LO(s) age? : 4 1/2 weeks
How are you?: I’m doing good. Going from 0 to 1 kid was a lot more of an adjustment than 1 to 2.
Milestones or Challenges: trying to get out the door with both girls by myself can be a challenge.
Questions: I can’t remember...is it 2 or 3 shots at the 2 month?
GTKY: I’ve been watching A&E junk or documentaries. Teen mom. I wish I was reading a good true crime for MOTN. Suggestions welcome.

LO(s) age ? : 8 weeks
How are you?: I'm ok. Super sad about returning to work next week. Sad that I'll have to start pumping. I'll miss being with my sweet boy so much.
Milestones or Challenges: I have been ok with MOTN wake ups but I'm worried about the challenge of sleep deprivation while working. I've done it before so I know it will be fine. But still.
Questions: None really.
GTKY: What are you currently watching and/or reading? I just finished Queer Eye on Netflix. And now I'm watching The Mortified Guide. So funny!!

Age: 2w tomorrow
Me? I'm okay. I'm not feeling the huge hormone dump I had with DD1. Maybe bc MH is still home? I'm an experienced mom? Idk. I'm tired but I'm managing way better than I thought I would.
Milestone: our 2w appt is tomorrow and I'm hoping to get the OK to let her wake herself at night to eat. Still struggling with days and nights here but, last night in the bassinet our stretches were about what I expected.
GTKY : I'm reading my school book 😅

LO(s) age ? : 14 weeks - or 1 month adjusted
How are you?: I'm OK. But I would be better if DD would sleep better.
Milestones or Challenges:
Milestone: DD is now over 8lbs - actually 8lbs6oz. She has now outgrown most of the nb sized pjs.
challenge : gas and reflux have been making it harder for DD to sleep solidly. We've inclined her crib and changed her iron to reduce both, so fingers crossed she settles easier again soon.
Questions:
GTKY: What are you currently watching and/or reading? I've been watching lots of netflix, and now I'm watching "good eats" on the cooling channel.

LO(s) age ? : 9.5 weeks
How are you?: great minus the not so good night sleeping and my post partum lowerback/hip pain
Milestones or Challenges: Challanges are not having the best night sleeper and managing two kids this time around plus trying to fit in me time. Milestones : M is such a happy interactive baby! It makes me so happy that almost immediately when I come near him or start to talk to him he smiles soooo big and coos in a conversation style manner. I can already tell my kids will be so different. All DS1 did was sleep and eat until he was like 6 months old lol
Questions: I'm sure it's normal but M spits up soooo much still. Weve had a lot of tummy issues already but man I want to stop carrying a bajillion burp blankets around. Is this normal*ish* for an almost 10 week old?
GTKY: What are you currently watching and/or reading? Sad but im not currently reading anything or watching. The new girl is my go to when I have a few minutes by myself

LO(s) age ? : 2 months today!
How are you?: I’m ok. She’s a pretty chill baby.
Milestones or Challenges: Baby E slept 8 hours uninterrupted last night! 9:45-5:45. Then slept again till 9. So, getting enough sleep is awesome and helps with the real challenge, which is my 2yo. She hits the baby every day, often just out of nowhere and while I’m already giving her attention, like reading her a story. WHY?? She’s just very very difficult right now. Acting out all over the place.
Questions: what double stroller does anyone recommend? I need to look into getting one. And I need one with strap-in seats for both kids (not just the toddler standing bar option) because DD1 is a runner.
GTKY: What are you currently watching and/or reading? LOL to reading these days. Would be nice! I recently watched the first three seasons of How to Get Away with Murder, and now am just waiting for the fourth to come on Netflix.

How are you?: pretty good
Milestones or Challenges: the baby started daycare yesterday. He is doing well so far and we are working on streamlining drop off and pick ups. The toddler is the challenge here too. Mostly boundary pushing especially at bedtime
Questions: I need to figure out pumping at work. what is/was your schedule?
GTKY: What are you currently watching and/or reading? the reboot of one day at a time on Netflix, also just finished queer eye

How are you?: Doing so much better then I was expecting! I psyched myself up for the worst but everything has been going really well.
Milestones or Challenges: He’s just starting to smile a little bit which is adorable. Breastfeeding was really challenging at the beginning because my milk never came in. It was really the unsolicited advice I got from people that was the issue. But I’ve now managed to block those people out and am loving the easiness of formula. H will still nurse once or twice a day for a short time which can be helpful to calm down if he’s cranky.
Questions: For anyone with older children, how long did it take for their baby acne to clear up?
GTKY: What are you currently watching and/or reading? I just read the book memoir by Rachael Jeffs, the daughter of Warren Jeffs. It was incredibly interesting but hard to get through at the same time because of all the abuse.

LO(s) age ? : 7weeks tomorrow How are you?: better each day! DD1’s attitude has been improving, which has helped my attitude. I’ve adjusted to the lack of sleep and I’ve been having tons of energy lately which has been awesome. I’m doing better juggling the 2 kids and taking them out of the house. I started working out today which felt great. Overall, I’m feeling more and more like myself each day. Now if this GD snow would just GTFO so we can go for more walks and play outside I’d be doing much better!!! Milestones or Challenges: I’ve been having some resentful feelings towards MH lately. I’m irritated that he’s able to do whatever the eff he wants whenever he wants to without a care in the world. He gets a daily shower in peace, where my showers are completely rushed and then have to quickly get out to dry my hair and I am usually met at the doorway with a fussy baby 🙄 My pee breaks are even rushed!! Ugh. I almost left the house yesterday without brushing my teeth because I didn’t have time. I think sarahh you’ve mentioned this before about being resentful towards YH. I should probably talk to him about it. Questions: Nothing as of right now. I did have a question about DD2’s green poop, but I asked it yesterday in the randoms. GTKY: What are you currently watching and/or reading? Gossip girl!! It’s so good

DS1 still spit up after almost every feed until 4-5 months I think, DS2 only spits up every few days but when he does it is exorcist style I got a britax b ready 2nd hand. I don't love it so far, but we don't have a britax car seat. DS 1 never liked the stroller til he could sit up and DS2 seems to be following suit

bassa we have the city mini double and I LOOOOOOVE it. I didn’t know i could lust after a stroller until I go it haha. It rides like a dream flippinchica ugh I’m dreading the whole pumping at work thing. I’m a nurse and usually work 7-3, which is the busiest shift. With DD1 I changed jobs when she was 5months old and I had to cut down to 1 pump session at work because I just didn’t have time. I got clogged ducts all the time because of it which totally sucked. I’m hoping I’ll be able to get 2 pump sessions in once I do go back. I’ll only be working 1-2 days a week anyway so I hope it won’t be the end of the world if I can’t fit in 2 pump breaks. I’ll definitely have to strategize to fit it in

I had the resentment reallllllly bad with DS1(it really added to me PPD/PPA), just because it was so shocking having my whole life turned around with a new baby whereas H's life only changed between the hours of 4-8pm. I still struggle with it this pregnancy but for some reason I am able to cope with it somewhat better. I would definitely suggest talking to him about it, even if things don't change (which i'm sure they will to a degree) just the talking and getting it out there might make you feel better. I always joke that I want to be reincarnated as a man because clearly life is easier as one Hopefully things get easier for you, and it becomes easier to set aside concrete time to yourself. Hugs, it's definitely not easy

Hugs, it's definitely not easy oh maybe it was you who mentioned it before! Sorry sarahh for the random page haha! But yes, his life has barely changed. And honestly, I’m not sure how much he can really do about it. I think a lot of it is just par for the course for being the primary parent and the one with the milk boobs. There’s only so much soothing DD will take from him before she wants me, ya know? It’s just frustrating. And I think a lot of my resentment is unfair because of the fact that there’s not much he can do about it. ETA I think there are definitely areas where he can step it up some and open his eyes when I’m drowning and he’s trying to send a work email that can CLEARLY wait 10 min so he can help me. So I definitely will be talking to him about it.

How are you?: Tired, lol. But starting to feel like every week adjusting and managing everything is feeling more normal and routine.
Milestones or Challenges: I just had a feelings dump on my other BMB, but the gist is I’ve decided I need to start combo ff/bfing and see where it goes from there. I’ve come to accept BFing just is not an joyful emotionally connective feeling for me and I remember how much more happy I felt after switching my other two to formula around 6-8 months and I just don’t see the point in pushing myself to make it that far this time when I have two bigger ones I’m emotionally and physically drained for, and a baby I am so in love with that I know it’s ok to just make sure she’s fed no matter how it happens.
Questions: Not at the moment! Just have her 2 month appt and immunizations on Thursday so it will be good to see my dr again.
GTKY: What are you currently watching and/or reading? Watching New Girl and Big Brother Canada!

I'm going to try to pump on my commute and at lunch and see how that goes. I plan to use the spectra at work and the medela in my car since I bough an adaptor.

Maybe I’ll try to do that. Only curve ball is if dd is awake to feed before I leave. Sigggh. I think I’ll have to play around with it to see what works. My heavy medication pass is in the morning. I typically don’t finish till around 1030-11, and it’s nearly impossible to step away from that until all my patients get their meds, since 99% of them need their pain meds before working with physical therapy. I’m getting stressed now just thinking about all this haha

LO(s) age ? : 7 weeks tomorrow
How are you?: Pretty good, back to pre-pregnancy weight and back in my regular clothes (belly still a little squishy). Using my abs is still difficult, not sure what is c-section related and what is just normal PP recovery. It is a ton better than hugely pregnant, but I notice some movements are harder than they should be, but not impossible.
Milestones or Challenges: We have had a few smiles, but not a lot yet. She still sleeps a lot during the day but she usually sleeps good at night so I'm guessing I shouldn't be worried. She will track objects with her eyes and head.
Questions: How often should a 7 week old be awake and how long?
GTKY: What are you currently watching and/or reading? Other than my normal shows I just sit and stare at HGTV or TLC most of the day. I'm not sure I have the brain capacity to take in a new show...

He is 11w tomorrow.
I am ok. I have about 18lbs to go for be at pre-pregnancy weight. I am working on that now. I am starting to manage both kiddos somewhat efficiently but I am still terrified to take them both out at once by myself.
Little man smiles and giggles a bit. It’s super cute. He is also big enough for his sit me up now so that makes my life easier. The only challenge I am facing now is taking my first trip out of the house with both of them. I know I could do it but I am worried about doing so.
No questions right now.
I read a few books since the baby has been born. I read Carrie Fishers Wishful Drinking, all 3 50 shades books and I am on book 5 of the Harry Potter series. For tv I have been watching a lot of reality stuff like teen mom, sister wives and counting on. MH and I are also going through Law and Order SVU from the beginning. We are up to season 6.

LO(s) age ? : 2 1/2 weeks
How are you?: I’m doing pretty good. Recovery has been easier than than with DS. Today has been rough, she’s been very needy and wanting to eat a lot. DS has been super cranky and wanting me to do things he can easily do himself( he’s almost 4.) But overall, the transition from 1 to 2 has been pretty easy.
Milestones or Challenges: We have her two week appointment tomorrow, so hopefully she should be over her birth weight and I can let her sleep at night. Not that she is going to give me long stretches but at least I won’t feel guilty for going over three hours.
GTKY: What are you currently watching and/or reading? I’ve been reading a lot while feeding her in the middle of the night to stay awake. I’ve read the Stillhouse Lake series by Rachel Caine and started the Everything series by Kerry Lonsdale. I would recommend both but they are very different. I’ve just been watching my regular shows, This is Us, Grey’s, the Good Doctor, and started watching Party of Five.

LO(s) age ? : 11 weeks tomorrow How are you?: Okay. I’ve been back at work for almost 2 weeks now so I’m still adjusting to that. DH starts his new job tomorrow after having worked for himself for the past year at home so this will be an adjustment for us since he will still continue with his own business after hours. Milestones or Challenges: Baby is still sleeping the same as she did as a newborn which is getting frustrating. I’m groggy at work and have like no memory. Something has got to give. Questions: so don’t laugh but is it completely absurd to think that my baby may be teething? She is super drooly lately and keeps biting on her hands. I don’t feel anything in her mouth but DH is convinced that he does. DD1 got her first tooth at 5 months. GTKY: What are you currently watching and/or reading? Before bed I watch married at first sight, any of the Chicago shows (med, pd or fire), hgtv Reno shows, teen mom or the resident (just started this one and it’s so good. Has Logan from Gilmore girls - maybe you’d like it dragonflyinn 😂)

bassa we have 2 doubles - a double bob and a uppababy vista. I think the bob will be better when baby is older. We love the vista. We have the rumble seat for the toddler and bought the glider board for when she doesn’t want to sit. My oldest is also a runner and hates being strapped in anything but having the two options has worked for us so far and especially on our trip a few weeks back to DC.

LO(s) age ? :
He will be 7 weeks on Thursdays
How are you?:
Tired. J isn't the best sleeper. I was hoping by now, he would be giving us a little bit longer stretches at night. He also fights sleep during the day SOOO bad. Majority of his naps are in my arms. I still try to get some naps in the RNP or the crib - sometimes I a successful.
Milestones or Challenges:
I am anxiously waiting for the social smiles. :-) Challenges are the sleep issues with J and adjustment issues with our 4 year old.
Questions:
I just posted a thread about formula.
GTKY: What are you currently watching and/or reading?
The shows I normally watch are This is Us, Grey's Anatomy, How to Get Away with Murder, Scandal and Teen Mom. The new shows I started watching during maternity leave are "Naked and Afraid" and Roseanne. I also watch a lot of HGTV

LO(s) age ? : 2 months tomorrow!
How are you?: I’m so tired. I realized I’m also about 1000 calories short of what I should be eating (if I’m also exercising which I started back to three weeks ago). It makes sense, I’ve jusy felt worn down & haven’t had energy to eat (bc I’m not eating enough!! Vicious cycle). The last two days I consciously ate like double what I had been & by he end of today I was ravenously eating everything I could find. Which seems more like what I remember BF-ing to be like. DS sleeps like a dream so that’s awesome. We are hitting our stride as far as routine goes with him & DD. She is the real challenge, almost 3yo and a little monster.
Milestones or Challenges: DS has had a cold so that stinks. Otherwise he is great, gives me so many big grins all the time & I love it!! We have been lax on tummy time but he is getting really strong anyway.
Questions:
GTKY: What are you currently watching and/or reading? I recently finished “Sisters First” by the Bush twins and the last few weeks I’ve been catching up on all the books my class read this quarter while I was on leave. Gotta know what they’re talking about when I lead discussions lol.

LO(s) age ? : Three weeks
How are you?: Tired but managing. It’s been easier to adjust to baby #2, especially since DH is 100% more useful this time around since he actually gets how long a day with a baby can be, and he’s way more comfortable and functional than he was with DS1 when we were both totally new to babies.
Milestones or Challenges: I’m going to introduce a bottle tomorrow in hopes of being able to go out with DH later this week without worrying about a time limit.
Questions: I wish I had a better sense of when DS was hungry and when he’s just comfort nursing. He’s started spitting up more and I feel like it is partly because he will overeat just to be nursing.
GTKY: What are you currently watching and/or reading? I’ve read approximately a million trashy romance novels in the last three weeks to pass the time during nursing sessions (I read on my phone). I’ve been watching Greaf British Bake Off: Masterclass and Family Cooking Showdown on Netflix as well. I’m going to try to find some HGTV stuff online, because that will fulfill my requirements for 4am breastfeeding (requires no brainpower, I can space out for chunks and not miss anything essential).
