cornpop good luck with that midwife today...hopefully it won’t be too bad Rama that really is unfortunate...it’s so frustrating to get doubted by someone when you know you are doing what you should be. i’m sorry for the extra stress she is causing you - silver lining only a short time left to go with her? leatherpants listen to your mom. you look radiant!

We had a busy morning, so I'm hopping in a little later today. Weeks pregnant or How old is your LO: 35w6d Baby is the size of a: pineapple, mini-lop rabbit FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM (4th pg) Team: Blue Appointments: u/s this morning with the cagey tech who wouldn't tell me anything. Looks like baby is head down or transverse based on what she showed me? Also he had his goods on FULL display, definitely a boy Symptoms: Heartburn, if it's on the floor it's dead to me, running hotter than a furnace Milestones: Got my first "you're going to have this baby any day now, aren't you?" Rants/Raves/Vents: All of a sudden I really feel the time crunch. I want to get the hospital bags packed by this weekend and get the baby clothes washed. I'm feeling a little less angry with my mom over letting the name slip to my grandma, so I'll call today to smooth things over. She texted last night and she really does feel terrible. GTKY: What is your favorite season and why? Where I grew up (the Midwest), Fall. I LOVE the crystal-clear blue skies, crisp air, and the leaves changing colors. Where I live now (southern CA), Winter. Because I hate being hot, with a passion.

Weeks pregnant: 36+5
Baby is the size of a: baby
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: green
Symptoms: carpal tunnel, heartburn, back pain, crampiness
Milestones: term as o tomorrow
Rants/Raves/Vents: I told my supervisor over a month ago what I planned my for my last day to be. She submitted my paperwork to HR with my due date as my last day. So I spent like 3 days arguing with them to change it.
GTKY: what is your favourite season and why?
Spring! After months of snow and freezing temps, I'm usually completely giddy to feel sunshine and hear birds chirping. And it looks like we're getting an early spring this year.
ETA: Appointments! Had our home visit with the midwife today. Talked about all the birth stuff and listened to the baby. Every thing looks good. So we spent the rest of the visit drinking tea and sitting on the back porch. Weekly visits from here on out.

Weeks pregnant or How old is your LO: 30+4
Baby is the size of a: ...I looked on Saturday, but I forgot. She feels an awful lot like a bowling ball, though.
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: third.
Team: pink
Appointments: I saw my OB today. It took like 8 tries to get a blood pressure reading today and even then, he wasn't happy with the numbers. I've always had low/low normal BP, but today it was on the higher end once they finally got it. They tried three different machines/techniques & three different cuffs. It was annoying. Anyway, all looks fine & my uterus is tolerating pregnancy quite well this time around and still fairly thick, which he was pleased to see. I see him again two weeks from today & start NSTs then, too. I see the MFM for possibly the final time in three weeks.
Symptoms: nausea/vomiting again, so much heartburn, crap sleep.
Milestones: single digit weeks/double digit days left!
Rants/Raves/Vents: we ordered a new, bigger mattress in a box and I really can't wait to sleep on it. It's being delivered on Monday, but we won't have a chance to put it up & let it fluff until next Saturday. My brother will be staying with us & it'll be too much of a headache to try & move beds around & store our current guest room bed while he's here. Plus H is off next Saturday, so it works out better. We can get our bed set up in the morning and then have a day date.
GTKY: Probably spring/fall. I love the temperatures of them and the lack of humidity (for the most part). Summer is nice, because it's easier to get out & do activities, but I like the clothing better in winter.

Weeks pregnant or How old is your LO: 37+5 Baby is the size of a: honeydew melon, tackle box FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM Team: green Appointments: NST tomorrow and I go in for induction Sunday evening...eek. Symptoms: nausea, pain, tired, anxious Milestones: I guess I am in my last week of pregnancy. Rants/Raves/Vents: I am just trying to get all the necessary things done before Sunday evening. I feel like there is so much to do and not enough time. GTKY: What is your favorite season and why? I like summer because I have them off, but weather wise I thing like spring the best especially when the days are not too hot and not too cold.

Weeks pregnant or How old is your LO: 39w 1d
Baby is the size of a: mini skateboard
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: green
Appointments: tomorrow.
Symptoms: hip pain, insomnia, peeing all the damn time.
Milestones:
Rants/Raves/Vents: I’m ready. I’m done. I just want to meet my baby and find out what and who they are.
I too am getting anxious though. I’m scared of the labour again. I’m scared of having another large baby. And I’m worried about making it to the hospital in time. Maybe I’ll go into labour while I’m in the city for my dr appt? Wishful thinking?
GTKY: What is your favorite season and why? I love fall, but wish it would last longer. I’m so far north that things happen quickly. I hate our long winters and cannot wait for spring to show up soon though.

smilesp my OB doesn’t even measure fundal height to monitor growth, just scans. Try not to worry, a lady in my mother’s group was measuring way behind but he was just tucked up nice and cosy (8 pounds at birth).

I'm late but I am here!
Bonus points for bump pics:) EXTRA BONUS POINTS FOR BABY PICTURES!!!!
Weeks pregnant or How old is your LO: 2 weeks old already!! How did this happen?!?!
Baby is the size of a: We'll find out her weight at her pedi appt this afternoon
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: first take home baby
Team: Pink
Appointments: I had an appt yesterday with the midwife. Blood pressure is still high. Continuing all my meds. She was very impressed with how good my incision looks so that was nice. Baby has her 2 week appt this afternoon.
Symptoms: my belly is still decently bruised and swollen. I frequently have to remind myself that I still have to take it easy.
Milestones:
Rants/Raves/Vents: Rant then rave... She is doing a ton better latching. I had a terrible weekend. So much screaming at the breast and refusing to latch when she was obviously hungry. And then she would latch horribly and it would HURT. She has done so so much better the last couple of days which I am super thankful for.
GTKY: What is your favorite season and why? Probably spring or fall. I like the milder weather. I love to garden so springtime is when I get to start prepping everything. I love the cooler weather of fall and getting to be outside and enjoying bonfires and camping.

Weeks pregnant or How old is your LO: 37 weeks today! Baby is the size of a: Winter melon. I don’t even know what that is. 🤷🏻♀️ FTM/STM/TTM/etc: FTM Team: Blue Appointments: I had an US this past Monday and everything looked good! I go weekly now so I’ll be back there on Monday. Symptoms: I basically don’t get more than 30 minute chunks of sleep. Also still throwing up every single day. Heartburn. You name it, I’ve probably got it! 😂 Milestones: 37 weeks! I mean he could come anytime now!! Rants/Raves/Vents: I just want to sleep and not be in pain every time I get in and out of bed. GTKY: What is your favorite season and why? Spring! My first HDBD and I can't even get it together enough to post on time!
Weeks pregnant or How old is your LO: 32 weeks, 2 days
Baby is the size of a: ???
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: Third
Team: PINK
Appointments: today for AMA sonogram (yay for being old?!) and regular midwife appt.
Symptoms: Sciatica, varicose veins (anyone else?), lightning crotch sometimes. Heartburn!
Milestones: I flossed my teeth 4/6 days this week?!? I keep meaning to after having been scolded by the dentist at my last appt, but I never really got around to it until this week. First time was like a crime scene, but I'm happy to report my gums are hardly bleeding at all now. Yay?
Rants/Raves/Vents: DH finally finished painting the nursery and the boys all worked together to put the crib together. Feeling a bit more prepared, but we still have to figure out what minivan we are going to buy and make that big purchase...yikes! Also, I'm waiting to get my BRU completion coupon -- when and how do they send those out? I'm hoping to combine it with a trade-in coupon so we can buy the upholstered glider.
GTKY: What is your favorite season and why? I like all but winter, really. Spring is probably my favorite because my birthday falls then and the weather is nice without being unbearably hot.

I have enough trouble putting on regular socks. And the veins haven’t really gotten worse and don’t bother me much. I’m hoping they disappear quickly like last time.

cooperation I never actually got my completion discount coupon in the mail. But I think it's like 6-8 weeks before your due date? And they have coupons/codes/whatever in the store that they will apply to your registry. So apparently you do not have to go in to the store with the coupon in hand. At least at the store I went to.
