up Jason's Deli for dinner because I've cooked many nights in a row and I have no meat left until I get groceries tomorrow.

Faith slept for 5 straight hours last night!
DH is home today so after lunch I went out to find my Easter dress (ended up with two, one I will wear to her baptism) and a new top, picked up her Easter basket liner from the embroidery place, picked up a necklace I had repaired and a quick stop at the grocery store. Came home to a sleeping baby!
I was going to take a nap myself, but a coworker just texted me about big news at work so I'm waiting for her to call me after the conference call ends...

I’m tired. I went out kid-free earlier to TRU in hopes to find some good deals on stuff, but turns out they didn’t start their liquidation process yet 🙄 oh well, I got some good kid-free time anyway, and that was my first time leaving them both with MIL by herself. Each other time we left them, FIL was there to help her. She did great and H took an epic nap there.
I got home and got both girls down for a nap and got a good workout in. I’ve been stuck at the saaaaame weight for weeks now, but I’ve lost 1.5lb since I started working out this week! So that’s motivating. But now I’m wiped and just wanna sit and do nothing.

I'm so tired. DD2 is still not sleeping great. Last night I did get a 4 hour stretch which is good but I wish it was more consistent.
So update on the nanny. She still isn't returning the placement agency's calls so they are going to schedule the fill in for next week and get us resumes. She still has our car seat though so hopefully they can at least track that down. Our old sitter is a life saver and has been filling in when the replacement isn't available. I wish she had the room for us now! This whole ordeal has been really stressing me out and on top of being back at work I already need a break. Luckily next weekend we have a 4 day weekend for Easter and the following weekend my parents and DH's mom will be in town for the girls' baptisms so I have some stuff to look forward to.

Today has been a rough day. DS was supposed to have school but they called a snow day and then it barely snowed. DD has been really needy today. She has barely let me put her down and has not been taking naps. She went though three outfits, I was trying to finish the newborn diapers but I really can’t, so I’ll either give them to my brother or put them on our everything free site.
I just haven’t really had a break at all. DS didn’t nap and DH did take DD for an hour when he got home, but sometimes he’s just not good at soothing her, and when she’s screaming I can’t function. My mom is coming tonight, so I will at least have someone to occupy DS, and someone who can hold DD tomorrow during the day. I am debating on maybe getting out of the house by myself tomorrow morning, maybe just to target, I have only left the baby for an hour so far and feel guilty, but I think it will be good for me.

This tea is a serious life saver!!! It's called baby magic tea. It's from secretsoftea.com btu I got mine from Amazon. Helps with Colic, gas, reflux etc. We just add a few spoonfuls to a few of his bottles a day but I believe nursing moms can drink it too and it will still work for the baby. No lie, Maddox went from being the most gassy, upset, terrible sleeper to a super happy, great sleeper in 2 days. Ordered it. I’m at the will try anything point.

The baby is definitely teething. He has spent the last 20 minutes alternating between screaming and chewing on his paci with my finger in the middle of it.

Thank you easternshoregirl maddisonrose! I am thinking maybe his issue is just more of a gas issue then a reflux issue, but I'll keep an eye out for the symptoms you mentioned! sarahh That is so frustrating about the nanny situation! I hope you get your car seat back. Sorry for the rough day tiffbabey! Getting out of the house tomorrow sounds like it would be a nice break- don't feel guilty!!

I want new clothes so bad but why? I'm not going back to work for two months. I'll just wait..
Does anyone use a pacifer as a sleep cue? Talk to me.

OH
I managed to get out with both girls today!
I did target. My oldest has learned the meaning of a target run and it brings me joy. I even took the big potty by myself. Maybe I can do this..
Tomorrow I might see if my mom is up for a visit. She's picked up whatever we have so maybe not. And I'd like to do easter pics of the girls this weekend.

Morale is low in the Bunch household. H is gone and the baby has tolerated being out of my arms not even 60 minutes since 8 am. If i wasn’t living it, I wouldn’t believe it. Big kids have been great. I promised them McDs for lunch tomorrow if they went to bed with no fuss. Happy Meals are in our future.

She’s my first baby to take one but she’s not all in. It’s more in the car or when others are holding her, not a nap or bedtime. I’m ok with it. ETA baby is very hands on so I wouldn’t really emulate what we are doing. I obviously love her but there’s not a lot I’d be trying to replicate right now.

marygracerich I thought I spotted tooth buds yesterday but can’t feel them! 🤷🏼♀️ rebeccabunch I hope you catch a break soon. sunfrogger normally when L is sleepy during the day I stick him in the PNP or swing and just give him the paci and he normally goes to sleep solo. Sometimes he doesn’t want it. MOTN if I already fed him and put him down if he fusses I offer the paci. ETA: sleepy not sleeping
