Age of LO(s): 2.5
Month/Cycle: 11/10
CD/DPO: 26/5
Timing: -4, -2
RRCS: feeling like of course this month will be another bust, but maybe it will happen at some point? I'll be shocked if it ever really happens. But, it certainly could, so I should be positive.

Age of LO(s): 2 3/4
Month/Cycle: 25 / 3AL
CD/DPO: CD 15.
Timing: We missed the boat this month because of H's stress at work.
RRCS: See timing. Definitely nobody's fault. But I've just ordered some opks from Amazon. I do know my cm and I know when I'm ovulating. So in a way it's a waste of money. But right now I feel that a visual confirmation that it's really happening will give me more confidence, and that's worth it to me.

Age of LO(s): 5.5
Month/Cycle: 16?/17?
CD/DPO: 25/14
Timing: IUI after trigger shot two weeks ago
RRCS: anxiously awaiting the outcome of this cycle. BFN on a test at 12dpo. It feels like AF will be here pretty much any minute, but it’s felt like that for 36hrs. Get on with it, AF. If it still hasn’t come by tonight, I’ll buy some more tests and POAS tomorrow morning. I’m not optimistic about this cycle because H’s sperm count was off the charts low at this IUI, so I’d just like to get this one over with.
A random: There are two moms of kids in DD’s class who are pregnant right now, due this summer, and both have toddlers as well. Every time the parents from this class are together there’s lots of jokes about how these two moms starting over when everyone else is moving out of the baby years. I haven’t told anybody IRL were trying, and I feel like a total alien whenever these jokes start up. Like not only am I a year away from restarting the baby years but I don’t even have a toddler to bridge the gap.

shakinros I completely understand your feelings and know how crap it is. Everyone in my life just assumes we are done trying because of how traumatic our loss was and how long it took me to recover physically...that and DD's age...and our ages. Blah. I was swimming with DD yesterday (parent and tot swim) and every mom there had a little one plus a baby or was pregnant.

Yogurt Sorry for how you're feeling. But I get it. Honestly I'm just going on the assumption that it's not going to happen, then if it does Yay! But if not then it's what I'm expecting anyways.

Age of LO(s): 4
Month/Cycle: 14/6AL
CD/DPO: 8/--
Timing: NA
RRCS: We were going to start EOD tonight but I'm going to hold off until I see a high reading. Of course I got high and peak both in the same day last cycle...but I feel like I've got at least a day or two. Our best time is always the first in a cycle so I don't want to waste it if it's too far from O.

Wow, sometimes I really hate the timehop feature on FB. At this time in 2012 I was 9 weeks pregnant with DD. Straight knife to the heart. I'm hopeful I'll get my BFP in 2 weeks. Which also happens to be a day before my birthday.

Age of LO(s): 2 and 3 – my 3 year old is turning 4 on Monday!
Month/Cycle: 9/9
CD/DPO: WTO CD12
Timing: Not sure yet. I absolutely hate waiting for OPKs to turn positive.
RRCS: I have so much hope on this cycle. TW: I have had 2 CPs this year and this will be the last cycle that will result in a pregnancy for 2018. I don’t know why I’m putting so much pressure on myself for it to be 2018. I know it doesn’t matter in the long run. *Sigh*

I'm thinking of ordering the tempdrop, which is like ava, but $100 cheaper. My husband mentioned the bbt beeping driving him nuts. Will a tempdrop armband make me seem more or less over the top? It would reduce the stress of me having to temp. It's $150, but it seems like it might be worth it.

My husband also hates when I temp. I keep wanting to buy an armband, but I keep thinking this will be my month... every month. I should have just ordered it 9 months ago. I don't think it will make you seem over the top. If you think it will reduce your stress, I say get it. TTC is enough stress as it is.

purple, I thought I knew when I was ovulating, but I was way off after ordering the OPKs. I get EWCM waaaay before O. Hopefully they will help you. That's another reason for getting them. I used to get positive okps slightly before the ewcm and that's what I've been going on, but actually, L is nearly three and I've had five more pregnancies. My body may well have changed in that time. Of course, since the problem is staying pregnant rather than getting pregnant, part of me still feels I'm wasting money and time. But a) a bigger part of me wants to feel I'm doing something, and b) it's £26. I'm not breaking the bank.

Month/Cycle: 19/3 AL
CD/DPO: cd1
Timing: n/a
RRCS: AF showed up so we're onto our first IUI cycle! I was a little hopeful that maybe last cycle would just magically work on it's own, however I'm not as sad as I thought I would be that it didn't because now we're doing treatments and I feel like some of the pressure is off.

Do you think buying another thing to use for TTC would annoy him or would he like the fact that it's less effort/less involved? Honestly, do whatever you want and feel comfortable with, if you think the tempdrop would be better than temping then do it.

Will he be glad for no more bbt beeping, or will he think it's even more ridiculous? I am going to mention to him today that i am thinking about getting one, just do i dont have to think about it as much. I sleep with a big sweater on 99% of the time anyway.

Yogurt You're welcome to my AVA. I bought it new but only wore it like 5 times since I'm super allergic to it. PM me if you're interested. I just might not have the box...DD was playing with it one day so it might have gone walking...

So looking at this cycle...if I end up Oing around my normal time then I'll be hpt testing on my EDD. Not sure how I feel about that. I'm already feeling a little more emotional than I thought I would as it gets closer...it's going to be extra sucky if I get a BFN or AF that day.

Ha, so my husband kissed me goodbye and was all, so, are you pregnant yet? I know that sounds weird, and I'd want to punch pretty much anyone else that asked that.
However he said it in a playful way which at least felt like he's into this whole thing. As in, he brought up the topic of precnancy, instead of hoping it goes away or something. It was good. Plus I mentioned the tracking bracelet and how it would be easier and not beeping and he was all, sounds great. So that's good.

I'm so optimistic for you that you'll have some happy news soon. I'd be happy to explain IUI (intrauterine insemination) is just where they put H's sperm directly into my uterus in hopes that more make it to the egg. We are also doing a trigger shot, once my doc makes sure I have a good sized follicle (egg) then I will administer a shot to myself that night which will force me to ovulated, then we go back the next day to do the actual IUI. We could do an IUI without the trigger shot but it just helps us make sure we got the timing right. If this first IUI cycle doesn't work then we do more IUIs but will add in a drug that helps my follicles grow, hopefully forcing 2-3 mature follicles per cycle rather than the normal 1, which will again up our chances. There is obviously a chance of getting pregnant with multiples when using those drugs which is why we really wanted to start with just a regular IUI first, mostly to make ourselves feel like we tried before we took that risk.
