The Trying to Conceive After a Loss thread is posted once a week (generally on Tuesday) for those of us who have unfortunately experienced a loss. No matter what type of loss you've experienced, from miscarriage to stillbirth to the loss of a child, it is heartbreaking. This thread is to help us commiserate, get support, and to try to navigate trying to conceive, after a loss, every week.
Out of respect to all the ladies here, please add a trigger warning if you decide to talk about any living children and please hide your signature if it contains pictures or tickers of babies or children. We also kindly ask for grads to refrain from commenting in this thread.
If you get a BFP, kindly either spoiler alert it or do not post it here at all.
**If this is your first check-in, and you would like to provide a gtky loss history intro go for it. If not, no worries!**
How are you doing?

How are you doing? Feeling low because it's not going to be this month. H's deadline was on Monday so he was really stressed last week. Life's like that sometimes.
Status (TTA, TTC, Benched): TTC
Diagnosis (if applicable): N/a
Updates/questions: I've decided to get some opks. It feels as though I'm doing something even though I'm not really - I know when I O. But this feels positive, and feelings matter.
Debbie downer (a place to vent ): Bleargh. No additional vents. This is a tough journey.

How are you doing? OK
Status (TTA, TTC, Benched): TTC
Diagnosis (if applicable): NA
Updates/questions: I don't know. Nothing I guess.
Debbie downer (a place to vent ) : Focusing on getting back in shape. I'm going to trust my fertility monitor for our timing...so I hope it's not totally wrong. Starting EOD tomorrow maybe...depending on my reading in the morning. I'm hoping I O before Monday so we'll be done trying for this cycle before the end of the break.

purple Feelings are super imprtant. I have a fertility monitor, OPKs, I temp and despite all this I know on my own from CM when my FW is. Don't care. It all makes me feel like I'm doing something. I get the work stress. SO has a super high stress job which is why I'm not super hopeful things will ever work out for us. And his stress gets me stressed. So that's why my focus is going towards other things now.

How are you doing? I'm feeling hopeful about this cycle. My problem isn't getting pregnant, but staying pregnant. Seeing that BFP is just as scary as it is exciting. I'm trying to stay hopeful, but also be realistic about the possibility of loss.
Status (TTA, TTC, Benched): TTC
Diagnosis (if applicable): N/A
Updates/questions: I have had most of the RPL testing done. My estrogen came back a little high, but my RE said it's nothing to worry about. I know Dr. Google isn't always right, but it said that high estrogen can be a result of diminished ovarian reserve so there's that. I'm just trying to listen to my RE and KOKO.
Debbie downer (a place to vent ) : My sister-in-law just gave birth yesterday and I held her newborn in the hospital. It made me so happy for, but so sad for myself. I just want it to be my turn.

I could have written these very words. wildhoney, I hope we both get to stay pregnant sooner rather than later.

How are you doing? Okay at this moment
Status (TTA, TTC, Benched): TTC
Diagnosis (if applicable): unexplained secondary IF
Updates/questions: CD1!!! If FF is right then I O'd on CD12 and had an 11 day LP, that would be an earlier O for me but not crazy (I think I could have O'd between cd12-14 which would make my LP on the short side). In any case I O'd!! On my own, a regular cycle. Which means we get to move on to IUI, just scheduled my ultrasound for CD13 and crossing all things that my body doesn't jump the gun and O earlier.
Debbie downer (a place to vent): nada right now

charliefox an 11 day LP sounds great! Mine has FINALLY lengthened to 11 days. If it makes you feel better about it my LP with both my pregnancies was only 8 days.

I already posted this on TFAS but looks like testing this month will fall on my EDD. Blah. I'm feeling good about this cycle though. The talk SO and I had relieved a lot of the stress. Hopefully I won't have to see a BFN on that day.
