I hope it's okay if I make this thread.
Baby h has a third day of fever. 😭😭😭 It was 102.7 when I took it after he woke up. It came out of nowhere on Saturday and he doesn't have a great appetite either. I will probably call the pediatrician today if it doesn't go down.
It was a rough night. Dh actually changed ds1's sheet last night, and I was impressed bc he doesn't usually do that type of housework. So at 1am last night, ds1 has peed the bed and I pull off the sheets and find that dh didn't put on a mattress cover. He's an adult too--i don't understand why he can't keep up with things like that. I tried to soak up the pee with towels and sprinkled some baking soda on it. I also ordered a stain remover from Amazon. But it was so unnecessary especially since I have mattress covers in the same stack as twin sheets in the linen closet.

My cold is in the way out, but R was upset at 3am so I was up lot. I ended up changing her diaper and giving her Tylenol - as well as some cuddles. T never really cuddles much, but R definitely likes it.
R also grabs my face and squeezes, usually when she’s eating since that’s the only time she’s in a semi laying down position. H gets his beard rubbed, but she hurts my face.

L has been sleeping pretty terribly the past few nights. She’s getting 2 teeth (just starting to break though her gums) and trying very hard to crawl. She won’t sleep on her belly so she keeps flipping in her sleep and then rocking herself back and forth into the side of the crib. So determined! She just turned 6 months yesterday- and DS didn’t crawl until like 10 months. I’m not ready for my little baby to be mobile!

thinkchocolate05 I hope H’s fever goes away! Poor thing. I hope your mattress is ok in the end. I always get super annoyed when DH does dumb stuff like that.

E was up every hr from 9-2. Then just awake from 2-3:30. DS woke up crying for "Paw Patrol blankie" at 4:45 (it was next to him in bed...). And then E woke up to eat 5. Pass the coffee, please.

You poor, poor woman. All the coffee for you. Hope that was just a fluke and you can get lots of rest tonight!

First day heading to work without my pump. I changed my schedule so I can pump right before I head out and as soon as I get home. Such a relief!

It only works now because I've spent the last few weeks slowly weaning off the pump. I gradually increased my time between pumps. Still uncomfortable but I'm very ready to be done.

It is 4pm and I just now got L to fall asleep for a nap. She woke up at 6am, and has only slept for 20 minutes in the car (at 9am). Ahhhhhhhhh. Today is rough.

J eczema is awful. His eye is swollen and his face is a mess. He woke up crying after an hour last night and had a rough time going down. It sucks. I hate that he's itchy and doesn't feel well. I'm stressing about why it's getting so bad and DH was stressed today and said all day was rough which then makes my anxiety flare up. School was awful too. I hope this week gets better.

king26 Have you noticed it correlating with anything he's eating? Does he have a steroid ointment at all? DS had eczema pretty bad as an infant and needed lots of lotion and a steroid cream for really bad flareups. Anecdotally, his is better now. Hopefully you'll have a similar experience.

Ugh H. Baby was fighting her nap and every time I went in to comfort her, she wanted to nurse. I just fed her, so she's not actually hungry. She's been nursing to sleep...a lot lately. So I sent H in to settle her back down so milk wasn't an option.
He picked her up and is rocking her to sleep.
Yeah, I could have done that, H. Trying to get rid of sleep crutches, not make new ones. 😐

king26 You haven’t done allergy testing yet? They usually test for the common things dogs, cats, dust... R spit up carrots and formula all over me and the couch. Not sure if she’s going to wake up or if 6pm was her bedtime.

Not sure if she’s going to wake up or if 6pm was her bedtime. We asked about allergy testing and they told us they woul dnt do it. Their suggestions were give him children's zyrtec if he's itchy or try alimentum formula if we think it might be a problem with milj.

I know over on the general discussion board they frequently talk about helpful things for eczema for their kids. Specific lotions and soaps and things. Unfortunately i think it’s buried in their long ass threads- maybe start a thread and ask? Some things sound really helpful and some of them swear up and down by certain creams. I’m sorry J is so upset bc of it. I’m so damn sick now. N only really has a cough with some congestion but I feel awful. I worked last night so I slept terribly during the day despite taking sleep time cold meds but dh came home early so he watched N while I took a 4 hr nap. I felt bad but I was so out of it. I feel less sleepy now but my throat and nose are a disaster. It feels like razorblades when I swallow we have a heavy work week between the two of us so this is not the week to get sick

thinkchocolate05 I’m sorry about the fever. I’d be anxious about it, I hope it went away! I’d be so annoyed about the pee and mattress too! Ugh! bsouls I’m glad R is more of a cuddler. Sorry she was fussy last night and her puking today. Hope she sleeps well tonight and no more puke! pennylane N does the same in his crib. He keep saying he’s doing his push ups lol bc he gets on all fours and goes up and down and back and forth until he freaks out and cries or flops down and passes out. king26 have you seen an allergist or is it just Js pcp saying they won’t allergy test? I might push to see an allergist bc I’m pretty sure I’ve read that they would test. I hope he feels better soon.

R puked at like 5:30pm and then at 8pm when she woke up - I tried giving her Tylenol before feeding her and within 10 minutes she puked. She ended up waking at 10pm and I finally brought her to bed with my at like midnight. She slept on my chest until close to 6am. She did her usual 4am wake up and chatting. Gah, I wanted H to take her for a bit, but he ignored my passive comments.
I fed R at 6am. I tried to take it slow, but she was having none of it. She wanted to be held or she was fussy, so I gave her Tylenol and put her back to bed. Fingers crossed she keeps everything in. I also think we need to get a thermometer. I have an ear one, but I think she’s too still too small as it read fine last night and she definitely feels warm.

Sorry your sick now addymac. My girls have been both sick and my throat felt funny too ugh king26, sorry about J’s bad sleep and eczema being so bad. I also might push for allergy testing if it’s that bad thinkchocolate05, I hope his fever is gone by now and he is feeling better! bsouls, sorry R was puking, that’s so sad ☹️ yeah we have the Braun ear thermometer and I swear the thing gives a different reading every time.

addymac, I hope this sickness passes quickly! Gah, it seems never ending this last push of winter. We are on day 3 of no poop from A. 😬 I tried bicycle legs, warm bath, water, tummy massages, and nothing has worked. I think we’ll pick up some prunes today and see if that helps. Must be from all the cereal he’s been eating lately. It just weirds me out since he’s been a multiple day pooper since birth.

I give j 2 ounces of apple juice when he cant poop and it works like a charm.

N had a decent night's sleep - only woke up twice- 2am where DH gave him his paci and 4am when I fed, then right back to sleep. HUGE change from the last week. I worked Saturday & Sunday night - poor DH was up with him several times both nights, Sat night from 4-5am, and then Sun night N was up from 4a-6am. DH said he gave up and brought him into bed with him but N just wanted to play the whole time, so poor DH, who had to be at work at 6am Monday, was up since 4am. He did say that five min before the nanny arrived, he quickly put N back in his crib so he wouldn't get scolded LOL and the damn kid fell asleep before our nanny arrived! this kid... hah!
Working 12h today... was hoping i'd be cancelled so I could just sleep the day away since my nanny would be here anyway and feel better, but no dice. oh well. maybe tomorrow.
@easilyunamused, I hope he poops soon. I get so nervous when N (a multi day pooper too) goes a day without pooping. we Just know its going to be a disaster explosion when it happens!
