itsmemeg, I think I took Protonix during A’s pregnancy for reflux/heartburn, since it sounds really familiar & if I did, it helped A LOT/best, like I completely cut out Tums & could eat regularly again.

BTW, I can't remember who else it was who said they have really bad heartburn but only drink almond milk, but a warning - DO NOT TRY DRINKING REGULAR MILK. I poured myself 1/4 cup at work today to see if it would help and I couldn't even finish it, it was so disgusting. I guess that's what happens when you haven't drank cow milk in like 4 years. Me! I tried cows milk but it didn’t help either. I just got prescribed Protonix today for my reflux since I’ve tried every OTC med there is and nothing helped. I just started yesterday drinking apple cider vinegar (horrible!) and aloe Vera juice. I’m literally willing to try anything at this point. It’s so bad. I'm going to have to get something because this is literally the worst. When I'm willing to try cow milk, I know it's bad.

Had an U/S today. Baby is measuring small at under 10% (which is when the doctors tend to get concerned). But, blood flow from placenta is good, and I tend to have babies on the small side so they're not too worried. I will have to go in for even more monitoring, which at this point means an U/S every two weeks. So I'm just praying everything is going to be fine. Right now, I'm grateful that the blood flow is good because 27 weeks is not a time you want to be considering delivering a baby if the placenta has failed.

FX all is well, and glad that your doctors aren't too worried. Anecdotally, V measured very small and they were concerned about my fluid the whole third trimester; I had a million ultrasounds that pregnancy. He was tiny when he was born and is still a tiny kid but totally healthy and developmentally on track/ahead. Hopefully it's just another small baby for you!

sammichcat the best thing is you get to have regular ultrasounds so you’ll know soon if anything is up. That’s some comfort? Fingers crossed it’s just a little bubba as you say.

Last night when I was leaving work I slipped on the ice. Thanks spring. Luckily I'm pretty good at falling thanks to all my years playing hockey, but I'm still pretty sore this morning.

I have my regular check up today and I'm mostly just excited to leave work early. Besides that, I've got nothing.

I've been in denial that I can't see my feet anymore. But after tripping over the dog's bones a million times in the past couple days, I'll accept it. I have no in front of me peripheral vision.

Glad that they are monitoring you closely and not too worriedly. Hopefully, it’s all just precautionary and you’ll see your newborn at least 10 weeks from now.

I’m just feeling extra large saaame I have 10+ weeks to go and I am large and in charge I’m starting to get nervous about it. My maternity clothes are getting uncomfortable. Leggings that were holding me in are uncomfortable. Under the belly is uncomfortable, over the belly is uncomfortable. Ugh pity party over here.

I wonder if my bladder can go unscathed this time. I feel really fortunate to be able to do jumping jacks (when not KU) without incident.

Weird pregnancy thing of the day: apparently most of the hair follicles on my legs have stopped growing hair. No complaints but so strange.

Had a super pregnant lady moment this morning. DS and i made a funfetti spring cake over the weekend and I’ve been sneaking bites here and there directly from cake platter. I was doing that this morning and dropped a huge blob of icing on my shirt/belly and just used my finger and ate it. No shame in my pregnant game.
