Trying to catch up around here... bassa we have a City Select and a double BOB. I like them both for a variety of reasons. Generally I keep the select in my car and the BOB lives in the garage. I wouldn’t want to take long walks with the Select because of the length of the in-line makes the front end hard to manage if the road isn’t flat. cake we’re still dealing with pretty terrible baby acne at 8.5 weeks. My older three never had it so I don’t have any insight on when it might clear up. aprilz81 let me see if I can find the chart I used as a guide, but we roughly follow an eat wake sleep routine between the hours of 7 am-9pm, and she’s usually awake about an hour and fifteen.

LO(s) age ? : 8.5 weeks
How are you?: Really good. A gigantic factor in that is baby actually sleeps. I truly cannot tell you the difference it makes. In general she is just a content kiddo for most of the day. My kids have handled the transition well. And my parents have been a huge huge help.
Milestones or Challenges: Our biggest challenges are me over thinking everything and her spitting up giant puddles all the damn time. I’m sure transitioning out of the RnP will be a challenge, but right now I’m just going to enjoy my sleep (she did 9:15pm to 7:15am last night!). Oh so far she hasn’t accepted a bottle, but we haven’t tried too hard either. Since I SAH it’s not a huge deal, but DD3 absolutely would not and it made any attempted extended time away super stressful. So we were just attached at the hip for like a year.
Questions: My milk doesn’t look all that fatty when I pump it out. Normal, or do I need to do something about it? Is the fact that it seems more light the reason she spits up so much? Overthinking this one too. Lol.
GTKY: What are you currently watching and/or reading? I’m pretty basic. Don’t watch a ton of TV. This is Us and Greys Anatomy. I like Game of Thrones a lot. We recently watched Pitch Perfect 3.

ajetter if it looks thin it might all be foremilk. Are you getting just the top off of or a full pump? I notice when I'm more engorged I had thinner milk. Also the fat content you produce may be totally normal. If she's gaining fine I wouldn't worry about it. Everyone produces different milk! kellymom.com/bf/got-milk/basics/foremilk-hindmilk/

LO(s) age ? : She was 4 weeks on Monday!
How are you?: I’m exhausted. Having 2 kids has been an adjustment. Plus, MH hasn’t been able to really help much over the last couple of weeks due to illness. Otherwise, I’m good!
Milestones or Challenges: We transitioned DD2 to her crib for sleeping at night and I think she loves her crib. She’ll immediately calm down when she’s in her swaddle up. Some challenges: getting used to the paci. We have a 2 story home so there’s lots of trips upstairs when she spits out the paci and she starts screaming. I kind of lose my mind sometimes, but I’m hoping it gets better. 🤞🏻
Questions: Does anyone’s LO have cradle cap? DD2 is losing her hair and has super scaly skin on top. I brush her head with a soft brush and I’m going to put some baby oil on it tomorrow. Unless there’s something else that’s better?
GTKY: What are you currently watching and/or reading? I’m binge watching Shameless right now. It took me a while to get into it, but I love the Gallagher family...in a total dysfunctional way 🤪

flippinchica with DS1 I EPed and only had to pump twice a day 10 and 3pm because I had a huge supply. This time since I'm BFing I plan to start pumping at 9, 12 and 3pm and drop the 12 once my body can do that comfortably.

bassa, I just scored a Joovy ultralight at a mom to Mom sale. It has the stand option, but also a buckle to put around them while sitting. I haven’t used it yet, but all the reviews I’ve read were positive. I can’t wait to use it when the weather gets warmer for our zoo trips.

mrsp84 my DD2 has cradle cap too. We have been putting olive oil on it then using a little scrubber to gently massage it on/loosen the flakes. Then after washing we are using Mustela foam which was recommended by my sister. I’m not sure it’s really working but I guess it isn’t getting worse. My DD1 had it as a baby too so I really just think it needs to run its course.

mrsp84 dd’s Cradle cap isn’t bad but I rubbed coconut oil into her scalp and then brushed it with the super gentle soft bristle baby brush to loosen it up and then combed it out with a fine tooth comb. I did the same for DD1 when she got a little bit of it. Worked great!

I did the same for DD1 when she got a little bit of it. Worked great! I was wondering if coconut oil would work. I had a super dry scalp last year and put that on my head before washing and it worked wonders. I’ll have to try that today. Thanks!

LO(s) age?: 5.5 weeks.
How are you?: I'm okay-good. I have my 6 week visit next week along with an appt. to get new thyroid med. I'm looking forward to feeling more like myself. My ft3 and ft4 levels are low and I really feel it. Things are good on the baby front. I just want my energy back, and for the joint and muscle aches to go away.
Milestones or Challenges: He's smiled a few times. I've started pumping a couple times a day because he was spitting up the formula we gave him. He's not spitting up on the breastmilk and new formula. (I combo feed because I nurse from my left and don't usually make a full supply without a lot of supply-building, which I haven't wanted to do) I'll likely continue pumping a couple feedings to help maintain a decent supply.
Questions: Nope.
GTKY: What are you currently watching and/or reading? Ready Player One.
