J pulls that crap all the time! When they start sleeping better at night naps get a bit messed up. If J makes it all night he takes 1 long nap or two shorter ones. If he doesn't it's 3 naps for any amount of time. Kinda of over it...

Still no teeth for A. And he’s entering leap 6. I’m not ready for this yet again. I really hope it doesn’t affect his nighttime sleep. 🤞🏼

R fought her third nap hard, because we were out and she got a quick cat nap on the car ride home - she seriously could have only slept for five minutes. It took like an hour to get her to go to sleep.
R gets super excited about balloons. It’s so cute. I didn’t think a baby would care this young, but I went to the Dollar Store with T and she had to buy one (since her birthday is the 22nd). R lost her shit when we walked in with a balloon.

You guys would die with M’s nap life lol. We average like 1 sometimes long morning nap and maybe a second crap nap. It’s not really out of the ordinary for her to be up for many hours some days before bed. It’s exhausting unless we are out and she is entertained somewhere.

Those with toddlers..do naps ever become consistent? Yesterday we had 3 30 minutes nap and were up for 5 hours at one point. Today we've already have in 2 one hour naps.

T was always a consistent Napper.
R pretty much is up for 1.5-2 hours then takes a nap. The naps are usually 1-2 hours, but sometimes can be 45 minutes. If she’s up longer than she should be then she fights the nap and it’s a battle of will power. She consistently takes three naps at this point. I think T didn’t drop to two naps until after a year.
R has never been awake for more than a 2.5 hour stretch.

I think it’s kid specific really king26. Like yesterday M napped for 2 hours from 11-1 and was up besides a couple cat naps in the car till like 8:30. She had her usual 1 wake up last night so 🤷🏻♀️ I think I just have a baby that doesn’t want to miss out on anything lol. I can’t really remember with my first but I think she was pretty consistent with 2 naps. Not sure when we dropped to 1

king26 DS was a consistent napper. I think he was down to 2 naps around 9 months and then 1 nap around 15 months. He still naps once a day usually (he'll be 3 in July). DD does what she wants. Sometimes she can't be up more than 2 hrs without being a mess. And sometimes she's up 3 or 4 hrs in between naps. Most days she gets 3 naps. Sometimes just 2. I aim for 9, 12, and 3. But she likes to laugh at my attempts to plan her day.

I think naps become more routine/on a schedule after the 6 month sleep regression/craziness. Or at least, it was that way with DS. With him, he did the 2-3-4 schedule (1st nap 2 hrs after waking, next nap 3 hrs from waking, 4 hrs later bedtime). But then he dropped down to one nap before he was 1. He stopped napping at 2. 😭
Right now, DD is taking 2-3 naps that are 20-40 minutes long. But she’s been falling asleep if we go anywhere in the car, poor thing. She’s just too distracted at home watching the dog or big brother. DS is also not helping by throwing a tantrum every time I try to get her down in her bedroom. #siblingjealousy
