With DD I had a vaginal birth but this one is measuring big (like really big) so I now have a scheduled c-section. For those that have had a c-section did you buy any type of binder/wrap for after? They're expensive and I'm not sure if it's a worthwhile investment or not. I feel like a FTM again because this is all so different than my first pregnancy! The hospital gave me one (well I asked for it). It wasn’t the best thing in the world but I wore it a little. Honestly I didn’t wear it more than a week or two and only a few hours at a time, it was hella uncomfortable Good to know. Some of them are over $100, which if beneficial I would consider, but if not I really don't want to waste that kind of money! I'll try to remember to ask my OB what, if anything, is provided.

I had abdominal separation so the physiotherapist recommended I use SRC recovery shorts. They helped support my tummy but they’re for either vaginal or CS delivery so I don’t think they’re the same as a binder some people use after CS. The hospital gave me tubigrip style stuff which stretched after a few days so I was glad for the shorts.

The doctor ordered a binder for me, it was nice because it was made in a way that was able to be cut down for my short torso. I wore it in the hospital, and it really helped when I was getting out of the bed. I did not wear it at home, because lol to any extra layer in July in the south.

I'm having a RCS, my date will actually be set at my appointment Monday. So birth plan will be rock in, get drugs, get baby out.
I way over packed last time, I really only used my toiletries (it was nice to use my own stuff), phone charger, hospital gown a friend got me (It was pretty and easier access to breast feed), chap stick, and yoga pants and a tank to wear home. For DS we didn't dress him until we were going home. He just staying in a diaper and swaddle. I also took an A&A swaddle blanket to lightly cover him for the ride home.
