I'm in the market for a new ski helmet for my son. Glad I saw this before getting Giro.

LifeLock and MetLife announced this morning that they will break off from NRA support. Companies are listening.

A bunch of companies have decided to sever their ties with the NRA. If you're on Twitter, go tweet at the remaining companies for some extra encouragement.

I heard the idea that we should lobby the credit card companies to no longer process gun sales.

Consider whether you invest in gun companies. I have a Vanguard fund that’s just a general stock index fund. After reading this article, I looked up the holdings and the fund includes stock for Ruger and Vista. I just transferred all my holdings to their social index fund that doesn’t include any gun companies. The fee is slightly higher (still very low because Vanguard) but to me, worth it. www.marketwatch.com/amp/story/guid/51D90C88-18B6-11E8-8E6D-11ECA298D76A?__twitter_impression=true

It’s not just Amazon. Apple and Google also carry NRA tv.

I saw a headline that said FedEx ended their partnership with the NRA.

I didn’t know this thread was happening when I posted earlier. Hopefully this keeps gaining momentum!

I follow @drainthenra on IG and they are keeping a very up to date list and also contacts at companies that you can email to drop their NRA support

I read a tweet where a guy claimed he was cancelling his prime membership and the customer service rep said him they were going to do the right thing. I'm kind of doubting that the customer service representatives know anything before an announcement is made, but it's something. Plus the quote doesn't actually promise anything.

Dammit. My helmets are Bell and Giro. And my everyday water bottle is a camelback.

I'm interested to see what happens with Delta. I thought I read that Atlanta was one of the top choices for the new Amazon headquarters. I'm not sure I would want to move headquarters there after seeing the retaliation against Delta.

They haven't backed down on streaming NRAtv, or selling arms online.

I saw something over the weekend that only 13 people had ever used the Delta NRA discount. Anyone know if that's true?

They aren't getting business from it and if theykept it the flak was going to be worse than not ending the program. Then Georgia went and stepped in it. I hope Delta moves a chunk of their business out of ATL and GA sees who actually has the pockets.

I think his actions also make GA look petty as hell, and when we're trying to get Amazon to come here...well...he probably killed any chance of that.

I want to think Amazon won't go there because of that and they won't if the tax breaks aren't there for them, too, but so far, they still haven't cut ties with the NRA, so who knows?

It's not necessarily because of the NRA ties. It speaks to how the state gov may react if your company does something they don't like. Ie they may find some way to punish you financially. If another state can offer you nice incentives and you don't have to worry about vindictive gov...
