Not a good appointment. TW - Loss

My OB couldn’t find a heartbeat this morning. We went back for an ultrasound, and baby stopped growing at 9 weeks. I have a D&C scheduled for Wednesday.

We’re devastated. MH had to go back to work, so I came home to rearrange my schedule for the week. After the whole ectopic nightmare last summer, I was trying to tell myself that everything had to be ok this time, and I really thought that it would be. I’m angry and sad and shocked.

I’ve really enjoyed getting to know you all, and I’m disappointed to have to leave this group. I hope that every one of you has happy, healthy, incredibly boring pregnancies. ❤️

I am so sorry <3 both of my losses where similar where the baby stopped developing a couple of weeks before I showed signs. I am sorry you had to find out at a routine appointment. That must have been such a shock.

Please take care of yourselves and know we are still here for you if you want to drop in from time to time. I take comfort in watching the LOs from my loss BMBs.
