Age: 6 mo!
Milestones: starting to eat solids! he's starting to stand on his own with support against the ottoman or couch cushion. he can play in his crib when he wakes up for awhile before starting to cry.
Challenges: sleep. we have some awesome nights and some awful nights. Ooof.
Funny/cute stories: we were at the hospital visiting DH (he works there) and we went to one of the food courts to have lunch. sometimes when hes really excited and happy he will start this grunting / yelling / grrr-ing noise while flailing his arms and legs, as if he's jumping up and down, and he gets SO LOUD. It's adorable and hilarious and he was SO LOUD people from other tables would look up and then when they saw it was him, they'd break out into a smile and laugh. It was funny and a little embarrassing b/c there's no way to get him to stop until he's good and ready to stop, lol.
How are you? tired. i actually drank coffee today at work. and I have another shift tomorrow. MOAR COFFEE PLEASE
Anything else? my sister is coming to visit this weekend and I'm excited for her to play with N. She's not a big baby/kid person but she adores him (duh!) but I think she will have a lot more fun with him this visit than she did over xmas when he was a lot smaller and didn't do as much.
QOTW: What is a favorite toy from your childhood you would love to share with your little one? hmm. i can only think of super girly things like Polly Pockets, so IDK. I have a stuffed bear my older older sister gave my older sister who gave it to me, and I loved it so much, he was pink and now he's a dull grey. He's on his bookshelf with a bunch of other animals. I wish he would love it like I did because I'd love for us to have that, but I don't think he will.
