B slept okay last night. Usual 2-3 hour stretches. And today she is 2 months!

My 3 year old busted me for getting Starbucks this morning. "Let me see your eyes, Mom. Oh, you are already awake, you don't need coffee." 🙄😪 She was wrong. I needed coffee.

My toddler is chasing the dog around while I try to convince her to go to Target with me.

I'm just putting around right now. We're pretty much ready. I just dusted the fan in the nursery and I'll need MH to vacuum that again for me but otherwise we're basically set. I don't have food for him and DD but we'll figure it out.

We're having dinner at my parents again because I don't want to cook and I tried to wrangle them into letting us treat to like steak sandwiches or something. Except my mom was like well can't ask your dad what he wants since hes asleep so I'm making burgers and Mac and cheese. 🤷‍♀️ it will be easier for us to go over earlier than at bedtime and less stress for E so.

I'm starting to get a lot of anxiety. Maybe because I know what L&D is like? Ughhhhhhhhh. I need a hot long shower.

I fed baby at 5:30. She slept from 6-8:20 and woke up for the day, not fussy at all. Laid her on my bed to change her diaper, and she started spitting up everywhere. 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ You’ve been mostly upright for over two hours. Can you please just keep some of that in?!?!

We need to get out of the house for sanity’s sake. I wanted to take the girls to the zoo because the temp is supposed to be nice, but it’s super windy and still feels kinda of chilly. So... Walmart? It’s kind of the same thing? 🤷🏼‍♀️ Ugh. Germs and cold weather need to go away.

We’re heading to bouncing babies at the library in an hour. My first baby program. My cousin is a librarian and on maternity leave with her baby and says it’s fun. So we’ll go together. It’s nice out so as long as H isn’t cranky, we will walk over. It’s only a 20 minute walk.

Annnnd she just spit up all over my nursing tank. I need more nursing tanks to keep up with my laundry this kid makes. Going to solve my current problem with a blow dryer. 🙄

We had another good night last night. If this child is anything like his sister he will be sttn by the 4 mo sleep regression and then not again until he's almost 2 😪😪😪

I tried on regular jeans today (1 mo PP). I could get them buckled but my father hung over the sides 😒😒. I have 10 lbs to lose before my prepregnancy weight and it's all in my butt and thighs. I foresee a lot of squats in my future. Boo. For now I'm still eating all the food.

I just did my first walk with DS since it's so nice here. We just did a mile but I wore him and he slept the whole time. It felt so nice to get outside!!

Also, we got our newborn pics back and I have to AW a few... I'm so excited about how they came out!! Sorry if these are huge...I can never tell on Tapatalk how big they will be.

I rarely buy occasionally get them. Do you have them often? For me they are always caused by a perfect mix of hormones and dehydration. OTC meds and rest help me.

I haven't even tried on pre pregnancy jeans.  I am still eating all the food right now - eventually I need to start eating healthier but for now, give me and the sugar, fat and carbs!!!

I have been a migraine sufferer for years

I have been on migraine prevention medications for years besides while trying to get pregnant and while pregnant.  While trying to get pregnant with J and while pregnant with him, I barely had any migraines.  It was great!  But now I am starting to get headaches frequently and had a horrible migraine last night (happy birthday to me!).

I was really hoping to not get back on migraine prevention medication but I may need to.  Eh.

Good morning ladies!
I barely slept and it had nothing to do with the baby. MH was restless because he just started with a cpap machine and couldn’t get comfortable. I slept for an hour total and it wasn’t even all at once. I’m soooooo tired.
Nothing special going on here. G’s afternoon is super busy so we aren’t going anywhere.
I have to take the baby’s 2 month photo today. 😊

yellow711, sorry to hear about your migraines, that is really sucky. So do you think hormones have to do with yours too then if you didn't get them while pregnant?

marygracerich, I'm super tired today too but not due to the baby either. Mine was due to the toddler. Well, we did have about 3 wake ups with the newborn but it was the toddler that kept me up in between a couple of those feedings. My DH was snoring a bunch too b/c he kept sleeping on his back! I just have to nudge him so he rolls over but at this point (he slept in the guest room for a long time while I was pregnant), he gets worried I'm waking him up b/c there is a problem!

I did just take a nap with the baby on the couch though, so that was nice. And I held off on my coffee until now, so once the coffee sets in, I should be better off.
I am trying to get together with my friend with newborn twins for a walk this afternoon! Hopefully she is able to go, we need to catch up. Oh and my mom is about to stop by with lunch from Panera!

Speaking of pants does anyone have a good rec for high waisted pants? My other pants fit comfortably but I have a little muffin top. I think postpartum bod likes to be controlled all the way up to the waist!

We did our taxes this morning and we just have lots of house stuff to catch up. DS2 slept like crap again in the middle of the night until H out a blanket over him until he fell asleep. I’m thinking we need to get some swaddled and see if they work.
