Age: almost 3
Milestones: we picked and enrolled in preschool for the fall, it came down to which setup I thought would set him up for success with going potty during class. He looks like a baby compared to the others and of course threw a tantrum at the open house, glad the process is over.
Challenges: we are in between needing a nap and me wanting no more naps to allow for better sleep at night... some days he can make it and some days he can’t
Funny/cute stories:
How are you? These last few winter months are feeling never ending, ready to bust outside. Sleep is elusive for me so I am moving very slow these days.
Anything else?
QOTW: What is something that is considered a luxury that you can't live without? (I'm excluding phones and the internet from this because that's too easy.) Red meat, specifically steak and prime rib, it’s a luxury and I don’t make it at home a lot and appreciate it very much at restaurants.

Age: 3
Milestones: We're working on potty training. It's... not great.
Challenges: He sleeps like a newborn. Or an asshole. Or an asshole newborn.
Funny/cute stories: He was a grouchy little jerk yesterday from being overtired. He was rude to someone in the grocery store, then he immediately said, "I so sorry. I fwustwated because I don't sleep at night and I tired."
How are you? Tired, but okay. I CAN START RUNNING AGAIN NEXT WEEK!! and I'm excited. Plus we have a date tomorrow night where H will receive a prestigious award and I have a pretty dress to wear. It should be fun.
Anything else? Nope!

Age: 3 years
Milestones: nothing this week
Challenges: won’t stay in his bed
Funny/cute stories: First warm day of the year and kids wear riding their ponies outside when I got to work the other day. D watched from the car and said,”Mommy, get my helmet. I’m riding your horse today.” I put him on a pony instead of my horse and he says,”This is the wrong one but it’s ok.”
How are you? Determined to get back on my exercise/diet track. Starting 80 day obsession on Monday
Anything else? Work stress is mounting lately
