sunfrogger when do you go in for your induction? I thought it was the morning. I’m all of a sudden really into your impending birth. I’ve always liked you but your late night impulse spring wreath crafting has me near obsessed w you bc this is something I’d never ever do and I’m really impressed. This literally just made my night and amazing timing for reading it because I'm a huge wuss. Thank you for the laugh 😂😂😂 My induction starts tonight with ripening! I came in at 8 and I'm officially admitted and hooked up to an IV. I'm maybe barely 1cm and still long & high so it's going to be a long process I feel :/ My hospital (that I share with bassa) is a teaching hospital so I had a student place my IV.... It just hurts a lot. But I'm in my room and the plan is to start low-dose Pitocin soon so. Just hoping she arrives soon. |

Also *waveS* hi! I lurked a lot today and just tried to get a lot done at home. We had dinner at my parents house which was nice to not have to cook.

Aw Ty ladies!!!!!
Well my nurse will be back at 12 to up the pit. It's already giving me cxns that I can feel. So that's new.
I'm still like so hot though. No blanket and a cold rag on my head. Blah.

So I guess the low dose is working.. I'm contracting every 2-3 minutes and I only just got pushed to 2.
My stupid Pitocin pump keeps going off though so that's a pain in the ass.
I would really love to avoid a Foley bulb like the plague. So.. I'm really hopeful and crossing my fingers.

I don't remember if it was the pit or the epi, but someone told me the regular manufacturer for one of those was in Puerto Rico but the factory still is not back from the hurricane so there was a substitute product being used and the monitor kept beeping although everything was fine!
(Not saying this is your case, just sharing the story!)
ETA:a friend that had a baby in January

Spaaanks! easternshoregirl I heard that too. Eeeep! So no check again yet. I'm able to sleep for a little bit. I feel the contractions and strongly once I wake up but I can still sleep (No pain meds yet) so? Idk. |
