Age of LO(s): Two and a half
Month/Cycle: 24 calendar months. Lost track of number of cycles altogether. /2 AL.
CD/DPO: CD18/ 6DPO
Timing: O-1 and O+1. And a couple of other times last week for luck.
RRCS: Can't work out what this stands for, sorry!
So at the moment I'm dealing with extreme guilt because of how much our losses have affected L. I am not at all the same person I was two years ago. And yet when I think of stopping trying now I feel even more guilty at the idea of not giving her a sibling. Hurrah for parental guilt.

Sorry for the feelings purple . I totally get it though. I've had 2 pregnancies and 2 near deaths...and as terrified as I am of something going wrong again and DD growing up without me I'm still here trying... ETA : RRCS is Rants, Raves, Chart Stalks

hugs purple, the guilt that comes with secondary IF is super frustrating. Age of LO(s): 2.5 Month/Cycle: 18 total months, 16 cycles/2AL CD/DPO: CD3 Timing: n/a RRCS: OMG I hope to never take Provera again. This AF might just kill me. I posted more in the TTCAL thread but I finally got withdrawal bleeding on CD80 so this is basically 3 periods wrapping into one and holy crap.

hugs purple, the guilt that comes with secondary IF is super frustrating. Thanks. This isn't even secondary infertility, although I know that's a nightmare too. I've had two miscarriages, one of which was twins, and three chemical pregnancies since we started TFAS two years ago. We had unexplained infertility before L was conceived. Now the problem is staying pregnant rather than getting pregnant in the first place! When is your LO's birthday? L will be three in June.

I think I remember you saying they didn't find anything after doing repeat loss testing? DS will be 3 in Sept.

charliefox I hope the fact that it's so ridiculously heavy is at least balanced out by it not lasting too long. Sorry it sucks so bad:(

Different name, still sucks. I think I remember you saying they didn't find anything after doing repeat loss testing? Thanks. Yes, it definitely sucks. They didn't find anything apart from age. Apparently once you're forty, fifty percent of pregnancies end in miscarriage. I hope your bleeding has calmed down, charliefox.

Age of LO(s): 2
Month/Cycle: 15/17 I think?
CD/DPO: 11 DPO
Timing: -1
RRCS: On progesterone to lengthen my LPs, so that's working (usually 8 days), but I still got a BFN yesterday. RE wants bloodwork Monday to double check if my period doesn't come before then.

Age of LO(s): 5.5 Month/Cycle: 16/17? Ish? CD/DPO: 6/— Timing: n/a. Monitoring ultrasound on Monday and we’ll find out what’s up then. RRCS: turns out my doctor did have something else to try between clomid and IVF. I’m on day 4 of injections of Follistim (name may not be quite right but you get the idea). 20% chance of multiples with this. Yipes. Of course none of this is covered by insurance, and DH and I have been fighting a lot, so I wonder if I’m doing the right thing by going forward with this cycle. I hope your positive feeling pays off this month sammysam

shakinros I'm sorry you and your H have been fighting:( Is it over the cost of the fertility treatments? I feel like (yep unsolicited opinion here) if you really want a baby then you have to go ahead with this cycle and shouldn't feel bad or guilty about it. If not you'll end up resenting him for you not trying everything you could which in the long run would be worse. I hope this ends up being the thing that works! Good luck at the US Monday and update after!

Age of LO(s): 5.5
Month/Cycle: 4/3
CD/DPO: 5/-
Timing: na
RRCS: Feeling very emotional. 6 people have announced their pregnancies and 3 of them have been in the time period that I should be pregnant. I had such high hope for this past cycle because timing was right on. I should probably start temping. I've just been doing it based off LMP and CM, but I think it's time to start doing temping.

remi Sorry you're feeling down:( I get it. I got a boat load of pregnancy announcements over the holidays when I should have been 6 months pregnant. I didn't start temping until after our loss. I actually found that I O on average a day or two later than I thought based on OPKs which was the only thing I was using before. So now I temp. My sleeping is erratic so my temps aren't super reliable but I can still see the pattern which at least makes me feel like I have a little more control over the whole process...even though I don't.

remi I normally O pretty early so I normally start on CD 7. I usually get my positive by CD 10...but my cycles are shorter...normally 23 to 25 days. I really like them. They worked for me for my DD and for our loss (it was the only thing we used)...it's still my main method (that plus CM) but the temping has just made me realize that it's worth throwing in that extra day at the end:P We normally go EOD from CD 7 and then when I get my positive reading that day plus the next 2...we were getting lazy for a while and were stopping right after the positive but this cycle (because of temps) I made sure we got in the next 2 days as well;)

Because based on lmp and cm I ovulated early this month. I’ll start the opks for sure!

remi I think you'll like them. I use the Clear Blue digital (because I'm terrible at knowing when it's an actual positive...and because when you pull out the test stick you can still see your line so even when it's negative you know by the darkness of the line when your positive is getting close). I think if you have a longer cycle you can start closer to CD 10 for testing...but I've gotten my positive on CD 6 before which is why I start early.

remi I also test twice a day when I start getting EWCM and when I see the line starting to look darker just so I don't miss my positive. This cycle if I had only tested in the morning I would have missed my positive.

remi, I'm so sorry. I found my way back to HIH because I was exhausted by so many people on my bmb (private board) getting pregnant the first month or two of trying.

remi, I'm so sorry. I found my way back to HIH because I was exhausted by so many people on my bmb (private board) getting pregnant the first month or two of trying. Oh god yes They're lovely ladies, and they really helped get me through the miscarriages. And they don't understand. I was the first to start TFAS when our LOs were only eight months old.
