I’m trying to buy my mom a lightweight stroller for after the bucket seat stage. I have an uppababy vista and it is heavy AF. Is there a light stroller that is a step up from an umbrella style that any one likes?
I’m going to a big consignment sale in a few weeks - anything I should be on the lookout for? I’m a STM so I have the basics (RnP, halo bassinet, car seats, etc) but would love to hear what you couldn’t live without or are excited to use!

I got a Jeep brand through Prime Day last year, prior to getting pregnant this time around, and I really really like it. It's an umbrella, but has cupholders and has handles a little higher, so you aren't hunched over to push. I can find the link & send it if you're interested. ETA: it’s this one.

I had a chicco stroller I got second hand. That sucker lasted us 2 years and to Australia and back. It finally bit it, but it was easy to fold, pretty compact and lightweight and worked well for my big kid (he was like 40 lbs when we went to Australia).

I love my Baby Jogger City Mini. It's a little spendy if you get it new, but they're all over the place at consignment sales or the FB Marketplace for good prices. The "Jogger" part of the name is a misnomer, it's not a jogging stroller. It's very light and collapses super easily, compactly, and one-handed.
It's often a stroller I see recommended as a step up from an umbrella stroller without being a beast.
