Guys... my baby just slept 8 hours straight! I did wake up on my own after 7 to make sure he was okay. This is probably from him being sick so I won't get used to it.
Yet another pp follow up with the OB. This tear will eventually be healed.

Normal night...great until 4am and then mostly up since then.
We are drastically cutting the toddler's TV time. Yesterday was the first day and we already see an improvement in his mood!
Today I'm taking in some maternity clothes to a consignment shop and then meeting a friend for lunch, with baby of course.

Last night wasn’t terrible for us but it also wasn’t great. Baby ate at 12, 3:30 and woke up at 6 but was fine with just the paci. I stayed awake until 6:30 when we got up.
So I started my first pp period last night. It’s very light. No problem with a regular tampon last night and this morning. I just went to the bathroom at work to change it and since I forgot them at home I used one from the machine (the kind without a plastic applicator). I could not get it in. It’s like I’m super swollen or something. I really hope it’s just the kind I used and there isn’t an issue but it kind of scared me.

Mine woke at 1 and 5 so not terrible. We just dropped off the kids and are going to six flags today. Adults only! Much excite. I'm going to pump before we go and then bring my hand pump. We will see how much my boobs dictate the schedule.

H was up every 2 hours last night. I feel like we are going backwards...
But, he did just fall asleep propped up in the breastfeeding pillow, on the couch beside me. This is the first time he has ever fallen asleep not being held or not in the swing. So I’ll take this as a win!

Curious, how much tv time was he having, and what are you cutting it down to? I don’t *think* DD1 has too much tv time, but her horrible behavior lately has me looking for any and all possible solutions.

She’s so rested that her smiles look cheerful instead of her terrifying smiles like look like she’s up to something sinister

I’ve forgotten to take the old one out before in a half-asleep state of mind 😂🙈

amesie haha yes. But it took me a second the find the string because it felt pretty swollen. A while back I posted that it really hurts when I spread my legs apart. Not sure if these things are related or not. While I had a csection the baby was almost out and they had to push her back in so I’m not sure if something was damaged or if it’s just normal. I don’t remember having any issues after DD1 but my period came back later than it did this time around.

Ugh, it is horrible how much...sometimes in the morning plus after day care pick up (anywhere from 15 min-an hour) then from 6:30 until bedtime. Bedtime varies from 7:30-10 or later, depending on nap. We were just turning it on anytime we were in the house. Now we are limiting to one show after dinner, so about 30 min.
Neither DH nor I are big TV watchers but the combo of my pregnancy and winter were sort of a double whammy.

I need a glass of wine. DD2 slept horribly. It took forever to get her to sleep last night at like 10:30. Then, she was up at 2:30 and didn’t go back to sleep until 5. She ate and then pooped, which takes forever. And after that, she was wide awake 😳. I had to tag MH in because I was getting frustrated. She was up again at like 6:45. I fed her and just put her in the RNP so I could get some sleep. MH took DD2 to school today so I slept until 9:30 which was nice.
DD1 had a doc appt scheduled today for a possible bladder infection. It took us FOUR days to finally get a urine sample from her. We finally got creative and lined the toilet with Saran Wrap 🤣. They just called and the sample was negative. Thank goodness!
I have a funeral to go to tonight and need to figure out what does and doesn’t fit me.

WOW - that was hard, stressful and frustrating.

Crazy how much the baby's mood changes once he is able to get out a lot of gas!

Last night was good for us too! I got a new swaddle me swaddle pod and threw DS2 in there at bedtime. He HATED it at first but I pushed through and little man slept from 8-230. best sleep yet! After that he was really hard to settle into a deep sleep. poor guy has so much gas/tummy pains and spit up it's hard for him.
I researched this magic baby tea that apparently works wonders for colic and gas and also reflux, so thinking about trying it. It's basically organic fennel and chamomile so i'm going to do more research on it and see. MH asked to take the day off tomorrow since he has been working 6 days a week since LO was born and I am sooo excited. Hoping we can get lunch somewhere good and just have a chill day before I am alone with our dragons again on saturday.
Anyone have any st patricks day plans?

DS was great last night too!!! Made it from 10-1:30 in the PNP & woke up stuffy so I moved him to the RNP and he slept more until 4:30 before he was hungry!! Nursed & he slept until 8. Right now I’m trying to encourage him to nap not in his bouncy seat or in my arms. It’s not going well.

We've had a busy day so far here. I took both kids to Michael's so that DS could do a craft, and I walked around with DD in the stroller. Then we went to the barber shop to get DS a haircut. Back home for lunch, and some colouring for DS. And I just finished making some muffins. Thank goodness DH works from home, so he fed DD while I ate.
We have chiro tonight, and DH has French class right afterwards, so I'm taking both kids out for supper at a sit down restaurant. It will be much easier than either making supper or doing fast food.

But I had to ask I’ve had vaginal births both times and it took months for tampons to feel comfortable so it very well could have been from the baby descending down

DS had school today for the first time in over a week due to snow. The baby didn’t sleep that great last night and then we had to get up before 7 to get DS to school. I brought the baby to the mall to pick up our photos from JC Penney and now we’re home relaxing until we have to pick up DS.

Morning! Just on our way home from the city. N had her two month checkup and immunizations today. Up to 12 lbs 4 oz and 24” so up about 3.5 lbs and 3” from birth! Here she is playing with the fun baby she met in the mirror waiting for our doctor lol. H was able to take off this morning too so he could take the big two out for errands while we waited at the office. So nice to get some other stuff picked up and done too!
