Welcome to the IVF check-in for March 8! Check-ins will be every Monday (jacks, are you still able to do this?) and Thursday (bonzo). If we've left you off the check-in, or if you'd like to be added or removed, please let us know! This is a check-in for those who are doing IVF or FET. Please don’t hesitate to use this check-in for IVF/FET info and support even if you’re not currently cycling. If you are interested in joining, please fill us in on your cycle. Everyone is welcome. Also, please update us along the way! Asterisks will appear by your name if you do not update us in a check-in. After four consecutive asterisks (2 weeks), you will be removed from the list. Don’t fret if you are removed from the list, check in again and we will add you back. Once you get a strong repeat beta, congrats! We eagerly await your 3TIF Grad Check-In posts! We encourage you to intro on PAIF, and while here in the meantime, please consistently use warning tags in posts and siggies, and be mindful of your status, especially on 3TIF outside this check-in. I'm in a much better place than I was the last time I posted. February was just a pile-on of stress, between work, going 3 weeks without a single day off, trying to get answers about donors, hitting that 1 year mark with the RE and feeling like we are no closer than when we started...but a job I hated ended, which was a huge relief! I've been able to take time off to recharge, which I really needed. And we finally got some info on how our top 2 donors did! One did amazingly well, and is actually eligible to do a split cycle. We're hoping to get officially matched with her in the next week or so. And spring break is coming up, and I'm going to visit my BFF so that will be a fantastic break from everything. jacks, if you're still up for doing the check in on Mondays, I'd appreciate it. Right now I'm feeling ok about posting again, but when I realized that posting on the forums regularly was adding to my stress last month rather than helping, I knew I had taken on too much. This used to be a twice a week thread, which takes some of the work off of one person. And then if one person has to step away for whatever reason, the board doesn't lose their check in thread.

adm11, exciting news! AFM, no real changes. I finished a round of progesterone and have started lupron injections. Still just waiting for CD1.

bonzo I’m glad you’re feeling better. Work stress on top of IVF stress is no joke.

adm11 congrats on being PUPO. 3 to blast is great news! jacks hope CD1 comes soon for you bonzo I am glad you are in a better place. You have to do what is best for you and put your health and mental wellness above all else. I agree with jacks the hardest times on this journey are where my work and IVF stress coincide. The pressures of IVF take up so much mental and physical energy it leaves little left for anything else.. AFM, We are hopefully starting new cycle soon. I had bloodwork today to see if I ovulated. I think I may be ovulating today though (+ OPK yesterday). I am nervous about the timing of this next cycle because we have a trip to DC to visit my BIL on April 16th. Ugh. Always something...

{Spoiler} |Well. It's been a week. Apologies ahead of time for the novel...
We transferred a PGS tested blast. I got a second line on a dollar store test last Saturday. First time in my life that it wasn't from trigger, so that was pretty exciting. Betas on Tuesday (12dp5dt) were positive but pretty low for how far out from transfer I was. I started spotting pretty good the same day, so I wasn't getting my hopes up. Went back Thursday for repeats, and shockingly, they slightly more than doubled. That was supposed to be it, but my clinic does HCG boosters, so when I was picking up the HCG this morning I mentioned the spotting, and asked for another test even though it was only the next day. I also started cramping a little today. Betas did not rise as they should have, hardly at all. My clinic doesn't do betas on the weekend, so I have to go back Monday, and however many more times it takes to track me to 0. I have a follow up with the RE on the 29th.
That was our only PGS tested embryo. We do have another blast on ice, but it couldn't be tested, so I don't know where that leaves us. Ugh.
TL;DR it was a rollercoaster week with a not so happy ending, and it isn't even over yet.

sally, I’m so sorry. It is so frustrating when there is no explanation and nothing to do.

So sorry sally, hugs to you. As for me, our FET is cancelled/postponed. I have 4 endometriomas that are bigger than my uterus pushing it to a straight anteverted position and it's spun on its axis making it impossible to do a transfer. Looks like I get endo surgery #4 ASAP I'm so over this. I've been in tears wallowing in self pity. {Spoiler}sister had a baby 3 months ago. brother and his gf are due any day. He wants me to be supportive, but he knocked up a 19 year old. How the hell does this happen on accident?! I'm a fucking nurse! I can't help but to feel those terrible thoughts of- how does he deserve this more than me. Ya know?

skidevil87, I'm so sorry you had to cancel the FET to schedule surgery again! It's so unfair. I totally understand feeling the way you do about your brother. Hugs!
