MH wants to watch it with me so we have only seen the first two episodes. It is very interesting. I’m hoping he can sit with me and finish this up within the next decade. (Or I am watching without him.)

I think I will this weekend.
So far, reactions on Facebook of people I know have not been super positive. I work in Flint and I'm originally from Flint.
I don't know. I'm not super excited to watch it, but I'm going to.

It is talking about the hard stuff with the systematic oppression and the history of why Flint is the way that it is. It is making me question my own biases about Flint- and I am from here- I hope that it will do the same for others that aren't from the Mitten as well.

My H and I are watching an episode or two every night after the kids bedtime. It’s crazy to hear the older people who say “when I first moved here we left the screen porch open, our kids played outside until dark, etc”. How can it go so bad so fast? Blows my mind.

It’s interesting. I do think it could have been done in a two hour feature. I’m only four episodes in but I feel like it’s pushing me to hate the mayor and the chief of police but I want to hear more about what went into some of their decisions. It feels biased.

I was always told Flint and Saginaw were extremely dangerous.

I a lot of time there between work/school. I ended up having my own apartment there for a year. It wasn't nearly what people made it out to be. My mom would get mad if I went to Walmart at night.
