I’m guessing mskatiep is like 5’6ish. I’m not great at estimating heights but she’s at least that tall I think. ETA: just kidding. I looked at pics from our meet up and she is only like an inch or 2 taller than me. 5’4 max.

And she's fast... She said the seller should always accept the highest offer unless there was something else in the other offer that made the deal look better, such as an all cash deal (faster closing) or closing costs paid. Weird. We had the higher offer, theirs came in the morning before ours -- verbally (by maybe eight hours), and theirs was about 15K less than ours. On the other hand, we accepted an offer that was $10,000 less even though it was all of the same terms (all-cash, waived appraisal and waved inspection)

guster - There's also maybe a chance that in their 2 years on the market, they had buyers whose loan fell through? My parents dealt with that last year and they were pretty wary in general after that experience. There's nothing in the history that indicates that, but anything is possible. wedding, they were listed way too high in the past. If you look at their history it drops and then taken it off the market for a couple months and put back on at the drop the price and then it's dropped again. The compsjustify the price (it was actually priced a little low tbh) My biggest bit of frustration comes down to timing. I sent this house to my agent/her associate and the mortgage guy over a week ago, and asked for information on it because it had been listed for two years. No response, except for the mortgage guy who helped me run the numbers. The only reason we got to see it on Saturday was because I kept texting to find out if we could see it that following Monday. Our agent verified that they already had a verbal offer from that morning but could show it to us anyway. If they had done a job a week ago, it might have been ours.

I'm going to need you to take one for the team until my foundation is set.. Please and thank you! I want you to get your house quickly but I moved here not to deal with the cold. So sorry not sorry on that. I told my sister I should sell and take the equity to buy a house for cash in CO. She was like, "yeah, and I'm sure you'd love it there until your first winter." Right she is. inthekitty I thought of you this morning when I heard your boyfriend LL on the radio.

It was the least she could do for being the cute one while we were kids, haha.

Towards the end of our search, we'd expanded to looking in Newtown and our realtor wasn't as familiar and quite honestly, not thrilled about it. I asked for a week about going for a second visit on this one house, and in that time, it sold. Fortunately our house came up shortly after because our relationship was starting to sour.

guster, maybe if they're willing to take a lower cash offer it means they know something bad will come up in an inspection? Just trying to be an annoying ray of sunshine in a crappy situation.

DS1 just remembered he has a project due tomorrow, DD has half the neighborhood in our backyard, I have nothing for dinner and our financial planner is coming in an hour. T had school today, DS1 went to a friend's so I had a nice lunch/shopping day with DD and C.

I always feel like a child when I'm with a group of people and we're standing. I wish I was just 3 inches taller.
Grr, not sure why my GIF isn't working. It's an image of the lyrical genius that is Skee-Lo.
I wish I was a little bit taller I wish I was a baller I wish I had a girl who looked good, I would call her

Youngest is the tallest. Probably because after having more parenting experience under her belt, your mom understood the dangers of vaxxing, the absolute importance of natural birth and breastfeeding, the traumas of not bed sharing and attachment parenting, the benefits of cloth diapering, the healing powers of essential oils, and quit working to stay at home and dedicate her life to being a mommy above all else. This literally lead to the youngest blossoming and growing to her full potential.

It could be that. I don't mind your ray of sunshine , I just can't feel good about any of it. It feels very cynical, but I don't believe in the everything happens for a reason stuff.

So this is random, but I have a question about frozen black bean burgers. I bough the Morning Star spicy black bean burgers to try for my lunches. I see the packaging has three different ways to cook them. Which way is best, in your opinion? At work I can only microwave, but I wonder if cooking them in the oven or in the skillet is the better for the taste. I'm probably over thinking this.

I'm 5'4". I always wished I was either much shorter or much taller. I like being 5'4"! I don't want to be shorter because there's less places for extra pounds to go. I wouldn't mind being a couple inches taller, but wouldn't like much more because I like wearing heels and still not being taller than a most people.

Well things aren't as okay as I thought. Apparently they just view me and my family as a lawsuit waiting to happen. My sister-in-law was getting ready to get on her horse, she just got him, and I asked her his name and went to pet him. And she freaked out and told me to back up because she was too terrified for me to be near him. A week ago she text me and was all excited about getting him and wanted me to come meet him.
