Has anyone else been having trouble giving their little ones Tylenol? This last week J is having none of it and no matter what we try he barely swallows any of it. My sister told me to try suppositories but I really don't want to go there... Any suggestions?

yellowcat Baby H HATES Tylenol. The only way to get it down is to squeeze about 1/3 of the doze into his mouth with the syringe and then immediately pop his paci in. He automatically starts sucking and swallows the Tylenol.

E hates anything other than milk in her mouth. Vitamins included. We use a syringe and give little bits at a time until she swallows. It's messy and she usually cries.
So, basically, I have no advice.

N HAAAATES Tylenol. I give it in a syringe and either sneak it in while he has a paci or do bottle-syringe-bottle-syringe repeat. Or try to hold him down and give the syringe in a few spurts and then bf until he stops freaking out. I know sometimes at work we mix the Tylenol with like 5-10cc of the milk or formula. 🤷🏻♀️

E hates any type of meds. We have to stick one finger in the side of her mouth while we shoot the syringe into the back so she doesn't immediately spit it out. We then massage her chin to get her to swallow. It's def a process.

yellowcat 😕 how do you try to give it? In a syringe? Yes and try and get it to the back of his throat before he gets his tongue in the way.
