I also want to say that Sterling has said she doesn't want to be admin. She created for the politics peeps, but we sort of crash the party because that's what we do.
But it's one or two threads of "there you are!"
I like this.
We need west coast admin/mods.

Right now some people are Admins for building privileges. As for long term, not sure yet. Not looking for any one person to be in charge but more of a tribe has spoken type vibe. But all that is just speculation and ideas. In the meantime we are going to try to make this place feel like home. Even if we move I am keeping this place open until we are sure everyone has a place. |

I think everyone is gonna end up at one place in the next couple days. tonight many were at a place and put down roots and had a drink instead of wandering around any more. I very much hope you are right. |

I'm in all the places except somehow not sterling's board. This place is really nice.
If someone wanted to build out something wholly new, I'm interested in looking. I appreciate everyone working on this.

There was no invite to Sterling's board. I messaged her last night when I saw SM went dark and then by chance I found sterlings link on TCF. I saw everyone was there, messaged her, and she didn't even know everyone had ran to her board. She also has zero interest in being an admin.

Thanks for creating this board. I have lurked since the bump and don't want to lose you all. You guys make me laugh and think harder about a lot of things! I am also lurking on sterling 's board. I know it doesn't really matter since I rarely post, but I do feel invested in the community staying together as much as possible. |

I am sad about Working Parents. I had my reasons for not posting there often but I lurked hard. Then and special needs went to gbcn. I would be interested in talking working parents stuff here. At least in threads if a board can't be sustained. Obviously I've mostly lurked for the past year but I do hope to start participating again as I can. (Part of my difficulty is it's now hard for me to post at work and I work long ass hours.) |
