After such a craptastic day yesterday, today has been great. We made it to the bank, grocery store, Costco and I got gas. H slept through it all.
I logged into MyFitnessPal for the first time since getting pregnant. I’ve been eating whatever I want and while I’m still below my highest pregnancy weight, I did gain 5 lbs since weighing myself 3 weeks ago. No more chocolate with every meal.

tiffbabey That sounds so frustrating. Hopefully they are ready for you at 6! aprilz81 my little guy is just a few days older then your LO and we’ve been going through the exact same thing. He was great for the first 3.5 weeks and then shit hit the fan. Today is the first good day I’ve had in a week. Hopefully things turn around soon for you.

He was great for the first 3.5 weeks and then shit hit the fan. Today is the first good day I’ve had in a week. Hopefully things turn around soon for you. I woke her up to eat at 11:00 last night, she woke up at 3:00 and had formula and nursed and was fussy for about 45 minutes after eating, finally went back to sleep and slept until 6. I nursed her and fed her formula and she was fussy again so I pulled her into bed with me since DH was already up and getting ready for work. We co-slept until just after 10:00 (another 3 hours). I fed her but she decided she only wanted 2 of the 3 ounces I prepared chilled in the swing for about 15 minutes before screaming bloody murder, then promptly fell asleep on me and slept for 3 hours. I'm feeding her again now so I'm curious to see how much formula she will take because it has been 4 hours since she last ate. Formula is expensive and I'm tired of dumping it down the drain... I'm also wondering if I'm creating bad sleep habits which is contributing to the problem, but four weeks is too little for that, right? And other than being a little fussy overnight she will sleep in the RNP without too much complaining, especially if she is asleep when we transfer her.

Hi! 41+4 now. Going to the hospital in a few hours to have prostin gel applied and to hope that works. I really hope it works.

My mom got DD down for a nap. I'm happy. I was worried she wouldn't nap here! I was still at my appt when she went down so I'm just hanging out with my mom, doing some homework for Accounting.

aprilz81 yes 4 weeks is definitely too young to worry about bad slee habits!! I was SO stressed w DD about her getting used to things or bad habits etc & I think we all suffered bc of it. Like I refused to let her nap in arms bc I was so worried we would have a bad transition to the crib. And I wish I hadn’t been so freaked about that & just enjoyed the cuddles. DS naps in arms at least once a day & has no problem sleeping in his crib so I am seeing now that I shouldn’t have worried about those things with DD. At this stage it’s about getting sleep, however you’re able to (in a way that is safe of course) and worry about transitions later.

tiffbabey, so sorry to hear about the delay, that really sucks. I'm now getting the night sweats-yuck. They aren't the soak all the way through everything type but still disgusting. My work friends with babies are stopping by today to hang out and have lunch! It'll be nice to have some company. It also gave me motivation to straighten up the house pretty well. I pulled some pozole out of the freezer so lunch is taken care of. Baby V is sleeping pretty well. Last night she slept 7-11 then woke again at 3ish and then was all grunty and noisy starting around 6. I'll take it! I feel like that is pretty awesome for a 2 week old. (I typed all this this morning and never posted so...)

I am kind of excited to go back to work because I will hopefully save money by not scanning the bst pages all day. I actually sold a ton of stuff the other day so that justifies buying summer stuff right?

If only I produced enough milk, I wouldn’t have to be buying it. But the plus side is that someone else can feed him! I’ve been able to go to my parents’ house to take a nap and they will feed him if he’s hungry during that time. I wouldn’t worry about bad sleep habits at this age. H will sleep just fine in the bassinet at night, but during the day, he more often than not, has to be in my arms to have a good nap. If my husband has him, he’s more likely to lay down. As long as he sleeps, I think it’s fine at this stage.
