The latest meme I am seeing on FB says, "I don't care who Donald Trump had consensual sex with 11 years ago! We didn't elect him to be our pastor!" :::head explodes::: Ohhhhh.....now they don’t care who has consensual sex. Sure, Jan. SURE.

I'm at work today, so I'm watching the marches unfold on twitter.

The kids and I got out to our local March today. It’s a small town, but there were 50 or so people, which was encouraging. I think I recruited a few ladies for Moms Demand Action, and picked up a voter registration form for my MIL. All in all a success. Good luck to everyone marching today!

Our local march had surprisingly good turnout for being organized just this week! I’m so glad we went, especially since it’s DD’s first birthday today, so I wanted to spend the day with her. 😁 Poof

Ds and I handed out voter registration forms at our local march. This is the best sign I've seen this far.

We are leaving soon for the march in SF, taking the 4 year old in the Tula he hasn’t ridden in in over a year, and somewhat dragging the 8.5 yo who would rather be skating. This is the first march I have felt ok bringing the little one to, now that he’s 4. Hoping the rain stays away!
Oh and also SS11 is in DC at the march with his mom, so that’s super cool. They’re sending us pics, it’s a HUGE crowd!

We're skipping the march today because the weather is atrocious and DD1 was sick almost all week. But I'm definitely thinking of everyone who's out there.
I saw this atrocious meme ragging on Planned Parenthood for supporting the March because it was hypocritical. I'm still raging.

I had a memorial service to attend this morning, but it looks like our local march had almost as big a turn out as the local Women's March. That's amazing. Living in the south, I wasn't expecting that, even if we are a decently progressive city.

Just got back from DC. It was insane (in a good way).
Definitely way more than the first women's march and this march was able to learn from them because this one was so well organized.
The speakers were amazing. We are going to be okay. The kids got this.

I read the DC march had 1M in attendance. I'd believe it.

One of the students from Parkland threw up on the stage in the middle of her speech. The camera have her time to collect herself, the crowd encouraged her and when she was ready she yelled into the mic "I just threw up on national television" lol
Edit: she was one of the students the was shot.

Yes. ☺️ I loved what she said about not being a mouthpiece for an adult. I hope she has parents and so many adults in her life who are proud and supportive of her, though. 💕

I’m getting into a FB right about the second amendment. I should have stayed out of it, but I didn’t.
Ugh, so much rage.

I watched the live feed of the DC March and those kids were so amazing and inspiring. I basically bawled my eyes out for 2 hours, but I feel real hope about the future. I loved that the Parkland students made it inclusive and let other voices in the gun violence epidemic have a voice.
