DH made corned beef and cabbage for Irish Dinner and Dancing with Dad at DD1s preschool. The kids all learned a dance and then performed it and they all are DHs meal. He said she was so cute and excited that he was there.
I’ve been having a lot of ups and downs emotionally being back at work full time. I cried this morning before work just thinking of being away from my girls all day. I know it got better the first time around so I probably just need more time I guess to get used to it again.

Really though, I ran my diffuser with just water & I think the bubbly sound helped him sleep. Hence ordering the sound machine immediately after lol |

Hey there. Today I went to get my hair done and it was the longest I've been away from LO. 3 hours and change. My boobs were like pumpkins. Lol.
I'm soooo dreading being back at work on Monday. Aghhhhh.

Hey there. Today I went to get my hair done and it was the longest I've been away from LO. 3 hours and change. My boobs were like pumpkins. Lol. I'm soooo dreading being back at work on Monday. Aghhhhh. That was me this morning lol. DS didn’t feed well MOTN so by 7:30am I felt like I was going to explode. It’s been awhile since it felt like that lol. |

amesie haha yes. But it took me a second the find the string because it felt pretty swollen. A while back I posted that it really hurts when I spread my legs apart. Not sure if these things are related or not. While I had a csection the baby was almost out and they had to push her back in so I’m not sure if something was damaged or if it’s just normal. I don’t remember having any issues after DD1 but my period came back later than it did this time around. haha ok sounds legit. But I had to ask  I’ve had vaginal births both times and it took months for tampons to feel comfortable so it very well could have been from the baby descending down +1 and will say still is not comfortable from DD1. So...... |

I had a rough evening. After 3 if one kid wasn’t crying, the other was. I am sooooo mentally drained.
I just had a graham cracker and some chocolate milk. I’m now climbing into bed. Don’t I make the healthiest choices? 🙄

I was never able to go back to tampons after DS1 (I got pregnant when he was 10 months old, so this is less dramatic than it sounds). But I think everything down down there just takes longer to fully heal than we may think it does. Even if it’s not painful in general, everything is still going to be extra sensitive to any irritant.
I think the OB who delivered DS1 did a crappy job on my stitches/tear. I had a lot of scar tissue and it was constantly getting irritated. When I went back to see my usual OB when I was pregnant again (different than the guy who delivered) she said it could be fixed but I might as well wait to deliver DS2 and have it done then. It’s already so different. I healed much faster, there isn’t a bunch of extra scar tissue, etc. I’m hoping the problem is solved!

Last night F was up every 3 hours (more frequently than normal) and part of it is that she falls asleep during nursing and doesn't finish and won't take a bottle. I try rubbing her cheeks, playing with her hands and feet, rubbing her belly and she just stays asleep. So I put her back in the RNP where she makes noises but stays asleep until she is hungry again. I also think she may be going through a growth spurt because she is wanting to eat more frequently, but the volume isn't increasing.
She also slept about 1 1/2 hours in the RNP this afternoon (aka NOT IN MY ARMS!!!). I put her down asleep while I took a shower, she woke up and cried while I was still in the bathroom, but she was calm and awake when I got out. I left her in there and she fell asleep and continued to sleep until I woke her up at 5:00 to eat (it had been 5 hour since she last ate).
She has been fussy some this evening but is currently sleeping (and grunting) in the PNP. I'm hoping for longer sleep sessions overnight, but we'll see...
I was pretty productive while she was asleep this afternoon. I showered, put on makeup, changed the sheets and made the bed, did some laundry and transferred my jewelry from my old box to my new one.

DS was a nap machine today!! I’m so happy. He took another 1 hr nap in the PNP in the late afternoon. He’s in bed now so hopefully we get a good night tonight!
