It is more of a psychological thing that my ped recommended - it keeps my older kids from being resentful that baby is taking away their attention. I know for me I am stressing about what to do if DD1 needs something while I'm nursing Liv? Usually my most stressful times too. On the plus side, DD has become completely autonomous as far as the potty goes since DS was born lol.

This is the 2nd day in a row that I decided to swaddle baby for his nap during DS1's nap. I put him in the auto RNP and after very minimal crying, he fell asleep on his own. I'm in shock. Yesterday he napped in there for 3 hours and today he's going on 2!! Amazing! He slept well last night as well.

We met my friend and her daughter at an indoor play place this morning and DS1 played for almost 3 hours - it was glorious. About to wake both boys from their naps (getting too late for DS1 to be napping) and we're going over to the neighbors house to play. Dinner is in the crockpot so that's all set, too!

I need to get used to putting her down more too, but like you, we are not having anymore so I am trying to enjoy all the snuggles I can. I think my son is probably quite a bit older (4 at the end of May) but I try to make sure he has a snack and his sippy cup is filled before I sit down to nurse. The only bigger issue we have is using the potty, which he does by himself at school but won’t do by himself at home.

Yea. DD1 is 2 and some months - younger than the other 2s in our group - my biggest challenge feels like it will be potty time!

We had a pretty mellow day here and I got lots of snuggles while he took a long nap on me. He is getting cuter and cuter every day 😍 Now if we could get some more stretches of sleep longer than 3 hours that would be great!!

Hey ladies!
Both of the kids are sleeping and I am drinking my coffee waiting for the little to wake. When the big wakes up we are going to walk to grocery store and maybe stop by the park. I am solo again for a few days, Today has been a good day so far. I have plans to drink some prosecco and binge watch tv when I get the kids down later. I really hope that L corporates with my plan, the past couple of days he’s been a nightmare to put to sleep.

Today was a horrible day for J in regard to naps/sleep - he was fighting sleep so bad and couldn’t settle. Now he is extremely overtired and wont fall asleep.

I was crabby all day- hopefully tomorrow is a better day

I posted earlier he was taking a swing nap - it ended up lasting a total of 10 minutes

Convinced DD2 to get her second ear pierced. It was still ridiculous, but dammit it’s done. DD4 is currently asleep on my chest. It’s 8:45. We just can’t get into a good evening groove. We had a few great days, but the evenings are rough again and it’s taking so long to get her to bed at night. I miss my evenings!

This kid has been miserable since 4:30. No amput of eating or burping will help and my boobs are aching from the endless nursing. Fx I get St least a little sleep tonight.

I really miss my evenings, too.  I keep reminding myself that I'll get them back eventually!

When well DH understand that he needs to be on baby duty after big kid bedtime. He DS1 already goes to bed too late and I HAVE to work at night and no matter how many conversations I've had, DH blows out off. Ugh...

Liv is FINALLY asleep. I had to hand her to my H because I needed a cat nap, I was so tired. Holy hell.

I don’t remember this with M but sometimes when L nursing I feel like he’s sucking the energy right out of me. It’s exhausting.

I was supposed to be off work today but ended up having to go in for a few hours and pumped on the way to work. Then I left my milk in the fridge at work when I left. Argh.
