I’m sitting this cycle out and cancelled my IUI. I have recently found out my marriage is really struggling, and I discovered my DH has a drinking problem and therefore a telling the truth problem. Too much going on emotionally to put myself through another month. Plus, I probably should have taken a month off after a year of back to back IVF!!!! I need to get tuned into my life again and let this rest for a little while until my marriage is back in shape or until I am solidly on my own. Knowing that we will only try IUI and then go to embryo adoption makes me a little more relieved, as I am in no hurry with adopting an embryo, and I am also wanting to give myself three full months on COQ10. I will be cheering you all on this month.

librariangirl I’ve been wondering where you’ve been! I’m so sorry you’ve been so sick. Glad you’re feeling better! hoosiermama76 I’m sorry you had to cancel and that you are struggling with your H right now. I hope you guys can get it sorted out quickly. I’m glad you aren’t feeling rushed anymore though. That must be a relief at least!

My baseline was “fine” today. She didn’t mention cysts and I didn’t ask because they would have had me do the same thing anyway so whatever. I start femara tonight and go back on the 26th to see what my follicles are doing. I’m so glad we’re in a new cycle. Someone please slap me if I ever say I’m taking a break from OPKs again!!

Starting Femara today for our first IUI cycle. Hoping the timing works with H’s business travel so we can use fresh instead of frozen semen.

So I got my ovidrel shot delivered today. They had it packaged really well with an ice pack but fedex was a day late with delivery and the shot was really only cool to the touch, not what I would call refrigerated. Should I call the RE about this or just be glad it was at least cool?
I did put it in the fridge immediately.

Woohoo for ordering your trigger shot charliefox! FX you can use fresh semen Bluebird! I’m glad you got your ovidrel obscureference. I would call the pharmacy you got the ovidrel from and just double check that it’s ok. I’m sure it is, but I’ve learned to double check everything! AFM... I take my last BCP on Friday, then we just wait for CD1, and then we’ll get started again. It will be another Femara, Follistim, TI cycle for us.

Yay for quadrupling librariangirl! Are you having more betas drawn? I have another beta draw on Sunday, along with my progesterone levels. I’m hoping everything looks good. PGAL brain is getting me crazy with every twinge I feel.

PGAL brain is getting me crazy with every twinge I feel. No doubt! PGAL brain sucks so much. I have everything crossed for an amazing beta rise and good progesterone levels on Sunday! Are you on a progesterone supplement?

This process is so so brutal and it’s easy to get caught up in needing to get to the next cycle as soon as possible but the times I’ve felt the best have been my break cycles / times. With everything work, marriage, well being. I hope the break does you well and you can figure out more clearly what you want your path to be. ((Hugs))
