2 month shots - did you give your LO Tylenol before or after the shots? We did after. We had ours done at 6 weeks because we were about to go out of town. She didn’t have any reaction though. Not sure if it was because of the Tylenol or not.

Today is a day I wish I could stay home all day in my comfy clothes. Instead I need to meet my husband later today at a tax accountant. Then we are picking up DD from daycare and going out to dinner.
At least I don't have to cook.

I think im getting my period Ive been pretty crampy yesterday and this morning and *TMI* but I have had some old brown blood mixed in with discharge. I feel so shitty I wish it would just fully come already M had a rough night and didn't settle fully to sleep until 11. I think he gets really really bad gas. I'm thinking about trying the Windii, any ladies have any experiences with it? Or does anyone have a good remedy for helping with gas? Our vaccines had to be a week late because we had to meet with the surgeon yesterday for a follow up for his tummy. Everything looked perfect so thank god that's done with. Now just to make it through Vaccines on thursday

aprilz81 how old is F again? At around 6w pp your breasts soften and it feels like you're making less but they adjust... And continue to do so! She will be 6 weeks tomorrow, but I never got engorged, hardly ever leak and she lost too much weight in the hospital. I've had to supplement from the beginning (due to a breast reduction and PCOS, I had a double whammy)...

aprilz81 also just to remind you that pumping is never a good indicator of output and to just watch her hands to relax, not the clock! And remember she's being fed, that's what is the most important. What is this about hands relaxing?!? Never heard this...

maddisonrose we tried the windi this weekend based on my sisters recommendation. It just let our gas the first few times I used them but like the third time it let out gas and she had a huge poop about an hour later.

Just catching up, today has been a whirlwind! DD2 had her 2 year checkup so I managed to get all kids dressed, packed for daycare, loaded up, and to the doctors office by 8 am. I cannot imagine what life will be like when I have to do that every day 🤣

Yup, voting day today here (primaries) so I'm going once DS2 settles. I'm going to BRU after that to get more crib sheets for ds2 since he needs one for daycare next week. DS1 insisted on assembling his toddler bed after dinner last night so he was up late but slept good after that. I am so overwhelmed by the shitshow that is these primaries where I live. The 2 vying for the Senate candidacy have spent almost $10 million slinging mud at each other.

2 month shots - did you give your LO Tylenol before or after the shots? we did before just in case she had a reaction. But I’m pretty sure I remember reading to not do that because it can decrease the effectiveness of the vaccine Hmm my pedi gives Tylenol in the office with the shots and then recommends I do another dose later.

I let baby sleep on his belly during the day when I’m watching him the whole time. It’s the only way he’ll nap not on me. He also likes sleeping on his side. Being on their backs is so un-womb-like.
I’m sure the hard boobs suck, but remember that it means your body is good at making milk!! I’d love to know the feeling of being engorged!!! #myboobssuck

Hi! I have nothing exciting to report today, and all the questions I know how to answer have been answered haha. N is 2 months on Sunday 😱 so her appt and vaccinations are booked for the 15th. I don’t think I’ve ever done Tylenol pre-vaccinations, just after if they are fussy. So instead I will AW this little outfit. I went through the kids hand me downs to see what needed updating and all 3 of them had some updating to do for their spring outdoor wear (for whenever we actually get spring lol). So this is what I ordered for N

I live in a hotly contested congressional district so I'm sure it will be crazy for the general election

I couldn't remember feeling that way with DS1 and it just dawned on me that it was because I had terrible post partum nausea and vomiting so I'm sure that impacted my supply and mitigated that.

I don’t know if I should make an apt for H to see the ped or not. Her cough sounds horrible, but she doesn’t have a fever and is sleeping and eating and breathing fine. She’s not coughing that frequently, but when she does it sounds awful. I just went down the rabbit hole of YouTube listening to different types of cough. I’m usually so anti-dr unless you’re dying, but her being so little and not immunized has me panicked. I don’t want to bring her in for no reason, especially since she seems to be handling it fine, but I don’t want to ignore it either if it’s something more serious.

My toddler has the same and I was told to monitor unless he spiked a temp, had labored breathing or started to not eat/ drink. A lot of viral crap going around here.

And her runny nose/congestion has definitely gotten better.

DD1s sitter dropped her off today and let me know that her daughter just tested positive for flu as well as her niece and nephew. All didn’t have the flu shot. The kids that had the flu shot aren’t sick as of yet. Because DD1 was exposed can she carry it even if she doesn’t have symptoms? I’m super paranoid about DD2 catching anything right now especially the flu.

This seems silly 6 weeks pp, but my nipples are just now getting bruised and OMG they HURT... I don't think this is a latch issue, this continues throughout nursing and it also happens when anything touches a nipple (shirt rubbing, holding Faith against my chest, etc.)
Ideas on what can help?

She is sleeping right now but I'll try to look inside her mouth at her next feeding, I've not noticed anything weird but I've not been looking for anything specific.
