I’m really torn. Samuel is my Grandfather’s name. I really like Henry but I feel like I know a lot of Henrys. They are about equal in popularity though.

I think it's regional. Henry is really popular in the under 5 crowd where I live but I only know one Sam and he's actually Samson.

We discussed names again last night. I think we came down to three.
NathanJames, NoahDaniel, DanielJames
Our older girls are all "N" names and I'm not sure I can break the pattern. DH has a thing for including family names with this boy, thus the middle names. Daniel is my family name and ds will be the only boy in our family going forward...thoughts?

My vote is NoahDaniel. I prefer family name in the middle unless no one else in the family uses the name.

I love Nathan most as a first name but if Daniel is a family name then I'd go with Noah Daniel.

Hmm. That would be too close for me personally.
ETA NathanDaniel is not on the list? Personally I would not do another N name but I'm ridiculous and I know that's your preference.

I agree that Noah seems too close to Nora. Nathan Daniel would be a good choice but I’m assuming not on the list for a reason.

Nathan James sounds wonderful. That would be my next pick.
