When is your due date? How far along are you? Due date is estimated November 15, I am 4 weeks 4 days. How big is baby? The size of a poppy seed. Team Finding Out/ Team Green? Finding out! Any Upcoming Appointments? Yes, today is my first appointment! I'm so nervous. Symptoms: I'm exhausted and naseous. Otherwise I feel alright. Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? None right now.

When is your due date? How far along are you? October 31, 6 weeks 5 days
How big is baby? Blueberry
Team Finding Out / Team Green? Team finding out. Although my two year old yesterday told me that the baby photo of her that is my home screen on my phone is "baby sister"... my gut feeling has been that this is a girl, but I know that gut feeling is very unscientific. I was against finding out (husband insists), but I didn't feel strongly either way with our team green baby, so it's probably good he is so set on it!
Any Upcoming Appointments? Tomorrow evening we're going on a hospital tour of the medical center I could potentially deliver at if I go with the local OB/Midwife practice. My other option is a 45 minute drive to the birth center where Nugget was born, which I loved. If I get a bad feeling about the hospital, I'm canceling next week's appointment with the OB/Midwife practice and just going with the birth center practice.
Symptoms: Peeing all the time, mild nausea, heartburn, sleeping sucks.
Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? It's National Napping day and I really need a nap......

When is your due date? How far along are you? Not positive, thinking mid November, probably in week 4.
How big is baby? Sawdust
Team Finding Out / Team Green? Will find out for sure. I have no will power.
Any Upcoming Appointments? I haven't actually called the office yet 😬 I was supposed to wait one cycle before trying again so I don't want her to yell at me 😂 (I know she won't really). I'll probably call at the end of the week.
Symptoms: Tired, angry all the time for no reason, and a little nauseous in the mornings.
Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? None right now.

Due date? 11/1 (6w4d)
We are team green. We found out with my DS, which was great, but I think this is our last baby so I’d like to be surprised this time.
My intake appt is not for nearly a month.
Symptoms: Tired AF in the afternoons, yet I have been waking up at 4:48AM almost every morning for no reason. 😑 also, emotional.

When is your due date? How far along are you? Nov 8ish, 5&4
How big is baby? A #2 pencil eraser, apparently
Team Finding Out / Team Green? I'm gonna find out so hard. I really want a girl (I have a son) but also having another boy seems easier and I have better boy names...
Any Upcoming Appointments? Nov 29th - it sounded like they'll do an ultrasound, since she said they like to make sure I'm far enough along to see something. Last time I bled so much my OB had given me three ultrasounds by then (never found a real issue, baby was okay) but this time has been smooth.
Symptoms: So tired. Almost fell asleep at work on Thursday. I've peed three times today at work, which is on a different floor, so is inconvenient. I'm also generally not hungry but also not nauseated.
Rants/Raves/AW/Questions?: I can't remember when I started to grow last time. I could only find a photo from like 18 weeks. I don't want people to start guessing before I announce. Also I don't have summer maternity clothes so I'm mostly preoccupied with how I'll dress for work.

Oh to add to my rants/raves/AW/questions section:
My parents are coming to visit at about 9weeks. This would fall during the time I had pretty bad nausea and migraines with DS. I’m hoping to avoid that this time, as we don’t plan to announce until June or July.

Any Upcoming Appointments? April 3rd - I'm hoping they do a dating ultrasound
Symptoms: overactive gag reflex and soooo tiiirred
Rants/Raves/AW/Question? I get anxious every time I feel better, even though I know I should savor those moments. Who'd of thought I'd ever find slight nausea comforting?

Last time I didn't get nauseous which was unsettling after my first with DD where I was throwing up every day pretty early on. The slight nausea all day now is comforting in a weird way.

eleephant how'd your appointment go yesterday? Hey thanks for asking pambee it went really well! I did my blood draw and set up an appointment for my first ultrasound on April 12. I did not get to meet any of the OBs today. There is 5 and they rotate. I'm a bit nervous about that since my other 3 were born in a small town with a Certified Midwife. Overall though it went good.

pambee, My OB also told me to wait a cycle to start trying again, but in the same breath said if anything happened it'd be safe. She made it seem it was just more difficult to date the pregnancy. Hopefully your OB will feel similarly when you end up calling ;-)

Hopefully your OB will feel similarly when you end up calling ;-) Thank you for that. My dr said to wait but she didn't really go into detail about it and so I went to Dr Google (I know I know) afterwards who told me it was primarily for dating purposes so...I decided we'd just see what happened. My doctor really is amazing so I don't think she's going to really even make a deal of it, but I'll still feel guilty because *I* know that I didn't follow her recommendation. Because I like to torture myself over thinking things like this, lol.

Hospital tour was really really great and helped to quash some of my anxiety about switching to this new practice closer to home. I was the only one not visibly pregnant on the tour, but the woman giving the tour (who is also an LC), was great at answering my questions. It's a baby-friendly hospital, with a lot of things that are standard policy that I would have asked for anyway (like 2 hours skin-to-skin after birth before moving out of recovery, they don't take your baby out of the room unless there is a medical need, no bath till at least 8 hours old, wireless fetal monitoring, no official hospital policies on food during labor or requiring IVs, etc). And they have tubs for laboring, which I loved at the birth center.
I'm hoping that I like this midwife/OB practice at my appointment next week, although I did get a rec from one of the other moms on the tour for an alternate midwife practice that delivers at the same hospital if I don't mesh well with the one I'm going to.
