I’m here with my very alert and awake baby. He is currently laying in my lap just smiling and pooping.
Today I have to register my new car. I also have to go to the grocery store at some point. What an exciting life I lead. Lol

My mom and sister fly in today and I’m so excited. I need to straighten up a bit and the cleaners come at 2 so I hope after that I don’t get any comments on the state of my house.

I’m still waiting to go in for an induction 😣I was scheduled for 7:00 am yesterday, but called this morning at 6:00 and they are still super busy and have no beds... I have to call back at noon, unless they call first, which probably won’t happen. The waiting really sucks, and we keep getting up really early for no reason.

I’m so sorry tiffbabey. That really sucks.

We got a decent amount of ice last night so no school today. They NEVER closed school this much when I went through the district. I’m all for safety but I’m also for please get my children out of my house for a bit. I’m also supposed to take DD3 to the ENT to see an audioligist. DNW to take four children to that appointment. 😬

Ds slept well last night and I got about 6 hours of sleep so I'm feeling good today. We have a weight check this morning and I'm really curious to see what he's at!

Hi everyone!

I got up and showered before DD1 woke up. Have to hit Carter's and Target for a couple returns /shopping and then we're going to hang at my parents house until my Drs appt at 1. DD will ask for them all weekend but this is probably the last time we'll go over before I have to go in for my induction. We're planning to basically put E to bed there then go to the hospital to be admitted for induction Tues night.

With a firm date in line I'm already finalizing all the things..

A Costco run for water
Clean sheets and towels.. And set up my side of the bed for gross post partum sleeping
Another wet mop of the floor
Finish the rest of my schoolwork this weekend for accounting
Sterilize bottles /pump parts /get out milk storage stuff / etc.

Etc.

I’m sorry you keep getting pushed off. Have you talked to your ob about it? I know my OB has very strict guidelines on how far he’d allow a mom with gd to go to. He wanted no complications for mom and baby. They might have some pull to get you a bed.

ugh I am so sorry. This sounds so stressful and just like all around torture. I hope they can get you in soon!

How far over are you?? At some point they need to make room for you!

I’m not overdue but am being induced due to gestational diabetes. My OB wanted as close to 39 weeks as possible. I am 39+1 today, so I guess it’s not a huge deal. But I’ve been on insulin four times a day and my numbers have not always been the greatest, so it’s starting to worry me. Plus she was measuring 7.12 a week and a half ago so that worries me a little , I just don’t really want a c section if I can avoid it.

When I went home for my intermission between hospital visits I changed the sheets so id come home to a perfectly made bed. I was so glad I did that!

Morning!
On way to my 6 week pp checkup in the city. We are all going up, so we’ll run a few errands too.
I have a little coffee date birthday party to take the kids to this afternoon, then DS has hockey practice. So it will be busy busy getting everyone everywhere but should be a good day!

DD1 doesn’t go to the sitters Thursday’s so we are going to all grab lunch for the first time as a family of four. I have a gift card to a somewhat new quick causal place that’s burning a hole in my pocket. I can’t wait to get a huge burger.

MH is off work today. MIL has dd1 for the day. This means I might actually be able to get stuff done today!! I did like 6 loads of laundry between Monday and Tuesday and it’s been sitting folded in a hamper ever since. I haven’t had the time or ability to put it away since the toddler is impossible to do laundry with.

We’re getting snow today and under a weather advisory so just hanging out at home. DS1 has a cold but I think we’re going to bake muffins and cookies soon.

And it’s so weird to me that today is my due date and Ds2 is already 11 days old. I was a week and a half over due with DS1 so it’s just a weird feeling.

My unicorn baby is not a unicorn anymore. F has been fussing on and off the last few days, her heating schedule has been weird (not finishing bottles, nursing longer, eating more frequently and then less frequently, not sleeping like she used to). I'm over it and tired...

Thanks for the thoughts everyone. I called at noon and still no luck, they want me to call at 6:00, but the nurse said hopefully they will call me before that. Which is hard to believe at this point. I’ve been number one on the induction list since last night; I don’t understand how they can put them off for this long, they will never catch up!

Hellooo! DS had a good night last night, I think we’re officially out of the RNP and back into the PNP!! Also his congestion is so much better. I could barely hear him breathing last night it was a little freaky. We went to brunch with a friend & her daughter is 1.5...omg don’t miss those days. When they have all the feelings but don’t have the vocabulary yet...omg. I’ll take 2-3yo crazy over that any day!!

I worked out after brunch & now I’m Feedijg DS & watching the finale of th amazing race. Gotta sew more diapers today & tonight were going to bible study for the first time since S has been born!! I’m excited to finally get out of the house. DD and DH are at my parents today so they’ve been sending me pics— I know my dad is loving it!!! He didn’t get to come after S was born so it’s been awhile since he has seen DD.

kbw has a really good point. I'd call your OB because this is ridiculous!!! Hugs, lady!!

C is 3 weeks old today and it’s my first day alone with both boys! My parents left 2 hours ago and so far, so good! DS1 is surprising me by playing really nicely by himself. 🙌🏻

Baby was up from 5am-7am so I’m tired. Like more so than usual lol.
