I'll start!
1. How old is LO? 8 weeks 2. What time is bed time? 7:30 3. How many wake ups and what times (on average)? Twice. Once at 1:30 once at 4:30/5 4. What is your least fav time to wake up and why? 4am! I hate that one since it's too early to wake up for the day but hard to get back to sleep. 5. If you have more than one LO, how long did it take your other(S) to STTN? DS1 took a whole year. Ugh. 6. Is your LO in your room? What are they sleeping on? LO is sleeping in my room in the RnP. 7. Anything positive to say about your LO's sleep/bedtime routine? I love looking at LO in the dark and enjoy the time with him nursing even though I hate being awake. 8. Does your SO help with any MOTN tasks? No. but MH does DS1's bedtime routine and any MOTN wake ups for DS1. He also lets me sleep in the mornings and plays with DS1 until our wake up (at 6:30 or 7am).

How many wake ups and what times (on average)? 3 - 12ish, 3ish and 5ish 4. What is your least fav time to wake up and why? 5am. H gets up at 5:30 so it's hard for us to go back to sleep. Then when I finally do DD usually wants to get up for the day. 5. If you have more than one LO, how long did it take your other(S) to STTN? 20 mos! But that was true sttn, she kept a 5am wakeup from 12 mos to 20 mos but that was still technically sttn since I think a stretch of 5 or 6 hrs is sttn. 6. Is your LO in your room? What are they sleeping on? Yes he's in the Halo swivel sleeper which I'm a big fan of. 7. Anything positive to say about your LO's sleep/bedtime routine? I'm pretty pleased with his night sleep. He nurses to sleep and transfers easily so wakeups are quick and relatively painless. 8. Does your SO help with any MOTN tasks? Not during the week. H is in the guest room for now during the week. On weekends he sleeps in our bedroom and does one motn diaper change (or more if necessary but I usually only do one)

1. How old is LO? 10 weeks
2. What time is bed time? She naps for about an hour around dinner time then goes to bed around 9. 3. How many wake ups and what times (on average)? 4 on average Id say. Lately it’s been 11, 1:30, 3:30 and 5:30 or 6 4. What is your least fav time to wake up and why? 3:30 or 5:30 because I feel like I just fell back to sleep when she wakes again 5. If you have more than one LO, how long did it take your other(S) to STTN? DD1 was sleeping at least 6 hours by 8 weeks and full nights by I think 3 months 6. Is your LO in your room? What are they sleeping on? Yes, Halo bassinet. She drinks her bottles in her boppy lounger and I wait for her to fall asleep before transferring her to the bassinet 7. Anything positive to say about your LO's sleep/bedtime routine? She’s really cute at the 3:30 or 5:30 wake up and smiles at me or coos 8. Does your SO help with any MOTN tasks? If I fall asleep early he will do the 11 and 1. He’s been working a lot lately so hasn’t been helping as much though which happens to coincide with me going back to work so that’s been hard.

1. 3 weeks
2. 7-8pm ish
3. About every 3 to 3.5 hrs. No pattern yet
4. Whatever one falls closest to morning.
5. DD1 got SIXTEEN teeth from 5.5-12 months. So she started consistently STTN at 13 months
6. No surprisingly we tried her crib in her room about a week ago and she did great. So most naps & all nights are spent there
8. SO has to leave for work at 3:30am. He normally takes half the nights on his days off and always helps a lot in the afternoon and LOs bedtime

1. How old is LO? 6 + 1
2. What time is bed time? LOL We try to get her to sleep around 8:00, but we also have been keeping her downstairs with us in the PNP because #lazy and #easy. We are slowly trying to transition her to the crib for a portion of the night to get her used to being alone and laying flat on her back (she sleeps in the RNP at night in our room)
3. How many wake ups and what times (on average)? Usually awake between midnight-1 (usually I stay up until after this feeding) and then 4-5ish
4. What is your least fav time to wake up and why? The wake-up closest to dawn is the roughest... I just want to stay asleep and I want her to stay asleep...
5. If you have more than one LO, how long did it take your other(S) to STTN?
6. Is your LO in your room? What are they sleeping on? RNP in our room, we've tried a bassinet and so far she hates it and wakes up quickly after transferring her.
7. Anything positive to say about your LO's sleep/bedtime routine? As rough as I feel I have it I know that she is a pretty good sleeper. I still need to work on consistent routines at night and daytime sleep habits or we will all be miserable when she starts daycare. I feel I sometimes make good progress but then the next day I'm too tired to bother.
8. Does your SO help with any MOTN tasks? No, but since he is back to work it is more important that he get some sleep. I can nap during the day... He will help me get her ready for bed however I need him to and on the weekends he will usually take her after her first morning feeding so I can sleep in peace for a little longer.

1. How old is LO? 8 weeks tomorrow
2. What time is bed time? If she’s awake in the 8:00 hour we start getting ready for bed about 9:15 or so. If she’s asleep I do a dream feed between 9:30-10.
3. How many wake ups and what times (on average)? 1, anywhere between 3-6am, and then she goes right back to sleep until at least 7am. If she wakes up closer to the 5:30 mark she’ll go back to sleep until 8:30 or 9.
4. What is your least fav time to wake up and why? The 3:00 hour. Because then I get broken sleep. Generally if she wakes up after 4:15 or so I just get up for the day once she’s back asleep.
5. If you have more than one LO, how long did it take your other(S) to STTN? DD3 was like 14 months. The other two were somewhere between 8-10 months.
6. Is your LO in your room? What are they sleeping on? Yes. She’s in a RnP.
7. Anything positive to say about your LO's sleep/bedtime routine? I just can’t believe how much of a decent sleeper she is. I’m baffled. None of my girls started like this. It’s going to suck balls when she regresses. She took a 3 hour and a 2.25 hour nap today. 🤷🏼♀️ I’m hoping God knew I needed one more baby but not one that was going to drive me absolutely insane. Lol.
8. Does your SO help with any MOTN tasks? No. With this one I don’t really need him to at all as I’m getting enough sleep. In general though he’s pretty useless at night and it takes me longer than him to fall back asleep even if he does get up with a kid. So it’s just not worth it.

1. How old is LO? 8 weeks
2. What time is bed time? He usually falls asleep around 10
3. How many wake ups and what times (on average)? 1 at around 4
4. What is your least fav time to wake up and why? I really can’t complain 😬
5. If you have more than one LO, how long did it take your other(S) to STTN? I honestly can’t remember. Here and there at around 6 months. Regularly, after 1.
6. Is your LO in your room? What are they sleeping on? Yes, Chicco LullaGo
7. Anything positive to say about your LO's sleep/bedtime routine? He’s super easy, I nurse him and he lays on the Boppy for a bit and then he falls asleep. He’s so much easier than J was.
8. Does your SO help with any MOTN tasks? No, when he was waking up more she would do diaper changes, but now all I do is nurse him for a few minutes and he’s back out so there’s really no reason to wake her.

1. How old is LO? 2 weeks
2. What time is bed time? He’s been wide awake until 10:30 the last few days 😒
3. How many wake ups and what times (on average)? 12, 4, 7, and 9 roughly
4. What is your least fav time to wake up and why? 4, I have trouble waking up fully enough to read on my phone or something and often fall asleep with my neck af a weird angle.
5. If you have more than one LO, how long did it take your other(S) to STTN? We did CIO at 5 months to get him into a regular bedtime, but he was sleeping 5-6 hours before that. I don’t remember exactly when but he was/is a good sleeper.
6. Is your LO in your room? What are they sleeping on? Yes, he’s in a SNOO.
7. Anything positive to say about your LO's sleep/bedtime routine? He is lengthening his sleep sessions little by little. I feel relatively human these days.
8. Does your SO help with any MOTN tasks? No. He didn’t with DS1 because I wanted one of us to be fully functional and I was EBF anyway. This time he does DS1 and I do DS2.

1. How old is LO? 5 weeks
2. What time is bed time? He doesn’t really have a bedtime. I’ve been trying to get him down for the night around 9:30/10, but it depends on when he last nursed and napped.
3. How many wake ups and what times (on average)? His first wake up is usually about 3 hours after bedtime. We were getting 4 hour stretches - not sure where those went. 😩 At that point, I take him in bed and side-lie nurse so I don’t even look at the clock when he wakes again usually. 4 probably? Then again around 6 id guess.
4. What is your least fav time to wake up and why? Can I pick all of them...?
5. If you have more than one LO, how long did it take your other(S) to STTN? We did sleep training around 6.5 months and then I accidentally night-weaned at 7 months and he has been STTN without fail ever since!!
6. Is your LO in your room? What are they sleeping on? He sleeps in the RNP for the first stretch and in bed with me the rest of the night.
7. Anything positive to say about your LO's sleep/bedtime routine? He sleeps well next to me so I’m less sleep-deprived than I was at this point with DS1.
8. Does your SO help with any MOTN tasks? No- he is banished to the guest room lol.

. How old is LO? S is 8 weeks on Sunday 2. What time is bed time? 9ish 3. How many wake ups and what times (on average)? Usually 1-2x, 2am & 5am (sometimes 5am becomes 6am and then we’re iust up for the day) 4. What is your least fav time to wake up and why? 6am because then I’m up for the day, it’s an awkward amount of time between when he is done & when DD will wake up 5. If you have more than one LO, how long did it take your other(S) to STTN? DD slept through around 2-3mo old 6. Is your LO in your room? What are they sleeping on? Our room in the PNP usually but the RNP if he is congested 7. Anything positive to say about your LO's sleep/bedtime routine? Love it, he is a quick eater & usually right back to sleep unless he has gas or something l 8. Does your SO help with MOTN tasks? Nope he usually has a flight so needs sleep & isn’t super helpful anyway lol. He usually takes care of DD (almost 3yo) if she wakes up for some reason.

1. Little man is 10w 2. Bedtime is around 8:30 4.None 😬 I really hope I’m not jinxing it. He usually just wakes for the day between 6 or 7. 4. When he does happen to get up around 4:30 or 5 is annoying because I usually can’t go back to sleep then. 5. G slept through the night by 6 weeks. 6. He is in a crib in his “room” which is really just a loft above my bedroom. During the day he is in the rnp in the living room. 7. I can’t complain. He is a great sleeper at night. 8. MH drives for a living so if the baby gets up he doesn’t hear it and I make sure he stays for work.

1. How old is LO? 4 1/2 weeks 2. What time is bed time? between 8-10 3. How many wake ups and what times (on average)? usually just 2! around 12am and around 4am 4. What is your least fav time to wake up and why? soon after I go to sleep, like within an hour of falling asleep 5. If you have more than one LO, how long did it take your other(S) to STTN? um...he still doesn't do it consistently? we sometimes get a couple of weeks where he does but never really longer than that (he's 2.5) 6. Is your LO in your room? What are they sleeping on? yes, RNP until 4am wake uo, then on her belly in co-sleeper 7. Anything positive to say about your LO's sleep/bedtime routine? see #3 8. Does your SO help with any MOTN tasks? no, and I tend to handle baby and toddler some of the time since toddler often refuses DH's help....

1. How old is LO? 7 weeks
2. What time is bed time? Between 9 and 10.
3. How many wake ups and what times (on average)? Wakes up 2-3 times, no set time yet. 4. What is your least fav time to wake up and why? If he wakes up 3 times, there’s normally only an hour between the last two times. I feel so groggy if I only sleep for an hour.
5. If you have more than one LO, how long did it take your other(S) to STTN? N/A
6. Is your LO in your room? What are they sleeping on? Yes, in bassinet beside me.
7. Anything positive to say about your LO's sleep/bedtime routine? He loves having a bath before going to bed and is super cute.
8. Does your SO help with any MOTN tasks? He will if I ask. But I normally let him sleep during the week. He helps quite a bit on the weekends, especially if I’m working on a Saturday.

1. How old is LO? 8 weeks
2. What time is bed time? Around 9:30
3. How many wake ups and what times (on average)? Either 1 or 2. Usually wakes at 5am to nurse and go back to sleep, and sometimes also wakes at 2am.
4. What is your least fav time to wake up and why? I guess the 5am wake-up, because she still wants to sleep after but is much more restless and grunty, so I end up sleeping poorly after that.
5. If you have more than one LO, how long did it take your other(S) to STTN? We sleep trained DD1 at one year.
6. Is your LO in your room? What are they sleeping on? Yes, in the rnp. Will switch to the pnp soonish.
7. Anything positive to say about your LO's sleep/bedtime routine? I’m just so relieved that she sleeps better than her sister did!
8. Does your SO help with any MOTN tasks? No, although he regularly asks if there’s anything he can do. She’s nursing, so there really isn’t. If DD1 wakes up while I’m holding DD2, I’ll wake him up for that.

1. How old is LO? 2 months 2. What time is bed time? 9 ish 3. How many wake ups and what times (on average)? 1-2. Sometimes between 1 and 3 and then at 5 am 4. What is your least fav time to wake up and why? 5 am because he won't go back down in the basinette 5. If you have more than one LO, how long did it take your other(S) to STTN? 15 months 6. Is your LO in your room? What are they sleeping on? A snoo in our room 7. Anything positive to say about your LO's sleep/bedtime routine? That first stretch is great especially when he only wakes up at 5 8. Does your SO help with any MOTN tasks? No really. He does bedtime for DS1

1. How old is LO? 8 weeks yesterday
2. What time is bed time? Well, H and I do TV/relax time in the basement after the big 2 are in bed, so she generally sits with me and BFs or snoozes until we go up around 10.
3. How many wake ups and what times (on average)? Depends how congested she is-that’s what affects her sleep the most. Good nights, maybe feedings around midnight, 4, then my big 2 are usually up anywhere between 7 and 8 so she usually wakes up for a little while then too.
4. What is your least fav time to wake up and why? Anytime before 7? LOL!
5. If you have more than one LO, how long did it take your other(S) to STTN? DS was consistent by the time he was 1. DD1 is our stubborn one. We had a good routine with her but she was past 2 before we were confident with her overnight sleep habits, when I let her stop napping. They are both great overnight sleepers now so I can’t complain.
6. Is your LO in your room? What are they sleeping on? Yep, either in the RNP or our bed
7. Anything positive to say about your LO's sleep/bedtime routine? She definitely knows nighttime is sleeptime and with her in bed with me we just dream feed, no big wakeups.
8. Does your SO help with any MOTN tasks? Yep, usually around the 4:00 hour is when she’s been getting super congested lately, so he’ll go change her diaper and try to clear her nose out then. He also helps the big kids out if they wake up for any reason.

watermelonseed your post made me remember (oh how quickly we forget lol) that DD1 got her first tooth at 4 months and was all done teething by the time she was 18 months old. So yea, that was definitely a factor in being able to come up with a consistent sleeping pattern poor thing.

1. How old is LO? 9 weeks 2. What time is bed time? somewhere between 8-9 3. How many wake ups and what times (on average)? usually 2 - one at 230 and then again at 530 4. What is your least fav time to wake up and why? 530 - mostly because its when MH wakes up for work so I don't really fall back asleep and then DS1 is usually up at 7 5. If you have more than one LO, how long did it take your other(S) to STTN? THREE WEEKS - so we are in shock and this little mans lack of sleeping hit us like a tonne of bricks 6. Is your LO in your room? What are they sleeping on? he sleeps in the Halo swivel 7. Anything positive to say about your LO's sleep/bedtime routine? He is really easy to transfer and will also put himself to bed often if we put him in there drowsy 8. Does your SO help with any MOTN tasks? yup! we split it 50/50 since I also work and take care of the kids/house/cooking/cleaning etc (saving this rant for another day )

tiffrobot wow 4mo! During it was so hard but now I’m glad it was all done and over at once Yep that’s what we said in the thick of it too..it was non stop, she was constantly teething something, but it was nice to be all done so fast lol! But now when N is drooling I’m all cautiously wondering if she’s going to be early too. DS was premature and he followed the teething schedule almost to a T and he “should be” 7 weeks younger than he is so I think he would have been an early teether too had he been born full term.

We are all fairly sleep deprived. Let's talk about it more! 1. How old is LO? 2. What time is bed time? 3. How many wake ups and what times (on average)? 4. What is your least fav time to wake up and why? 5. If you have more than one LO, how long did it take your other(S) to STTN? 6. Is your LO in your room? What are they sleeping on? 7. Anything positive to say about your LO's sleep/bedtime routine? 8. Does your SO help with any MOTN tasks? 1) how old 6 weeks 2) when is bedtime? fresh diaper and bedtime nursing begin at 10. 3) how many wake ups? Sometime none! Sometimes 1 or 2. Sometimes she has horrendous extended wake ups, typically any wake up 3:45 or after can lead to unsettled snoozes only. Great night - 10:30 until 5-7 w no wake ups Bad night- 12:30, 3, 4:30 and not go back to sleep She doesn’t do that morning extended sleep that my boys did where she will sleep from like 5-8 or something 4) least fav wake up? Anything before 5:30. I’m super unrealistic and unreasonable about baby sleep 5) when did older kids STTN? DS1 did at 3 weeks, 10-7, and never looked back. Not even teeth. DS2 sleep well until 4 months and then didn’t STTN or sleep past 5:30 am until he was 3. I’ve been on both ends of the spectrum! 6) where does baby sleep? In our room in the swing but the swing isn’t on. Now that she’s not having good nights we are doing crib in her room tonight. 7) anything positive? She has it in her to sleep really well and has done so with good consistency but she throws in a string of really bad night, 3 good, more bad. Basically a baby and I shouldn’t complain but I will! 8) Does SO help MOTN? Sort of. He isn’t sleeping in our room at the moment but has the monitor for the older boys. He will relieve me without complaint anything I need him to but sometimes I’m too lazy to walk her downstairs. If she’s up 5:30 or after I bring her to him. He watches all three every morning from 6:30-7:30. Once she’s older and no longer nursing, H is first line of defense on all kid MOTN wake ups. He’s so much better MOTN than I am and I’m basically the president of everything else in our family. He also does bedtime w both boys. * I want to add that our wake ups are at least an hour which makes any wake up more challenging. I’m jealous of all of you with fast wake ups!*

Ohh I like this! I’m very interested to see where everyone else is in this
1. How old is LO? 6.5weeks 2. What time is bed time? 8ish 3. How many wake ups and what times (on average)? Typically 2. She’ll be up around 2, then again between 4-5. Sometimes more wake ups, sometimes less. We’ve had a few nights of only 1 wake up. 4. What is your least fav time to wake up and why? That 2nd wakeup is rough after only having 2 hours since the previous wake up 5. If you have more than one LO, how long did it take your other(S) to STTN? She would have sporadic nights here and there where she would STTN. But it wasn’t consistent until we sleep trained a week before she turned 1. And she’s been a fantastic sleeper and STTN ever since. 6. Is your LO in your room? What are they sleeping on? Yes we plan on keeping her in our room for the first 6m. We have an arms reach cosleeper that she typically does the first stretch in. Then after that first stretch, she was getting harder to put down without waking up, so we co sleep for the rest of the night. The past 3 nights she’s been in our bed the whole night because I’ve been a nervous nelly with her being sick with this cough. 7. Anything positive to say about your LO's sleep/bedtime routine? She is generally very easy to get to sleep. And she doesn’t really cry much at all. So she doesn’t get too worked up. DD1 needed a binky and to be rocked/walked for ever to get to sleep and she NEVER stayed asleep for a transfer to her bed. DD2 will happily fall asleep on the boob or just by being held. Occasionally when she’s overtired she requires a bit more effort, but overall it’s a very easy task. 8. Does your SO help with any MOTN tasks? No. Except for this morning when she wouldn’t settle down and had just been up an hour before. MH complained and asked what her deal was and I said “I think she needs her diaper changed” and he said “so change it then”. Omfg I wanted to murder him. I said “you fucking change it” and threw a diaper at him and rolled over. 😑 That was his first attempt at helping with anything MOTN
ETA i don’t mind at all that MH doesnt help motn. There’s not much of anything he can do. But it was him complaining about it that really angered me. He usually gets up with DD1 so I can sleep in a bit longer and will help with her MOTN if anything happens. So he’s not completely useless 😉

MH complained and asked what her deal was and I said “I think she needs her diaper changed” and he said “so change it then”. Omfg I wanted to murder him. I said “you fucking change it” and threw a diaper at him and rolled over. 😑 That was his first attempt at helping with anything MOTN ETA i don’t mind at all that MH doesnt help motn. There’s not much of anything he can do. But it was him complaining about it that really angered me. He usually gets up with DD1 so I can sleep in a bit longer and will help with her MOTN if anything happens. So he’s not completely useless 😉 This is something I could experience and post verbatim.

I knew better than to post about his sleep. It ALWAYS happened with G that if I posted about her STTN, that would be the night she wouldn’t. Sure enough he is up. I don’t think he is looking to eat just yet. He is just not settling down yet.

1. How old is LO? He will be 4 weeks Monday. 2. What time is bed time? We haven't really established one yet. I normally go upstairs at 8 to get a few hours of sleep with DH stays downstairs with him, and he sleeps and plays with DH during that time. DH brings him upstairs around 11 or so and we put him in the Snoo then. 3. How many wake ups and what times (on average)? Normally 2- one around 3, and another around 6. 4. What is your least fav time to wake up and why? The 6 one- it is too hard to go back to sleep so I'm normally up for the day. 5. If you have more than one LO, how long did it take your other(S) to STTN? 6. Is your LO in your room? What are they sleeping on? Yes, he sleeps in our room in the Snoo. 7. Anything positive to say about your LO's sleep/bedtime routine? *Knock on wood* His feeds take a long time, but he falls asleep during them so transferring him back to bed goes smoothly. 8. Does your SO help with any MOTN tasks? He helps with the diaper changes!

LO is almost 4 weeks- at what age should I start a true bedtime routine? Right now I go upstairs alone around 8 to get a few hours of sleep before DH and DS come to bed around 11. Those few hours are usually the best sleep I get of the night so I am hesitant to bring DS up to bed then. Is there a certain time or a way to tell when baby is ready for a more regular "routine" at bedtime and when they need to start going to bed earlier?

I am by far not a sleep expert so take my advice while keeping in mind that I am winging it. Lol When he started getting fussy and overtired at an earlier time, that’s when I figured he wanted to sleep earlier. So instead of napping at 7 or 8 ish, I would feed him, swaddle him and then put him to sleep if he wasn’t already. After he is asleep in his crib, I come back downstairs to spend time with MH.
