Age: 3y2m
Milestones: We're in PTing hell
Challenges: He has suddenly decided he can't poop without hours of screaming beforehand. He's not constipated, he doesn't have any GI issues, he says it doesn't hurt, he just doesn't want to. It's exhausting.
Funny/cute stories: This morning we were dropping DS1 off at school, and he said "your backpack looks heavy. Have fun at school. I eat pretzels with mommy today!" Level 10 toddler shade.
How are you? I've been having some migraine/anxiety stuff, but I think I'm getting it under control. I finally went to the doctor Monday, and he had several suggestions and a back-up plan if it doesn't work, so I'm feeling hopeful about it.
Anything else?
QOTW: Favorite clothing brand for your little one? Cat & Jack for lyfe. It's cute, cheap, and I like that the boy clothes are actually colorful.

Age: 3 years 3 months
Milestones: Kinda writing his name (more imitating what I write first)
Challenges: Bedtime is a thing of the past...he just falls asleep when he wants-sometimes that's 6pm on way home from work and other times it's 10pm in my bed.
Funny/cute stories: Yesterday after hearing me tell the babysitter I had two more horses to ride before we could go home, he said,"Mommy, I ride with you!" When I told him I couldn't take him for a ride on these particular horses he said,"No, I ride the other and you ride the other. At the same time. I help you. Go get my helmet!"
How are you?Ok...started Beachbody's 80 Day Obsession so gives me something to focus on. Since H is totally on board with being OAD (meaning, while we can still try, he is opposed to IUI, etc, but if we got pregnant naturally he'd be fine with it), and I am now 41 yo and know the rate of success w/o intervention in some way is so low, I need to shift my focus elsewhere. I am realizing I've been really obsessed over having a second. I LOVE my son, but feel like something is incomplete in a way. Growing up with siblings and a large family, I guess, and we have no family with kids near at all.
Anything else? Snowed in today. Hate snow. Wish I could move elsewhere but won't as long as my parents and MIL live here.
QOTW: Favorite clothing brand for your little one? My MIL loves to shop at Carters outlet and my mother loves to order from Gap/Old Navy. Meaning: I rarely buy clothes LO at all, so whatever fits is perfectly good by me! I guess being a mom of a boy kinda shifts the dressing up perspective. I go fro what fits and is easy to remove when he's filthy (or when in diapers, needed to be changed). He is really TALL and thin, not super skinny, but small waisted (built just like Daddy!), so length is always an issue with pants.

hawkward - Shade indeed! He's a pro! Sorry to hear about your anxiety. FX the plan gives you some relief. eliz77 - {{hugs}}, friend. Age: 1 year Milestones: He's really chatting these days and mimicking everything we say. He's also reached the point where he's annoyed we can't understand him. Sorry, Bro, everything sounds like, well, baby chatter. Challenges: Bedtime. He's started having a hard time getting to sleep, and CIO has been the only option. He only cries for 10-15 minutes and not super-heavy crying, but still... it's frustrating. Believe me, I know it could be worse. My daughter was worse LOL Funny/cute stories: Little stinker gets hungry as soon as we get home in the evening. I was making dinner the other night and he brought me the entire box of cheerios and kept yelling, "Na-na, Mama! NA-NA!" Basically telling me to FEED HIM. How are you? So damn busy. I recently worked a 21-day stretch and I'm exhausted. I took Sunday off and totally regretted it on Monday. Sigh... April 17th can't come soon enough. Anything else? Honestly, I'm hating my body right now and the lack of time to work out. I could stand to lose about 20 lbs. that's been lingering since I had C. I miss the gym and I'm rarely online these days, so tracking WW points has been inconsistent. It's all me, but damn... I need some help. QOTW: We are EXTREMELY blessed - I have hand-me-downs for C all the way up to 4T already. I think most of it is Oshkosh or Carters. I REALLY like the Cat & Jack line though. The boy clothing is so colorful, like hawkward said. I like that line for J (4.5YO DD), too. The Cat & Jack stuff for girls seems to be cut longer than other girl clothing.

Age: 2 1/2
Milestones: None this week.
Challenges: She's having a growth spurt. So it's been difficult to keep up with her need for food and she's moodier than usual, which, given that she's two...
Funny/cute stories: We're trying to teach manners. So when she burped I said, "L, do you remember what Mummy said you should do if you need to burp?" She thought for a moment and then said, "Please, Mummy, please may I blowp?" Followed by a loud, prolonged burp that any ten-year-old boy would be proud of.
How are you? I'm okay. Mostly. Ran out of reflux meds so it's been a long week with lots of extra pain and less sleep, which has been affecting everything.
Anything else?
QOTW: Favorite clothing brand for your little one? Well, we don't have Carters, Cat and Jack, Old Navy or anything else people have mentioned... so I'm guessing you won't have heard of Frugi, Mini Boden, Jojo Maman Bébé or Next. I've always dressed L well, mostly from Facebook buy/sell/trade pages. There have been times when it's been the only thing, apart from eating chocolate, that kept me sane. I finally decided in about November that I wanted to make more effort with my appearance too, and it's made a big difference.
