R puked at like 5:30pm and then at 8pm when she woke up - I tried giving her Tylenol before feeding her and within 10 minutes she puked. She ended up waking at 10pm and I finally brought her to bed with my at like midnight. She slept on my chest until close to 6am. She did her usual 4am wake up and chatting. Gah, I wanted H to take her for a bit, but he ignored my passive comments. I fed R at 6am. I tried to take it slow, but she was having none of it. She wanted to be held or she was fussy, so I gave her Tylenol and put her back to bed. Fingers crossed she keeps everything in. I also think we need to get a thermometer. I have an ear one, but I think she’s too still too small as it read fine last night and she definitely feels warm. Oh no. I hope she feels better soon! Sick babies are so sad.

R is eating today and not puking, so that is good. She looks a little rough, but I’m glad she’s keeping her bots down.

Sorry for all the sick babies!!
We had a bad evening yesterday. Baby h's fever broke in the afternoon, and he seemed all happy playing in the bathtub and jumping in his jumperoo. He took a nap around 6 and when he woke up, he was very sluggish and fussy and just not acting right. I took his temperature rectally and it was 96. That really freaked me out. He then started coughing and couldn't fully catch his breath between each cough. It was so scary. I was having trouble being calm with the coughing. Dh and I debated and then I called 911. I was afraid he was going to stop breathing.
They came after like 25 minutes and checked his oxygen, which was normal. They couldn't take his temperature bc they didn't have a thermometer 🤔. He seemed much more normal and had stopped coughing so they said I could just take him to urgent care or the er. I felt pretty stupid and couldn't decide if I needed to take him, but eventually took him to urgent care. I had changed him into a fleece with socks and a hat as soon as I got the low temp reading, so his temp was up to 98 when we got there. He looked like the healthiest little baby with nothing wrong with him! I'm so very thankful he's okay. I'm not sure if I overreacted or if it was right to call and then take him in.
The urgent care Dr didn't believe the 96 temp could be true, but it was a rectal temp, and I took it a few times and saw it creep up. We followed up with his pediatrician today and she thinks it's just a virus and that he should be on the mend soon. She thought the temperature was likely true and concerning if it happened again. Sorry I wrote a book. Here's to an uneventful evening and an end to this awful winter.

thinkchocolate05 Sorry for the scare. How crazy that it took so long for the paramedics to get there! I'm glad he's good now. Sick babies are the worst.

thinkchocolate05 I’m so sorry that happened- that sounds really scary. I would have called 911, too. Don’t feel dumb. I’m glad it passed, but ugh what a scare. I hope he feels and acts better and whatever it was goes away!

So sorry thinkchocolate05, how scary! I do not think you overreacted at all. Um wtf to them coming 25 mins later?! I’m glad he is ok and hope the virus goes away.

thinkchocolate05 How scary! I’m glad baby is doing ok now though. This winter is terrible for sickness I swear! I don’t know anyone that hasn’t had a rough couple months health wise.

E has been fighting naps all day. She went to bed at 6:30. At 8:30 she was up already. She's now been crying for 30 min despite everything we can try and nothing is helping. I'm at a loss and I feel so bad for my sweet, mild-mannered baby.

Oh this is the day of no naps I see, same here! She went berserk at bedtime too so I got her back up and then put her back to bed like 15 mins later. Hoping she stays asleep a good stretch I’m wiped. I can’t even blame shots because we waited since she still has a cold and will go back next week to get them.

I told H that we need to work on R sleeping without us wiggling her butt for 20 minutes. I told him to let her cry for 10 minutes, because I can’t take it. So, we see if he does it.
T was such a good sleeper, but with R I don’t know when she’s going through phases or needs a little extra cuddling since she always wants us to soothe her to sleep.

Well E still hates taking bottles from anyone but took an oz of milk from a sippy tonight.
My kids are staying at my parent's this weekend because H and I both work and we have no other option for daycare. So, here's hoping she eats something so I don't have to drive an hr after work at midnight to spend the night and feed her there.

I told DH last night we are doing hard core CIO again because I need sleep when I work.

Hi!!! Ahh there is no way I can catch up on like 2.5 mo of posts... so I am just gonne (tryto) pop back in! Feel free to fill me in in big things please!! I missed you all so much!! 💗 Is there a thing like 6 mo sleep regression as well? Sounds like it going by all your stories and I can add us to the list as well. Granted getting her shots during the 6mo pedi appointment Friday before last didnt help! She ran a fever for a couple of days and just generally was feeling off and slept like crap! I did NOT miss multiple motn wake ups heh. Seems it is getting a bit better again phew. Hope you all are doing well and that any sickness will soonest leave all our homes! Anyone got fun plans for the weekend? We are on our way to a big furniture store to hopefully buy a new couch. That is if DH and I can agree on what we like - which is the reason why wr have been on couch hunt for like 4 years hahaha ugh. We saw a sectional in an add that we actually both liked so we are off to check it out. I never really wanted a sectional buy rather had 2 seperate sofas but this one is quite nice.. lemme see if I can add a piccie!

HI muscari!! 💕welcome back! GL on the couch hunt, the one you posted is really nice! We had a really rough bedtime last night, she was a bear till almost 10:00 ugh. I definitely think there is so much going on at this age developmentally and teething that sleep can be a big cluster. Can’t wait to see little D again! 😍

Welcome back muscari how are you and D? I do think there is a 6 month sleep regression. I feel like ours started with the 6 month shots as well. So we did Ferber last night with J. He went to bed at 8, woke up at 915 and we did Ferber until he fell back to sleep at 940, he woke up at 1030, we did it again and he fell asleep at 1040 then he slept until 245! I fed him and then he slept until 7. We finally all got a good night's sleep. We will do it again tonight and hopefully he will repeat last night. I'm even ok feeding him twice a night. He used to go 4 hours, 4 hours, then 2 hours which was great but last night he stayed in the crib for 6.5 hours then 3.5 which was great.

Sorry for all the sleep troubles king26, addymac, and muscari! The more sleep I get, the more I crave it. It’s sucks because he’ll do so well from 7 until sometimes 2. But after that, it’s a battle. Good to see you muscari! I love that sectional.

muscari that is a great sectional! I hear you on furniture struggles. We moved into our home in may and it took us FOREVER to decide on what couch to get. We ended up with a sectional and I loooove it. Never had one, always had the two separate couches but I love my sectional so much now! Good luck!! Glad to see you back 🤗 king26 glad sleep went better! @easilyunamused I hear ya. Sometimes I’m more tired after longer sleep stretches than if I get little ones. Like I got a taste of more sleep and my body is like MOAAAARRRR!! N was ok last night. Down at 9. Up at 10, dh paci’d him, he went down quickly. Up at 11:37, as has been his usual all damn week- literally to the minute. I ferbered him til 1am, then gave up 🤦🏻♀️ and fed him. Then he slept til 6am. So 🤷🏻♀️ I fail at sleep training, clearly.

We went shopping today which meant an hour drive each way. J slept both ways and did great being up for around 3 hours while we shopped. He did good while we had coffee and sandwiches at Starbucks too. We came home and put together the exersaucer I hope he likes it
