Making lists helps me, so if it also does for you - and if this won't make you hyperventilate - what things do you still want to get done in the next few months?

Hrmmm, this is actually a good idea. Let me see what I can come up with.
Clean up bedroom Figure out where to put baby stuff Figure out where to put guinea pig Get stuff moved over from BFFs house Wash baby clothes Wash (and wash and wash and wash) cloth diapers Decorate baby area
I'm sure there's more.

I have two ongoing lists, to do & to buy, and really need to get a move on, since I have 7 weeks tops left. Maybe I’ll order a car seat & bottles today.

This is most of my list plus: -dog to vet -bassinet to living room -oil and transmission fluid change -move baby stuff upstairs (bouncer, playmate, etc) -move nursery crib mattress to highest setting Lists help me so even putting tiny things on them are good for me.

Since we’re moving this summer and not setting up a big girl room or redecorating a nursery my list is pretty manageable I think. The baby will just be in our room for a couple months.
-buy changing table and storage baskets -get diaper pail and hamper -wash bottles/pacifiers/etc -wash/sort/fold nb/0-3m clothes -wash swing/bouncer/PNP/car seat/boppy/etc parts -clean baby bath tub -go through nb cloth diapers -find various baby stuff hiding at the back of DD’s closet and dresser
My friends are coming at the end of the month so they are going to be recruited for all this.

This thread made me start on taking tags off baby girl clothes to wash. It’s all the consignment clothes I’ve bought. I’m waiting til my shower next weekend to remove tags from anything I’ve bought at the store in case i don’t need them and can return.

jessila Cauking is on my list too hahahaha It's technically a list that H and I are sharing although the major of it is for me. I will not be caulking the shower myself because those are not skills I possess.

I was going to get the bathroom redone but the contractor said that the plaster walls would create a mess with dust and then I learned about the possibility of asbestos in the plaster walls so I finally took it off my list.

I haven’t done anything yet (eek)
We have friends staying over next week for 2 weekends so we’ll put off everything until the beginning of April. - go through DS’s bins of clothes, wash and organize the smaller sizes - put together bassinet - move up mattress on the crib to the baby height - call insurance for a pump - get new bottles and accessories - call dog walker and update her about schedule - finish au pair’s room, get mattress - caulk bathroom - finish organizing basement and mount flat screen TV so that I can work out when I get cleared (no excuses!) - pack hospital bag - pull out changing pads - order diapers and related items - figure out emergency plan in case something happens before the RCS (DS1, dogs, etc...) - go to the dentist - schedule endocrinologist appointment for PP since they get booked months and months in advance - cancel gym membership (not using it now) - organize linen closet - schedule Vietnam Vets to pick up more donations - pack up excess stuff in DS’s room - register to take advantage of discounts - get extra rock plays or other spots for the baby - get extra crib for the guest bedroom on the main floor - book hotel for vacation in August
ETA: PICK A NAME!!!

Oh, I need to add fill out H's FMLA paperwork. Hopefully we'll get the official RSC date at my appointment in two weeks so I can get that filled out (my handwriting is better than his).
