After two weeks of vomiting off and on, DS1 (6) is having his first full day of school since last Wednesday. He has missed so much school this semester. He had a check-up yesterday at the doctor that was mostly good, but the doctor was concerned about his weight loss. We did blood work and we were pleasantly surprised with his blood counts-- they were low but within normal limits, which is typical for him. I'm worried about him falling behind at school with all this going on, but his teacher is really supportive and understanding (she and her daughter both have autoimmune disorders too).
He did his blood work like a champ and told the tech she did a good job when it was done, lol.
I'm tired and ready for everything to be back to normal. Today was a good start though. I got benched for two more weeks from running, but otherwise had a good post-surgery check-up and H finally got back to work.
QOTW: He doesn't have an official science class- they just work it into other parts of the curriculum- but he likes that and history. He's a little nerd and I love it.

J's 4.5 and doing well. She was home yesterday with a fever, but no other symptoms. I suspect change of weather - it was snowing Monday, 85* on Wednesday, and then 40s again. Seriously, Mother Nature. WTF.
She got her recital outfit for her ballet/tap class. The recital isn't until May, so I'm sure the next two months will just FLY BY with her asking me about the recital every day until it ACTUALLY happens. Yeah... it'll fly by.
So exhausted and overworked. I can't wait for this tax season to be over already.
QOTW: She's in pre-K so no real classes, but she loves reading and spelling. She's shown promise in math as well, but gets frustrated easily. Overall, she's really enjoying "school" so FX it stays that way. I was a huge math nerd (it came really easily) and minored in English in college, but with common core... IDK how much I'll be able to help with homework. I may need to go back to school to help her LOL
